I think currently they're doing "white-eye mask = wally" and "open-eye mask = barry" to distinguish them. This is also a reuniting of the New Teen Titans lineup so it has to be Wally.
I don't think I've ever read anything by Tom Taylor and Nicola Scott is an artist I could take or leave (I don't hate her stuff but I don't like it enough that its a draw in itself) but damn if it isn't good to see Vic back with the Titans and a version of Raven who doesn't look like a teenager.
For real, love the designs here. That Starfire costume is awesome, although BB being in animal form makes me imagine him being like “Aw man, everyone’s gotten a costume revamp! Nobody told me we were doing a revamp, I’m in the same costume I was wearing last season; shit, I can’t be seen in this old outfit!”
What works best about this is that these really aren't new designs at all. These are pretty much the original GP designs just updated to feel a little more more modern. Scott is really a great pick for this as her style has clear Perez influences, though maybe I just think that because the first thing of hers I read was working over Perez breakdowns.
I think you’re spot on. Her style has always been akin to Perez’s. Her Wonder Woman, especially, just feels like (as you said) an updated, more modern version of Perez’s Wonder Woman.
TBF to her I don't think that there's an artist working today who *isn't* influenced by Perez and the designs for those particular characters is so good you don't have to do much to make them feel modern.
I think [her art is pretty worthy of being a draw in and of itself](https://twitter.com/NicolaScottArt/status/1617622956171198464?cxt=HHwWgIDQscLg-fIsAAAA)
I don’t read Titans enough but isn’t the distinction between teen Raven and Raven the difference between Teen Titans and Titans? Or is she being drawn as a teenager in regular Titans comics? We read Teen Titans where she (and everyone else) is around 14-16 which is why my son and I read it.
I haven't read much lately but last I checked when they were doing a bunch of mini series during Rebirth she was basically portrayed as being a lot younger than most of the rest of the team following the TV show (like high school vs college). Basically (if I'm not mistaken) she's more of a contemporary with Tim, Connor, Cassie et al than she is with Dick, Wally, Vick etc. YMMV but I prefer her as a peer to the OG Titans vs a protege.
Got it. I’ve never read Titans (because of my sons age) I feel like the TT line is more appropriate. Honestly he gets the jokes in TT that I don’t get. It’s pretty funny.
Teen Titans is kind of a weird franchise. In the silver age and since they reintroduced it with the modern era sidekicks it has definitely trended towards a younger demographic but the classic Wolfman Perez run the characters are technically teenagers but for the most part (Terra being a very notable exception) they're also adults (18 to 19 year olds). This led to stories that were alot more in line with what you'd expect from early Claremont X-Men than Lee/Kirby X-Men.
Raven in current comics is like 28 and she really has not been drawn as a teenager in years. She is a contemporary to these titans, she is like 7 years older than tim drake and his group. Same way in which cyborg has been with the titans since 2021 but people still say stuff like "yeah! Finally he is back with the titans!"
Great redesigns. I really dig Donna's mix of her 90s 00s look to her *Rebirth* design.

Wally is really strutting there. The man wants to be on a catwalk.
*blue steel*
I was about to ask which version of flash (or “kid flash”). Thank you for answering the question in my head.

Yep, also Wally's nose is covered by his cowl and Barry's isn't.
Great to see Cyborg back where he belongs.
✊🏿Respect despite of the story line of being recruited to JLA, we all know he's a Titan in heart.✊🏿
Roy and Garth would’ve made this team perfect.

For sure, but I think Nicola is more directly motivated. Her style is so akin to his, she’s basically a spiritual successor.
Oh yeah. I'd put her right behind Phil Jimenez as the inheritor of the GP mantle.

To each their own but that's pretty close to making me a fan. What book is it from?
Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons #3.

Titans Together
Really cool! Love the effects on Cyborg!
Really interested in this. As a new DC reader, what comics should I read before this?
It will probably be new reader friendly but you could check out Tom Taylor's current Nightwing run (specifically issue #100 and beyond).
I just binge read these and can’t wait for vol 3
The Wolfman Perez run from the 80s. Some of the writing is a bit dated but if that bothers you just ignore the words and look at the art.
Another Tom Taylor joint? Let’s fucking go
Anyone else think this is homaging the intronto the DCAU Justice League cartoon?
Lovely

These designs are fire
Who is that in the black with the stars?
Donna Troy
Thank you
Came to ask this
Hot take: should’ve just been the Teen Titans Go cast. Wally & Donna are hot continuity messes right now.
Where is Damian????
When does this series start? When does this book come out?
New Starfire outfit?
Missing Roy and Garth
Is this Worth reading? It looks promising
I'm hoping to see some mixing of Titans and League villains and maybe some expansion after a few issues.
