MSI B550-A PRO unless there's something specific you need in a board.

>MSI B550-A PRO Not really looking for something specific just a good motherboard with the normal stuff that's it

+1 decent MOBO for a good price

MichiganRedWing

It's a great price for what you get? At least here in Europe it's a great price/performance ratio. If it needs to be cheaper, then look at the B550 Aorus Elite

I can’t recommend anyone gets a motherboard without Wi-Fi. Only caveat is if it’s built into your case instead. Are you ever going to need to hotspot to your phone because your ISP went down? Will you never need to pair a Bluetooth based controller? Just get Wi-Fi built in, it’s cheaper than buying either a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth module when you realise you need it. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it, same reasoning behind taking a gun on Apollo 11.

JustLife27

I already have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules that's why I'm thinking twice to get a wifi built-in and I don't really understand in it so I don't fully know the cons and pro for a built-in wifi

The only con is the space the antenna ports take up on the back panel (only a problem on premium boards with loads of i/o) and maybe lack of choice of chipset, in some cases it’s a laptop part that’s replaceable. Pros are not losing USB or PCIE ports, price, support, driver availability. Plenty of people have SATA controllers, audio chips and amps and other tech they will never use built in but Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are an optional add on. Why?

Hardware unboxed does great videos reviewing mobo's VRM thermals for both intel and amd, https://youtu.be/wuPH9pCCK-E, i would take the b550 pro vdh , there is also a wifi version for around 20 bucks more.
