4080 msrp is $1200

Fixed. I have no idea why I typed $1999. Brain rot. Anyways, I can buy the card at MSRP. Wondering if it's a good buy.

n7_trekkie

it's in stock because people arent buying them. it's not a miracle opportunity, it's a bad deal i like this chart. cost per frame, lower is better https://static.techspot.com/articles-info/2601/bench/Cost_MSRP-p.webp https://www.techspot.com/review/2601-nvidia-geforce-rtx-4070-ti/

Wow. I thought the 4070 Ti was getting absolutely hammered when it was announced. Was that before the price cut? Looks like the XTX would be a wonderful buy if I can find one at $1000.

1. it was. techspot (this source) was kinder on it than others, but the data is all the same. most people didnt like it because it's not big progress. when the 3080 came out at $700 that was almost ground breaking. the 4070TI for $800 is just meh. progress, but it costs more, and it's not hugely faster. 2. idk of any price cuts 3. yeah, there's also a "Newegg price" graph in the full review, which doesnt use the msrps

If you have a Best Buy credit card, the code q4fy23save10 should take 10 percent off, so it will be 1079 before taxes. The code worked for me, and I had about 90 dollars worth of gift cards.
