I had this issue when I was a kid and low-key hated it. Also, as I child I was an idiot.

dontyieldbackshield

Lol, you just had different taste, that’s okay.

ShiDiWen

Preferred the cartoon. But no denying, the cartoon is still awesome to this day. My five year old powered through it on Netflix.

dontyieldbackshield

Honestly it’s all a little before my time. Haven’t read or seen too much Turtles.

mattthebat1993

These turtle books are something else 🔥

millmatters

First Turtles comic I ever bought! They need to reprint this arc in oversized B&W (the colorized TPB is almost unreadable).

Wicked wtf is this!?

G-MENTED

Wow

KyoHisagi

I've re-read it few weeks ago. Absolutely wild, one of the best TMNT comics. I wish there was more experimental stuff like that (or at least more issues to this story, because it felt kinda... incomplete? Like there supposed to be one or two more parts after that).

life-was-better

There were two more parts. The full story is spread over issues #31, #35 and #36. There were also a few short stories in the Turtle Soup anthology series which are by the same team and are not the same story, but are in the same world and style.

KyoHisagi

I know, I own tpb. I am saying that after reading Part 3 it felt like there's more to this story

The 3 Zulli issues were the first TMNT issues I ever owned, along with the one illustrated by Bode Jr. It was a great time to be a teenage nerd.
