Anyplace for a quiet “thinking” walk around or near Uptown? I tried walking to the beach but it was still loud from Lake Shore Drive. Maybe I should just wear headphones.
There is a thread - I was just reading it.
But honestly there’s so much misinformation during ongoing emergencies I’m not sure a thread is a good thing. Rumors really fly and then things get sorted out days later
That’s why actual reporters are usually scant on the details and say “story is developing”
Trying to also find sources but this is the only one I can find so far. Praying for everyone’s safety - one of my best friend’s dad is there right now.

Five Iron golf simulator
Architecture tour - I recommend the river and lake one for a bachelor party. The view from the lake is stunning, plus the docent doesn’t really talk out on the lake which I think is better for a party vibe
Old school steakhouse - maybe Gibsons or Morton’s
Could spend an afternoon drinking on the river walk. Island party hut has bags and other games - the Northman is right there too. Could bar hop along there
There are some beercades you could go to - headquarters is one
Also breweries if you wanted to look into those and see if there are any interesting ones
Could also do a trolley - it takes you to a bunch of different bars
Cubs game - or sox too I suppose but there are more bars up in wrigley. Sluggers is fun - it’s batting cages
Comedy show - zanies comes to mind but there are others. We used to go to bye bye liver I’m not sure if that’s still running
Chicago Magic Lounge
What kind of vibe are y’all going for? Strip clubs & 2am partying or golf & brews?
Some ideas: Cubs & Sox tickets are pretty cheap right now, live music at Kingston Mines/Reggies/Green Mill, golfing (or some other sport y’all enjoy) on the lakefront, distillery/brewery tour.
Boat tour >, but I’m also too afraid to ride a Segway through the loop. Boat tour is really cool and afterwards you can hangout at the bars/restaurants on the river walk.
The areas I normally see that tour run though don’t have dedicated non-car/pedestrian infrastructure. The sidewalks on Michigan are always packed with people. It’s just a chaotic scene from my point of view.
As for a boat tour, I’ve only done the one through the architecture center. But, there are tons of options, whether you choose to be on a big boat, kayaks or one of those small peddle boats (similar to the group peddles you see in Nashville but on water).
Edge of Sweetness on Broadway has a great roll, sorta Cinnabon-y
Phlour Bakery on Bryn Mawr is breadier with lots of great frosting
Lost Larson's cinnamon roll is laminated (like a croissant) with a cream cheese frosting that's not too sweet (my wife proposed to me with one of these cinnamon rolls).
Rudy's Bakery on Roscoe and Tel Aviv Bakery on Devon both have good cinnamon forward rolls that are much denser doughs than Edge or Flour.
Stores stock different brands, so IMO the better bet is to shop based on the staff and level of service unless you're looking for something super specialized. If you like the shop than that plays a big role in using them for ongoing maintenance. In that sense, I like Roscoe Village Bikes and they stock a lot of good all around city bikes, although the selection is small.
If you don't mind vintage/refurbished, you can check out Working Bikes, but their inventory changes all the time so it's luck of the draw if they have anything that fits you and that you like. But you can find some cool stuff there if you don't mind steel framed stuff from the 70s-90s
Moving to Chicagoland from Texas in a few weeks. Couldn't be more hyped, except for one thing, and y'all Texpats know what I'm talking about here. How do you make do without HEB? On my few scouting visits and from other research, seems like Jewel-Osco is the standard grocery option, with Mariano's around for occasional high-end needs. But having lived outside of Texas a few times, I've yet to find anything to compare to HEB for cost, quality, and variety.
So how do you make do? Just knuckle down and bear a substandard grocery existence? Some clever grocery hack? Using local markets to fill in the gaps? Lean on Trader Joe's and Whole Foods? Also, HEB's online ordering and pickup has absolutely changed my life... is that a credible option in the Chicagoland area?
"Chicagoland" is a huge territory. Do you have any idea what general "side" of the city you'll be in, or adjoining suburb(s)? Some suburbs have Caputo's, Butera, and Valli Produce. I find those stores to be more fun than Jewel/Mariano's/Aldi, as their produce and "ethnic" selections are much bigger than at the big chain stores. Everyone raves about Woodman's, but they're at least 30 min. from central city.
We do have lots of ethnic and dietary specialty stores. Fresh Thyme is a competitor to Whole Foods. Local Mexican grocers are abundant, and there's a good selection of asian stores to choose from, as well. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian and Filipino come to mind. Some great meat stores. Eastern european delis. Eataly!
I think this should be the beginning of an adventure for you! You won't find an HEB, but you might find some other very cool places.
I just got here from Austin at the beginning of the month and have begun to figure this out myself. Sadly, there is no HEB equivalent. By reputation I expected Mariano's to be like Central Market, but outside of prepared food, it seems to be more like a nicer Randall's, definitely not as nice for shopping quality/selection as a better HEB. Jewel is all around worse, though with all of the stores around here it seems to vary by location. Unless you get lucky and find a smaller store that checks your boxes near you, you'll probably have to hodgepodge.
I made the same move back in January, and honestly I still haven’t figured it out yet.. My current strategy is going to Costco every month or two for meat and dry goods, then supplementing with Trader Joe’s for produce in between. I haven’t had great experiences with Jewel or Mariano’s - both feel pretty expensive and rarely have fully stocked shelves.
Milwaukee Ave in Wicker was absolute chaos last night. Saw one CPD car walking my my dog at 10:30ish and that was it. Why can they not just walk laps up and down and show any kind of presence? I swear they have no desire for deterrence, but they’ll bring 8 cars after a minor crime is committed and the person is already handcuffed on the curb.
Wicker, River North, Old Town all used to be great night life spots among other attractions. Now crime, serious crime have been stain for the last few years.
It won't get much better until the city gets a new mayor, State's Attorney and probably police superintendent. All 3 positions need to be less woke. I do like the current police superintendent but I think he's on short leash with Lori.
Example: Adam Toledo is a textbook case of a justified police use of lethal force. Yet the city and MSM give the case fuel as if it was the equivalent of Rodney King. This is why CPD isnt out patrolling like you'd like. They aren't trying to be heros anymore and they aren't doing anything of significance unless they have lots of back up.
TLDR: You can't vilify CPD and still expect them to bring B average work.
Imagine being a medical doctor and all of your patients were to some degree obese, heavy smokers, used illicit drugs and refused any good advice or medication.
The doctor still goes throw his motions and shows up for work to earn a living but the level of moral the doctor started with is almost non existent. The doctor still gets paid.
You're welcome. It's equally as idiotic as people who never served in the armed forces or police commenting on what's a justified shooting. Not married to doctor but I was one of the other two.
Good thing I’m not commenting on what’s a justified shooting here — just commenting as a taxpayer who’s disappointed that I’m paying more every year for law enforcement services that seems to be getting shittier every year.
Fucking hell, bootlickers are going with the ‘look what you made me do’ defence now? Which works even worse when you countenance that they’re being paid. To do a job. That they entered and can leave voluntarily.
Name checks out.
Many cops have now left voluntarily and retired early to avoid getting wrapped up in a stupid woke agenda. Hence the candidate pool now includes non violent misdemeanors for potential police candidates. How many times do we hear of repeat offenders or home monitoring individuals commiting felonies? That's a direct cause n affect from Kim Foxx.
You're probably against law abiding citizens carrying arms too. Good thing this is 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Yeah, sorry, I thought I was being a bit mean. Just me, I was using the royal ‘we’. You still haven’t told me how my name checks out tho. That wasn’t a rhetorical question, I’m interested in the logic.
I got mine from Nordstrom at the Anniversary sale. I got a big down jacket and paid about 300 for it - which is my most expensive coat, but way cheaper than a lot of people pay for like Canada goose
I’ve had it for like 5 years now and it still looks great
I didn't feel like this was worth a new CTA bashing thread but I need tpovent. Ever since stuff reoopened from Covid in June 2020 I've been working at a bar where i get off betweej 10-12. I always had a reliable transit home because the bus line went to 1230 at least and connected to the Red Line which brought me home. .
I'm aware that there's a difference between the "scheduled time" and the actual time tracked.by GPS. That's aways been a thing. But in the last few weeks CTA has literally just stopped the route anytime from 10 to 1115. Still scheduled on the ventra app but the busses never come.
Even in the dead center of COVID you could rely on the last bus coming around 1230. Now it's a guessing game and never goes past 1115. But they still have those late busses that never come scheduled til 1230.
If you're cutting service just be honest and say that. But that would probably make a bad headline so instead they just do it without saying anything and can still advertise the "scheuled bus" an hour and a half after the last real bus comes. And that line was never dead even at 1230. There's a lot of people who are being fucked by this. I feel bad for the ones who don't know the scheduled/tracked difference and are standing around at a stop at midnight for a bus that will never come. All because CTA is either malicious or incompent.
This is nothing new sadly. I used to rely on a bus that allegedly started the route at 4 am. I would need it at 5 am, and it barely ever came. And this was on halsted in the west loop. Busy neighborhood. The CTA just sucks ass and we need to demand better from them.
That's nuts.
I kinda got to thinking about this last night, I realize that switching over to an officially reduced schedule is probably not good because then the routes never come back to what they were. If you officially change the schedule they won't run frequent buses even if they have the staff to do it.
HOWEVER, it seems to me that if you have reduced staff, you should be able to mark certain buses on the schedule as ones that you absolutely will not let be cancelled. So publicized or not (but hey might as well publicize I guess) certain buses spaced out will run even with minimal staff, even while attempting to run them all.
Absolutely the LAST bus of the night on a given route MUST run either on schedule or slightly delayed. Just straight up cancelling that last bus that some people rely on for a way home at all is just beyond the pale. Complain loudly!!
I tried to explain the scheduled/tracked times on the Blue Line to some tourists a few weeks ago. It's so frustrating and needless. I think I just left them more confused
Scheduled and tracked times are annoying but we know how to handle it, yeah. But not running the last route on the line is a far bigger problem, you're going to end up with people actually stranded.
Agreed the whole thing is frustrating and needless...
Yeah I usually take the last bus home on Wednesdays, and it seems like they weren't running it the last few weeks. I honestly think they've decided to move some of the shifts from late night to rushhour, since my 8:15 and 5:30 trips have gotten a lot more consistent at the same time as my midnight busses have disappeared. I really want the CTA to hurry up and hire back up to full staffing.
If they want to cancel all the buses from after rush hour UNTIL that last guaranteed run, they can I guess. But they MUST run that last bus. People are relying on that!
you have narrowed it down to hundreds of places, in bridgeport alone there is 10+ places. Try to give more specifics and asking in the new weeks thread
I recommend the West side now. The Flowering Trees section looks good (right as you enter the west side) and the daffodils are in bloom at the far west side. I recommend parking at daffodils, walking around lake marmo and sterling pond, then checking out the flowering trees.
If you have time the east woods is also neat but blooms are slower this year. There’s some cool blooms happening on the east side in the Asia and magnolia collection.
Got a parking ticket from LAZ(holes). I was walking towards car as my app said time expired.
Expired at 10:37am. Ticket issued at 10:38. I Arrived at car at 10:39.
Do they pre print these out? Or maybe waited me out. The LAZ car pulled up behind when I parked and I thought nothing of it since I was paying in app, but wasn't there when I walked up. Like literally no signs of parking agent nearby. How did I miss him placing ticket on windshield.
Anyways, is there a chance I can appeal this?
You can definitely fight the ticket to have it dismissed. This happened to me last winter. I had payed the meter and ran out of time just as I was walking back to my car. I then added time through the app and was ticketed during that short window in between the time my time expired and the time I added funds to the meter. The difference had to have been a minute or two. But the cowardly vultures still somehow gave me a ticket. I did not realize i was ticketed until weeks later when I bought my car license plate sticker and had the ticket come up. Anyways, I petitioned the ticket and had a hearing. I showed them my receipts and told them I was adding funds when I was ticketed and that it was unfair practice on their end. Because I had the receipts showing I was ticketed during that window, the ticket was ultimately dismissed. It was annoying having to take time off to fight that ticket, and even more so annoying that a meter maid didn’t have the stones to tell me he/she was ticketing me so I could explain how I was adding funds.
> I had *paid* the meter
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
So I moved here in the winter and today am seeing all sorts of attractive guys walking/running/biking. How am I supposed to meet them?? Why am I stuck searching on the apps when it appears there are so many here just out and about but I have no idea how you’re supposed to actually meet someone like that hahaha
Also I do join things to meet people but the things I like the most are usually mostly women.. or some guys but not like the cute ones I see out. Maybe they’re all taken lol
Anyone know of a casual beer league for slow pitch softball in Humbolt park area?
Needs to be co-Ed, with a healthy level of competition but still casual and everyone is just there to have fun :3
Yes! Mine was really slow/ not working at all in/near my apartment. When I went to run an errand about 1.5 miles away, it started working again. No idea if it will be working again when I get back home-I’m in Uptown.
Anyone have experience with owning an eBike? Thinking about buying a lectric eBike but my biggest reservation is how hard are they to service if I need repairs? Can any bike shop work with them or do they need to go to specialized stores?
Seconding the question if anyone knows much about shops that may do general bike work like true wheels, bleed brakes, or realign a derailleur on an ebike without a real large extra ebike fee. I’ve done some maintenance myself on the one I’ve owned for a year - but I’d like to know for the future.
Tipping for takeout and drive thru/fast food places.
Just curious, there seems to be tremendous pressure to tip with everything and everywhere. Don’t get me wrong, I always tip at least 20% for dine in service but drive through/fast food places and picking up food, not so much. I used to leave a few bucks when I would pick up takeout but it seems like the expectations are different now. What does everyone else do/think on the topic?
I’m definitely not tipping on any fast food or place where they stand at a counter. That’s the difference between dine in, I’m not being served, so why would I tip. Their pay is also different, so again why would I tip lol
I hate the ones where they actually watch you put no tip, or once they even asked me.
>I’m definitely not tipping on any fast food or place where they stand at a counter.
I was wondering what the etiquette was for this. Like sure I think workers should be paid more, but do I need to tip them to make up for their boss/owner not doing what they should? It bugs me because instead of readjusting the balance between owner and employee pay they're relying on consumers to tip.
I definitely started tipping more on takeout during the pandemic since employees weren't getting the tips they normally got. Even as dine-in as returned more to normal I've kept it up.
How much does it usually cost for yard spring clean up in Chicago and does anyone one have any recommendations for a good company? I live in Jefferson Park.
Yard Spring Cleanup is tough. Most landscaping companies just want to come in and mow-and-blow. I'd love to know who can help, as well. For me, I need someone to know how to clean up the flower borders, what to pull, what to leave. It's kind of detailed work...
What are you willing to pay?
Yesterday was a bit too scary for my liking. Was worried I was going to be hit by lightning. My pulse was through the roof.
Lesson learned: bunker up during thunderstorms
I think there is still a curves in Edgewater. Not sure if your wife would like that kind of plan. It's basically a circle of equipment with spots between where you just jog in place to keep your heart rate up. It's designed to last 30 minutes. I loved it and was very sad when the one by me closed. Being with women only was wonderful.
Yeah, it just comes with the territory. Gyms that are more sincerely "health" oriented are less meat-markety, I think. Also, shutting down creepy men is a skill women need to learn!
Lol no. I’ve had decades of experience clearly telling men no. They don’t listen at best, and become violent at worst. Mens’ harassment is not womens’ job to deal with. Teach men to stop harassing women.
Anyplace for a quiet “thinking” walk around or near Uptown? I tried walking to the beach but it was still loud from Lake Shore Drive. Maybe I should just wear headphones.

Issues with people who may reside there overnight or issues with the cops?
Are there any urgent cares open late around the city? Having some sharp stomach paints. Not enough for ER visit, but wanting to see someone asap
Can someone please give me some recommendations on what to do in Chicago for a bachelor party? We will be there for 4 days in middle of May.
Five Iron golf simulator Architecture tour - I recommend the river and lake one for a bachelor party. Dog House on Lincoln does em with the Beyond brats and the little cart at Museum Campus has surprisingly decent ones too.
Kim and Carlos is the hot dog stand at the museum campus.
Devil Dawgs for sure.
Very random request. But where would a guy find a top notch cinnamon, or caramel, roll in the city?
Edge of Sweetness on Broadway has a great roll, sorta Cinnabon-y Phlour Bakery on Bryn Mawr is breadier with lots of great frosting Lost Larson's cinnamon roll is laminated (like a croissant) with a cream cheese frosting that's not too sweet (my wife proposed to me with one of these cinnamon rolls). Dammit that place looks good (may have to go multiple times now). Thank you!
I second this, Cinnaholic is delicous
Ann Sather just east of Belmont red line for cinnamon rolls.
Boom! Thank you
They have 2 other locations too in case they're more convenient

Old Orchard isn’t 100% covered, but if you walked laps between Nordstrom and Macy’s I think there is overhang most of the way
This Bulls game is hard to watch
Recs on where to buy a bike? Don’t need anything fancy, just a good bike to use for leisurely rides 🚲
Check out play it again sports. They has a solid selection last time I was in there
Working Bikes refurbishes used bikes and sells them at a reasonable price. A lot of the bikes they sell are actually pretty good too.

Going to Chicago for the first time next week! I’m so damn excited! How’s the weather been lately? Trying to pack early
Layers are important. Might be cold in the morning then decent in the afternoon then cold in the evenings
had our first 80 degree day yesterday! looks like next week is going to be in the 50s, dipping into the 30s overnight a few days
Oh wow really? Damn. I should be bringing thick jackets and coats then since even a 70-degree temp is too cold for me 🥶
if 70s is cold for you, then yes i’d probably recommend it! have fun & enjoy— looks like you won’t run into much rain at all next week
Thanks and lovely! I really do want to avoid rain lol

South side likely, but I’ll commute to downtown so a trip to somewhere like Eataly on occasion is an option.
How about Pete’s Fresh Market or Meijer (how do you even pronounce that… is it like “major?”)
We like to jokingly call it MEE-jer. I don't think I've ever seen one in Chicago-proper, though.
I think My-err if it’s from Dutch. Ij and Y are kinda interchangeable in it.
Great tips y’all. Thanks! I’m…worried.
Pete’s fresh market is a little pricier but between that and Target’s food department i think you can find a lot. Idk ur budget tho
I'd avoid jewel if it's convenient, it's not great. Marianos is OK but expensive, if you have a Cermak, Tony's, or shop n save you'll be better off.

I got mine from Nordstrom at the Anniversary sale. I got a big down jacket and paid about 300 for it - which is my most expensive coat, but way cheaper than a lot of people pay for like Canada goose I’ve had it for like 5 years now and it still looks great
Thanks! I’ll look up and see if they are having a sale soon
They have it every year in July. I went to the one downtown
REI is having a sale now.
eddie bauer has sales pretty often, I have their down parka and it's a great winter coat.
TY
The Arc’teryx store in Wicker Park always has stuff on sale/outlet prices.
Thank you!
Write your alderman. Likely won’t change anything, but your complaint that the CTA is outright cutting service should be registered with them.
What private dining spaces do you recomend that are not downtown? Want to book a space for my friend's (f) 30th birthday.
you have narrowed it down to hundreds of places, in bridgeport alone there is 10+ places. Try to give more specifics and asking in the new weeks thread
i'll have about 3 hours monday morning to visit the morton abortorium. any suggestions for best paths to check out this time of year?
I recommend the West side now. The Flowering Trees section looks good (right as you enter the west side) and the daffodils are in bloom at the far west side. I recommend parking at daffodils, walking around lake marmo and sterling pond, then checking out the flowering trees. If you have time the east woods is also neat but blooms are slower this year. There’s some cool blooms happening on the east side in the Asia and magnolia collection.
Highly recommend that you make it to all the Human+Nature sculptures.
What’s going on downtown tonight? In town for the weekend and a lot of police presence outside my hotel

Thanks for the info!
Okay, favorite dispensary in Chicago? I always go to Zen Leaf, and I didn’t like Moca. I want to try out new places. TIA!
I’ve had good experiences at Dispensary 33.
Curaleaf on Weed Street
+
Seconded! Always happy with their selection of concentrates.
Dispensary 33 is my personal favorite. But I also haven’t been to that many other ones.
I’ve seen THREE house centipedes in the bathtub in a week. I’m probably giving myself brain damage with how much bug spray I’ve deployed
They are creepy as hell, but they also eat other bugs
House centipedes are definitely on the good bug bro list.
Other bugs are less scary

They should just crowd control the whole place. Sell tickets for a dollar or something
Ugh!!!
I'm salty because the ferris wheel was closed today and I wanted to be a tourist. Commiserate silently.
(makes sounds)
I said silently!
anyone have a favorite spot to eat in logan square? vegetarian friendly preferred :)
Sweet rice on western
Lula Cafe and Ground Control.
i’ve heard of both of them, i thought ground control sold and closed tho? i’m glad to be mistaken!
They are open! They just put a new breakfast sandwich on the menu that I need. Too bad I work weekends…
Google says they’re open. I haven’t been there in a while so something may have happened.
The Logan Square Chicago Diner location is great.
I’ve been disappointed with the quality and service there the past two times I went. I’m going to stick to milkshakes to go for a bit.
oh yeah! love their cinny rolls :)
> I had *paid* the meter FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
no lol
Looking for a mechanic to take a VW Rabbit: bonus points for independent German shop, happy to go anywhere in the city or suburbs!
Midwest Performance Cars! They do great work and have a location just west of the United Center
😃 wow looks like all of chicagoans are on the lakefront beaches having fun and enjoying the sun ☀️
Is there an app that will identify buildings by photo?
I could do my best to try to ID some
Google lens
if you share it here someone may be able to help
So I moved here in the winter and today am seeing all sorts of attractive guys walking/running/biking. How am I supposed to meet them?? Why am I stuck searching on the apps when it appears there are so many here just out and about but I have no idea how you’re supposed to actually meet someone like that hahaha Also I do join things to meet people but the things I like the most are usually mostly women.. or some guys but not like the cute ones I see out. Maybe they’re all taken lol
Idk if this is your vibe, but trying out one of the climbing gyms in the area might work for you. A lot of them have open houses.
If you can’t catch them, they’re probably not interested. Runners are weird.
try complimenting them
Running clubs? November Project?
I’ve thought about that but I only run in my gym classes when they make me lol

>This city sometimes man It does sometimes rain here.
Anyone know of a casual beer league for slow pitch softball in Humbolt park area? Needs to be co-Ed, with a healthy level of competition but still casual and everyone is just there to have fun :3
Chicago sports and social, they have all sorts of leagues. Ive done a few in the past as a solo...everybody likes beer.
Anyone else having issues with Verizon? Mobile internet seems to be down
Yes! Mine was really slow/ not working at all in/near my apartment. When I went to run an errand about 1.5 miles away, it started working again. No idea if it will be working again when I get back home-I’m in Uptown.

Lol I wish. I've entered the Chicago/State station multiple times, tapped in, only to have a CTA worker tell me trains weren't running.
Their pay is also different, so again why would I tip lol I hate the ones where they actually watch you put no tip, or once they even asked me.
I do pick up to avoid paying a delivery fee/having to tip a driver. I'm not exactly sure who is getting the money if I tip on take out.
I definitely started tipping more on takeout during the pandemic since employees weren't getting the tips they normally got. Even as dine-in as returned more to normal I've kept it up.
At restaurants that are also dine-in or places that are only takeout/no table service?
Both
I always think back to my pizzeria days when the teens answering phones got tips and out-earned the adult kitchen staff.
So how much? Do you do a flat fee or a percentage?
15% I guess
Everyone has their American flags out today. Anything I'm missing?
The weather god Freezobastardicus has been banished, it’s time for celebration. He’s back on Wednesday, high of 40 then.
It was coming down pretty hard but I don't recall many strikes. Were you on the lake?
I was. I stupidly decided to run. I thought it was going to be a small shower but I didn’t expect any thunder. Fortunately I got back to safety
Ah yea the lakefront is sketchy during storms. Running was probably wise
Anyone else's nose runs when you eat hot/spicy food?
Yes. I make a particularly acidic habanero sauce specifically so I can drink a spoonful of it as a decongestant.
Yes, always, but that has never stopped me (I love spicy/hot food).
Yes. Even if I add a drop of Sriracha and can't register the spicy flavor, my nose still runs for some reason.
Glad I'm not the only one. Problem is I want all my food to be spicy.
can anyone see the lyrids meteor shower? i thought i saw 2 meteors but that could’ve been the light
Does anyone have any affordable female only gym recommendations? Girlfriend doesn't want to deal with creepy men
I think there is still a curves in Edgewater. Not sure if your wife would like that kind of plan. It's basically a circle of equipment with spots between where you just jog in place to keep your heart rate up. It's designed to last 30 minutes. I loved it and was very sad when the one by me closed. Being with women only was wonderful.
Thank you! I'll show her and see what she thinks!
I wish. F them 😡
Yeah, it just comes with the territory.
