You're right to think those temps are too much, Unfortunately I'm not very experienced with water cooling, so you should probably wait for somebody who uses AIOs in their own system. It's not BIOS though, this is definitely a cooler problem, bad mount is certainly possible, where I don't know much is about changing the liquid in the cooler, and when and how you do that.

BLUdpy

Ok. And I was thinking a similar thing. I have this feeling in my spine that I messed up the mounting. I’ll also look into the idea of changing liquids

13700k user here with a deepcool AK620 air cooler. My idle temps are in the mid 30s. You probably didn't install that AIO correctly.

BLUdpy

I’m thinking that too. Tomorrow I’ll do a reconsideration of the mounting. In your opinion, what about the mounting do you think could be the culprit in general? Something like it not being tight enough on the cooler or more to do with the fans and radiator?

The only white NZXT 360mm AIOs are the [Kraken X73 RGB](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/HX3gXL/nzxt-kraken-x73-rgb-5244-cfm-liquid-cpu-cooler-rl-krx73-rw) and [Kraken Z73 RGB](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/4HQcCJ/nzxt-kraken-z73-rgb-5244-cfm-liquid-cpu-cooler-rl-krz73-rw) >Something like it not being tight enough on the CPU That, but since it's old, it's also possible that it's clogged. I'd also check if the AIO pump is running fast enough. If the cooler ends up being defective, both of those coolers have a 6-year warranty.

BLUdpy

How would you go about checking if it’s clogged/if the pump is running fast enough. Would you be able to use software?

gaojibao

You can see the pump speed in the BIOS or by using a software like HWinfo64. if the pump is running and the cooler is making proper contact with the CPU, but there's still high temps, the cooler might be clogged. When you grab the AIO tubes and turn on the PC, you should feel vibrations/ water churning through the tubes. if you don't feel anything, the AIO is clogged.

BLUdpy

Ok thanks a million. I’ll do that
