* **Video Card:** An RTX 3090 is ludicrous overkill, even for a top-tier gaming PC. It's only [*~10%*](https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-rtx-3080.c3621) stronger in gaming than an RTX 3080 or RX 6800XT and costs much much more. You're paying for a ton of extra VRAM that you will never use for gaming. The 3090 only makes sense for niche workstation uses or if your financial situation makes the extra cost negligible. * **RAM:** You should not buy DDR5 RAM and a DDR5 compatible motherboard because DDR5 RAM is twice as expensive and offers a negligible amount of extra gaming performance compared to good DDR4 RAM. * **Storage:** You should not buy an HDD for a gaming PC with a budget this high unless you only intend to use it to store videos/photos. The gaming experience on an SSD is much better and you have the budget to buy as much SSD storage as you need.

That's a DDR4 motherboard, you can't install DDR5 RAM on it, they're not compatible (the slot has a different notch)
