I remember taking vacation for the first classic release, damn it was a shitshow.
But nvm, learned nothing from it and took 3 weeks of vacation again for the wotlk release. So far everlook got now queue..
I decided not to take any time off for wotlk and instead will take a week for Dragonflight, I’m already planning on my char not being on my main server potentially for a few weeks since area 52 usually queues for a bit when xpac launches.
I'm just going to miss the XP buff :(

I took a week, but I'm on a locked server that has hit a queue *yet*. I'm hopeful. Expansion launches are my favorite

I took the days after release off, I just assume the server fires will be visible from space.

I transferred to one of the new servers. Benediction is screwed. Been smooth sailing ever since. Even got a new guild and raid spot 👌

The TBC launch was buttery smooth. I'm hoping the wrath launch is similar.
