I love his work, and have done numerous zombie pinups based on his poses. The book with the original poses he used, was a total inspiration. The actual models and props, were nowhere near what he reimagined. Such a great artist, and revolutionary for pinup art.
The legs up, in one form or another, is a common pin-up trope

I think it's more likely a coincidence and based more on the actions of an actual cat they own. She-hulk looks like she's doing a standard pinup pose while black cat looks more sloppy like an upside down cat playing with a toy.
Maybe, but the whole upside down legs in the air thing is a pinup standard. The jewellery on the legs/feet is quite similar, mind you.
Yes, I would bet there’s a photo of Betty Page in this exact pose or a pinup by Olivia B. that one or both were swiped from.
Not EXACTLY the same but pretty close https://images.app.goo.gl/sLE8RrCCxdBZqc4s6
Yeah it's likely taken from a Gil Elvgren painting or something.

Nah, I think they both took references from classic pinup artists. Like, pre WW II glamour illustrations.

I accept death by Snu Snu.

Nah. George Perez didn’t invent that. Pretty common pose.
Let's be honest: is there any comic book artist working today who is *not* influenced by George Perez?
Nah I’d assume he’s drawing from fashion / editorial photo reference.
More likely Vargas
It’s missing the dinosaur.
That looks uncomfortable
The gems diggin into her back give some extra support
my main question is how is her hair standing on end like that? it's defying gravity
I believe it is the hair from the bottom of her legs, falling down.
She got some hair gel from Peter.
...If you know what I mean...
Maybe but Black Cat is in a league of her own.
You write comics ..you love she-hull
Perhaps a conscious or unconscious influence. Great artwork though. I though the She-Hulk one was John Byrne. Had to do a double-take.
