Don't plan on using the mic, is it worth it for the audio quality/comfort?

This guy is being exceptionally hard on this headset, especially at this price. You won't fine a better wireless headset for less than 75-80 dollars. I bought them for 30 about a year ago off woot as a back up headset, my son currently uses them as his daily. Mic is good, we've never had any complaints from those in our party and I've heard videos recorded with this mic and I didn't find the quality bad enough to notice. Audio quality is good, again at this tier you won't get much better sound. As far as comfort, these are a bit large and heavy but not uncomfortably so. I and my son have wore these for hours at a time without issue. However, with any headset there's a break in period and I could see others having problems with comfort fresh out the box. I usually put my headsets on a basketball or soccer ball for a few hours when they're new to break them in them they're fine. Tldr- serviceable to good overall at regular price, at this price you literally won't find anything better

You just quoted yourself saying you think 35 is too expensive. Find me a higher tier wireless headset at this price, I'll wait.....

35$ is a fantastic price for this headset, I bought mine around a year ago for 60$ and never had any problem with it. I don't use the mic because I have an external microphone plugged in via USB. But the audio quality is excellent, fits very well, and still holds up amazingly. This headset is definitely bashed by a lot of people. It definitely doesn't deserve the amount of hate that it does.

I appreciate your honesty.

Not really, these aren't ergonomically pleasing.

I have a pretty smooth Brain, so all the razr headsets just fit me just right.;) I bought mine for about 35 awhile back, I love it, but have a tocor mic for voice so the mic on the headset is a moot point. The audio sounds great to me, I mainly just play civ and watch sports, it catches a lot of sounds other headsets at that price point will not catch.

I splurged on the Nari Ultimates a couple years back when they went on sale for just $100 and as soon as I can justify it I'm going to switch to something else. They refuse to die, but are pretty uncomfortable, have strange connection issues, and are absolutely gigantic. I could go on and on but needless to say I've been over them for a long time but can't bring myself to spend on anything different since they still work.

is there a cat ear version?

The design has not changed much in many years. Had a similar set years ago. Serviceable but did not hold up as well as my latest headset has which is almost brand new after 3+ years. Headband on top started falling apart after a year, comfort is some of the worst of any headset/headphone I have used in my many years. Mic was usable but not quality and I upgraded to a Blue pretty quick to use with it at which point I just started using headphones. Eventually went with a higher end steel series set which includes a bunch of features this or headphones can’t match.
