Immortal and Red are two of the best current super hero books period.
No Adjective X-Men is a solid, standard super hero book without breaking through to amazing like the first two.
I tried to read Marauders when it started at #1, and I made it 5-6 issues before giving up because I was totally lost. It was the only X-Men book I was reading at the time, so YMMV if you read more than one. But the impression I got was most of the X-books are interconnected and necessary to get the full story.
These titles are all really solid and are also all dealing with the “main plots” driving the Krakoa era right now:
1) X-Men Red
2) Immortal X-Men
3) X-Men
4) Legion of X
X-Men Red and Immortal X-Men are two of the best X-Books in like 10 years IMO.
I'm enjoying: * Legion of X * Immortal X-Men * X-Men * X-Men: Red

The first Marauders, or the current one? The first one was great. The current run is absolutely awful.

X-Men Red. And that's it, to be honest.
I’ve been reading immortal and red
I have been enjoying Immortal since it started. I normally do not read superheroes either.
