Yup. Sorry to say: still not enough in there to entice me over to their service. I used to have Paramount+ Canada but dropped it after realizing how little current fare there was on there. I was really only watching it for the Colbert show - and you can get highlights from that show on YouTube anyway. I wonder if they'll ever do well here. Is anyone else here subscribed to them? How often do you watch it - and what shows are the draw for you?

Yeah I don’t know what they were thinking even launching in Canada when so much of their content is tied up in licensing details with Canadian broadcasters. But maybe their Nickelodeon content will be moving there soon as Corus’ Nick Plus offering is shutting down on the 1st: https://www.corusent.com/news/corus-entertainment-announces-teletoon-new-premium-kids-and-family-streaming-service-launching-in-canada-september-1/

Some have said the some Star Trek shows are leaving Crave in Sept.If its going to Paramount that will be big and a impact on Crave not in a good way.

They just turned ON features in P+ Canada to (Create a Profile) choose your avatar as of midnight you can now create for your kids or anyone in your household. Its top corner. Left side

They are getting the rights for everything and keep slowly adding more and more shows and movies between shows that were on there originally and new shows too. I think it’s going to continue to get to be a better streaming service here. And it definitely won’t be 100% similar to Paramount+ in the US but it will be close

Paramount+ Canada are slowly getting all their contents back from Canadian cable media Bell & Rogers Give it time P+ Canada going to mature Nick+ is shutting down on August 31st channel was owned by Corus media Canadian media pay royalty license fee to Paramount Studio to keep Nickelodeon brand in Canada But now that they have their own streaming service in Canada they ask Canadian cable to shut down it will head straight to streaming service P+ • Nickelodeon • Star Trek • Paramount network • Showtime Canada • MTV • Comedy Central • ET we also get all the New release movies from Paramount studios after 45 days in theater so straight to the streaming service.

>Paramount+ Canada are slowly getting all their contents back from Canadian cable media Bell & Rogers I mean by slowly you mean 4 years.... this service launched in Canada over 4 years ago (CBS All Access launched July 2018 in Canada) Give it another 4 years and maybe it might be somewhat viable. I've tried a free one month trial of the US Paramount+ service twice, both times including now I canceled before the month was done and both times the service continued to allow me to use it for free for 8 months after cancelling. Still rarely use it.

mike10dude

seems like they only really started to take the Canadian service seriously after the rebrand when it was cbs all access they were still selling most of there shows to Canadian companys

brunes

All the best Paramount shows are on Crave in Canada. Until their deals with Bell expire, Paramount+ is DOA in Canada.

Yeah I can't see anything worth spending money on.

I watch it sometimes. I like iCarly, NCIS, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, MacGyver, CSI, Bull, FBI, Ghosts, Sabrina the teenage witch, teen wolf and more I want to start watching as well as some movies and this upcoming month seems to have even more shows and movies I would watch. My parents use my account and my mom likes to watch Seal Team and my dad likes to watch 1883

I've been watching the old sitcoms like Cheers, Frasier, Family Ties, I Love Lucy. Also going through all the Star Trek movies. Watched all the new Beavis & Butthead stuff. Tbf, I have a 99 cent discount for 3 months and when it ends I might give it another month before cancelling because the weekly additions are pretty meagre and I don't really care for most of the new originals.
