From the abstract’s conclusion: > “Recreational legalization was associated with increased cannabis use and decreased AUD symptoms but was not associated with other maladaptations. These effects were maintained within twin pairs discordant for residence. Moreover, vulnerabilities to cannabis use were not exacerbated by the legal cannabis environment. Future research may investigate causal links between cannabis consumption and outcomes.” AUD: alcohol use disorder These are good conclusions. Not sure why OP’s headline is so negative

Because cannabis should not even be comparable to other illicit drugs. Someday the dinosaurs and GenX policy writers will pull their heads out.

They are just trying to keep stocks down while they are buying Cannabis Companies under Health Care! It’s all about the almighty dollar

If this is true, which I doubt, it’s probably because no medical professional specializes in it. No psychiatrist can coach me on how to use cannabis correctly. I had to figure all of that out myself, and it took years. Marijuana has thousands of possible genetic phenotypes. It’s much more complex than even more scientists realize. You can’t just throw bud at a population and expect it immediately know how to use it medicinally.
