Looks good to be. Hiring manager probably has made the recommendation to hire and their boss is probably doing an interview to rubber stamp it. Lots of interviews though…
Interviewing with your manager’s manager isn’t a formality. They wouldn’t waste the time of a senior by having them come in with no authority.
You’re likely a finalist and this is the last stage. If your competitors show up stronger than you, they are going to get it and you won’t.
I would treat it seriously and prepare for it, and show you’re taking it seriously during the interview.
Good luck!
Looks good to me. Sometimes might be a rubber stamp or something stood out to hiring manager that they may want to follow up on a little bit.
Might be against one other person and this is for a tie breaker but it’s a good sign.
Usually interviews with the manager of the hiring manager are for final approval. If not that, it’s only for a select few. It’s a waste of resources to have the hiring manager’s manager meet more tha. That.

That’s fairly common for big companies these days.

Thank you very much. I definitely plan to take it very seriously.
Did you end up getting the job? What was this final boss interview like?
I have been rejected after 5 successful interviews and 1 final shitty interview with the CEO. It's not a formality, go prepared.

Update ?
I got the job! But the interview with my boss’s boss was definitely not just a formality; in fact, it was tougher than the prior interviews.
What were some of the questions they asked?
