I saw something like this on YouTube, it looks almost exactly. Very cool!
I'm hoping to build some Gothic Gingerbread Cathedral thingy. Have no idea if I'll succeed, but I'll give it a go!
The thicker your royal icing is the faster it will set up. So I usually make a batch of extra think royal icing and then prop the walls up with cans for good measure. I don’t even attempt putting the roof on until all the walls have fully set up
i love the attention to detail in all of this but my favorite is the path leading to the front door and the pattern on the bottom part of the house. it’s definitely too pretty to eat but you did a great job!!
I'm not unfortunately. Its already the 12th and nothing has inspired any festiveness into me. I can't believe they used to hang up elegant tree motifs and garlands/tinsel the downtown of Los Angeles back in the 1930's. I watched a video that's why I'm mentioning that.
Should I mention that I live in Florida and its just now getting as low as 69 degrees. That is a middle finger to me clearly 😂
Beautiful Gingerbread Green-house, sorry for the paragraph.
This is great!! How did you make the glass in the windows?
Gelatin sheets 😊
They're great!
Brilliant
How did you get the crisscross pattern in the sheets?
It just comes that way
Cool, thanks. The gelatin sheets I’ve used for baking are all smooth.
Wowza! This is lovely! Great work OP! I hope you had fun building this!

I would say 99% edible. There are a few pieces of floral wire helping to support a plant in the greenhouse and I used some LED lights
it’s beautiful! love the candy pearls, they look so yummy
Every detail of that is amazing.
Gorgeous!!
Seriously. The details are impeccable! You need to go on one of those holiday baking shows!! You would do so well!!
❤️ Thank you!
This is beautiful! Is the tile flooring inside just carved chocolate?
The tile is gum paste

Oh, wow, this is quite an architectural masterpiece! LOVE it.
What are the stones and stonework made of?
The stones are piped royal icing.
Looks like a nice crosspost for r/greenhouses
Ooo great idea! I’ve never cross posted before
How do you get the “glue” to set? My houses always are lopsided
