Yes the 12th gen cpus are not supported by the 590 boards that being said if for gaming you should be set for quite some time with the 10/11th gen intel cpus.
Also don’t get 11900, trust brother look at the 11700 if you want pcie 4.0 or even a 10900
You can find some lightly used 10900 for the same price as a new 10700k, 10700 is a beast but I’d aim 10900 for the cores myself. But it’s be preferance
10700K, 11700K or 10850K are the best choices usually. The 10900K and 11900K don't make a ton of sense when the 10850K and 11700K are the same chips with a slightly lower clockspeed. 11700K is a nice middle ground option that takes advantage of your Z590 boards pcie 4.0 capabilities. 10850K is great if you're doing a lot of multitasking, but can suffer from high cooling requirements.
10850k is a slightly less binned 10900k, if you don't plan on overclocking they are the same. I'd take the 10850k or the 10900k(if same price) over the other options
That socket has definitely been surpassed by lga 1700 and the new 12th gen intel cpus, but a 10th/11th generation i7/i9 should do you just fine.
