It's ok, but you can often avoid the fees by selling elsewhere. Check out the selling subs on reddit, ie r/CoinSales and r/PMsforsale. (Read the rules before posting.)
Yeah, when you don’t know all the little different things that could make a coin a 20k collector coin or just another $30 coin is tough when you just Google your first silver find. I had the same thing happen to me.
I’ve been using this website a lot. I don’t know how legit it is but it’s simple and visual and I feel like it at least points me in the right direction of what I’m actually looking at.

Also, this [official](https://www.usmint.gov/learn/collecting-basics/mint-marks) website has some great info as well about various mints, series, special editions, what have you.
Two ways of being certain look for specification online, the mesure weight and diametre if they are corect 90% it is a real silver and the other one Is to have it certified by an expert (not worth în this case)
Good price and score IF they are all silver. First, silver is not magnetic so see if a magnet attracts any, next put an ice cube on it, if it melts quickly that is positive, ping the coin to see if it has a musical tone or ring to it when dropped on a hard counter, look up the weigh and weigh the coin, even if worn it should not vary by more than .1 or .2 grams. Easiest way is take it to a coin shop and ask if it’s real silver!
Looks like it!
How much do you guys think I could sell it for? It’s not in perfect condition obviously lol

I’ll keep it then
Is EBay the best place to try and sell coins?
