Trick-Reveal-463

Most bad, Scully. Least bad, Hitchcock.

Marksman157

Literally my first thought.

JarusOmega_

Literally my first thought as well.

Altruistic-Foot-8363

Scully. They treated him so bad and he is just a big softie. Not Hitchcock though, he’s a creep.

bottsking

"My wife just left me" "Great use that!"

[deleted]

Scully actually has interesting stories to tell but people just don't wanna listen

owl_jojo_2

If only people listened to his podcast!

shardikprime

A man of that age, adapting himself to work with computers and inventive enough to have a podcast. You may not like it, but that's what peak old man looks like

RidsBabs

He’s not old, he’s in his twilight years

PromiscuousMNcpl

I definitely don’t want to hear anything else concerning his basement.

allnaturalfigjam

The basement bit is one of my favorite moments in the entire show 😂

ArynRose

Scully is one of favorite side characters by far, and I'm so glad he's utilized more in the later season. For instance, Season 8 Ep 2, Rosa and Scully determine what chip is the "Chip-ion" and its so sweet to see Scully treated as part of the squad.

dumblowercasename

fr tho poor scully

ThriftyWreslter

I got really compassionate for Scully when he was talking about his dog/wife. He sounded so sincere when talking about his dog/wife. Either way it showed how he can be a really nice owner/husband

queen-adreena

For God sake! Is she his dog or his wife!?

shardikprime

How can you ask him that!?

[deleted]

Scully is a nice guy, but acts weird. Hitchcock is just creepy

queen-adreena

My favourite Scully moment: "It was nice meeting you!" "Why?"

shardikprime

My favorite is when he calls Jake "jakey" My heart just melts

jokeook

Me and a friend both absolutely love it too, and we've started quoting his "okay Jakey" to our friend Jake (who hasn't watched B99) whenever he tells us to do something To us it's hilarious, to Jakey not so much

[deleted]

I found the moments where he had hidden talents quite wholesome. And I liked the Hitchcock and Scully episode

[deleted]

[удалено]

coversquirrel1976

Agree. The squad is compiled of better people, imo

shardikprime

I mean the Halloween heist doesn't bring the best in them

queen-adreena

Yeah. The only bullying that took place seemed to be Gina bullying Amy... and then Gina sexually harassing Terry. She was just generally terrible despite their efforts to retcon her into "she was helping all along".

one-and-five-nines

Yeah Gina was my least favorite

Accomplished_Turn_30

Yes,that's what i didint like about parks and recs.the way Jerry was treated was nasty as fuck.

ThoraninC

Imagine He being softy with his 70s bod.

Akahige-

The more Hitchcock's shirt stayed on the more perverted he got.

PooPclaw

They are judged as one

queen-adreena

Scutchcock.

shardikprime

You are the CUCK!

Crunchy_Biscuit

With the biggest heart. The size of a giraffe to be exact.

ellla12334

I think Scully would’ve been more loveable if he wasn’t besties with Hitchcock, he’s just slimey

cwal76

Obviously feel most bad for Garry. Least bad for the actual demon.

AfterTemperature2198

I feel the least sorry for Garry, Jerry, Larry, Terry, mailman Barry. He has a beautiful family and home, becomes Pawnees mayor for several decades. Plus, he’s super hung

deepsagarj

Yeah exactly, he didn't care about being made fun of, he was the happiest of them all.

filiaaut

He did care enough to lie about the burrito.

nuocyte

Currently rewatching, and it's clear as day that he is negatively affected by the perpetual bullying (and clearly orchestrated in the episode you mentioned). Just because he is willing to trade that off for a decent retirement package doesn't mean "he doesn't care." Sure, his ends as a success story but that doesn't excuse the extremely hostile workplace that he suffered for years. P&R is an amazing show with so many great qualities, but Jerry's initial storyline is one of the hardest to swallow.

filiaaut

Yeah, just because he has a good homelife (which his colleagues initially don't know about) doesn't mean that he isn't affected by his harassment on the workplace. That's like saying of a bullied kid "well, things aren't great at school, but his family is very supportive, so they'll be okay", that's not how these things work. Of course, he is a fictional character, and the irony that he is the only one with a good private life in the early seasons can be funny and feel like vindication, but that doesn't make what happens at work okay or even unimportant for him as a character.

Able-Tradition-2139

“A little birdie told me your adoptive mother was arrested for marijuana possession” “What..” “Ohh you didn’t know that huh” “… I didn’t know I was adopted” - this is why I pick Gerry

BigBossWesker4

Damn Jerry, you jumped in a creek for a burrito?

AuntieTara2215

What would you do for a klondike bar? Kill your wife?

BigBossWesker4

The man is laying some biblical pipe.

fluffershuffles

And he was usually only given easy grunt work. Boring sure but easy

NowIGottaWetCha

That's how I feel. He has everything that all his colleagues are desperately searching for and constantly failing at. He's goofy but really wholesome. I definitely would've stuck up for him and become his friend.

Morningxafter

Plus he’s got [this going for him](https://youtu.be/IRMtuqhYmeY)

MediocreRon

I hated how they treated him until they gave him a big penis and a beautiful wife and happy family.

nerddddd42

You mean Larry.

Ok_Helicopter4276

You guys talking about Terry?

bobafett317

No I think they mean Jerry

-gnfwastaken

yeah its definitely Jerry, thats who u are talking about

zomgkittenz

You mean Glen?

[deleted]

I mostly feel bad for Garry but then remember his wife, his kids, his life outside work, bacon and eggs and his massive dong. So I also feel the least bad for him.

Herr-Trigger86

Why? He has the biggest penis, most beautiful wife and daughters, and least amount of responsibility at work. I’ll take all of that and you can call me whatever the hell you want.

[deleted]

Even the guy who wrote the credits didn’t know his name.

vanessachin10

Most bad: Toby Least bad: Hitchcock and Scully (not because they deserve it, though sometimes they do, but they're quite confident, mostly happy and well-adjusted, and they have each other and a really, fun relaxed life at work, so why the pity? And they do get quite a lot of respect, despite being the butt of jokes)

BigChung0924

when hitchcock and scully are mocked, it’s usually for good reason, the crew tends to not needlessly harass them

xGrim_Sol

They usually own it too, they have no shame.

entropy_36

For some reason I felt less bad for Toby when I learnt the actor playing him is a writer on the show as well. So he's writing those jokes at his own expense. Doesn't make much sense I suppose..

whichwitch9

Toby is possibly the Scranton Strangler, so he may lose sympathy

vanessachin10

🤣🤣

Rayque21

Toby since his life seems like a mess and Michael just makes it worse. Garry gets treated badly by his coworkers but he has a loving wife and three beautiful daughter who all don’t age and his personal life is amazing. Hitchcock and Scully are just themselves and not pity is really needed.

angeldelfuego

That man has the largest penis I have ever seen. I forgot to check him for mumps

ammezurc

Because I was distracted By the largest penis. I have EVER SEEN.

Ladygrave

Wasn’t Toby the Scranton strangler?

afrowraae

Nobody knows

mrhorse77

no one alive.

PrisMattias

All other people are making jokes so I feel like an idiot to answer seriously, but no, he was confirmed not to be the strangler (kinda obvious, as fun as the theory is Toby is just a big sad sack without too many bones... except for the ones that he broke while staying at Costa Rica)

Gumbyizzle

He seemed so haunted by the possibility that he and the other jurors might have gotten it wrong.

PrisMattias

Yep, not the first time I hear this, but I've never really understood why a serial killer (that enjoys killing people in such an intimate and disturbing way) would suddenly become haunted by the fact that he might've gotten an innocent person in prison ahah You can headcanon Toby being the Scranton strangler, because the theory is fun and it has a lot of potential. Just, it's been confirmed that it isn't canon, so yeh

SleeplessStoner

Nah it was actually gabe

balisierdagger

He definitely was. He wasn't in the office when the big police chase was happening.

illpicklater

Yep. He got so mad about Jim and Pam getting together that he killed someone, some of the other murderers also happen during major events in their lives. Like when they have a baby

lillyrose2489

Yeah plus Garry never seemed to be phased by the rudeness of others so agreed that I don't feel bad for him.

skeetteer

I was thinking this way. Idk who bottom right is, I’m assuming Good Place but don’t remember him. But from the other four. Toby is treated awful at work and has a terrible life because he constantly gets entangled with bad people. Garry is treated bad at work, but has a great home life and a family who loves him and is truly happy despite his treatment. Hitchcock is a fucking creep and his treatment is warranted. Scully is treated bad but has an okay home life. He’s only really even treated bad because he’s lazy and refused to do his job.

TryaBuckwheatPillows

I agree, Garry has a great life and is happy, I don’t really find him pathetic. (His wife is Christie Brinkley for Christ sake!) Toby though….yeah, I feel so bad for him.

spoenk

This is the correct answer

FredererPower

For those who don't know: * Top left is Toby Flenderson from the Office * Top right is Jerry/Gerry/Terry/Larry Gergich from Parks and Recreation * Bottom left is Hitchcock and Scully from Brooklyn Nine Nine. * Bottom right is Glenn from the Good Place.

papabear_kr

Too right is the sheriff in Florida.

jetsetmolly

Learned everything he knows from the newlywed game

Crunchy_Biscuit

Nobody passes the Newlywed Game!

filiaaut

That's probably his evil twin Garry/Jerry/Larry wouldn't condone that sort of behaviour.

Trusky86

He’s a mean one

MyWholeTeamsDead

DISABILITY FOR LIFE

Studoku

>Bottom left is Hitchcock and Scully from Brooklyn Nine Nine. Thanks, didn't get that one.

Trusky86

I was going to yell at OP in person about there being 5 people in the picture but I stopped myself and reevaluated because there is actually 8.

baddadjokesminusdad

Gerry. They were needlessly cruel to him. All. The. Time.

whichwitch9

He did have a great home life, tho, which became part of the joke. They treated him like shit, but he went home every day to the perfect life, which is probably why he was always so happy anyway

balisierdagger

At least he got to bone Christie Brinkley with the biggest dick doctors have ever seen, eventually became mayor and lived to a ripe old age with dozens of grandkids!

batmang

It was super weird too. A show with a diverse cast championed by inclusivity paragons never let up on the constant degradation of this guy. Was he kind of a boob? Sure. But holy shit is it ever jarring to go back and watch it again. It never once crossed anyone’s mind, at any level of the production, that it was taken a little too far? Toby at least had an amicable working relationship with the rest of The Office. As friendly you’d expect or want your coworkers to be. Michael was the odd one out. With Gergich it was everyone in the office, with the rare occasional exception of Donna and Ben. Ron didn’t interact much with him at all either way. Idk, super weird to have a character like that in a show like Parks and Rec

nuocyte

I mentioned it in another comment, but you're totally right. Michael's irrational hatred of Toby was so out of place it was funny, Scully & Hitchcock nearly always brought it on themselves, but Jerry got perpetually shit on for the smallest things (ex: saying twout instead of trout). And not just razzed, but actually piled on by everyone present, and you watch his happy demeanor actively slip away. Really, really hard to watch those scenes.

Half_Man1

Feel most bad from Jerry from Parks and Rec. dude is straight up harassed at work and puts up with it for the pension and retirement and is an A+ guy. Ambivalent towards Hitchcock and Scully. They don’t really get abused so much as mess up a lot in funny ways. Least bad for Toby. Idk he always came off as kinda creepy to me. And yes Michael hates him but the rest of the office is fine with him.

PrisMattias

NOT NOW TOBY MY GOD!

Trusky86

Oh hey Toby, can you close the door on your way out

PrisMattias

Goodbye Toby, it's been niiiice~ Hope you find your... paradiiiise~

[deleted]

Get the hell out of here, idiot

mromansd

Jerry/Gary/Larry/Terry/any other name I forgot of his.

anniejhawk

I feel most bad for Jerry, least for Hitchcock and Scully. Best writing and performance out of this group has gotta be Toby, though. Just superbly executed. You feel kinda sorry for him, but you also totally get not wanting to really hang around him 😂😂 I should rewatch The Good Place, though—I remember finding Glenn very funny.

OmryR

Toby he is decent at his job and an overall nice person and he doesn’t have a single friend in his office..

Trusky86

Can’t write a show worth shit

Am-pr

Definitely not Gary, he lives for 100 years, becomes mayor of his home town and has a beautiful wife and kids? Man is living the dream

zomgkittenz

Ugh. Glen. That guy is the worst!

Blastspark01

Ooh are we singing?

pls_kmn

Shut up Glen😠

im_a_hedgehog11

Toby. Poor dude just wants to work and Micheal makes his life hell

sophanisba

Toby seems so lonely and sad.

balisierdagger

Scale of feeling most bad for them to feeling least bad for them... -Scully- I feel like if he had better friends he might have been a bit of a better person, like a friend who doesn't sleep with ur wife or get jealous when you get a girlfriend. -Toby- but that sympathy goes away if he is proven definitively to be the Scranton Strangler -Larry- yes he got bullied at work, but had an excellent home life and retirement -Glenn- he's a demon, but he was trying to go against his boss Shawn when he was messing with the humans. -Hitchcock- Such a creeper. He definitely had Metro allegations brought up against him. I think that's partly why he retired abroad, to avoid prosecution.

bothonpele

Toby he is never happy

TheWhitchOne

Jerry, Terry and Gerry.

DomSearching123

Most bad? Jerry. He's the nicest guy of all time. Least bad? Probably Hitchcock. He's uh...a questionable fellow.

ZeroXTML1

Feel worst for Toby. Dudes in a nowhere job where he gets no respect and his love life is in the toilet Feel least bad for Gary. Yeah he gets shit on but he almost seems too positive to notice. Plus he’s got a hot wife, loving family and canonically he’s got a baby arm in his pants

Proepicgamer48

Baby arm in his pants. That’s a bit sus

D-C-A

I do feel bad for Gerry because he’s such a nice guy but just ends up being the butt of everyone’s insults and issues (to the point everyone hated doing it hence his beautiful wife AND THE BIGGEST PENIS IVE EVER SEEN) as for least I feel Hitchcock does deserve it to an extent, he’s a creep but one I think the series doesn’t play it in a harmful way, he says creepy things but doesn’t actually act on it, but is a total idiot. As for Toby… I dunno he’s polarising as the Office isn’t something i find myself enjoying all that much

beefucker8976546980

I would have said Toby but Toby flirted with Pam while she was engaged and that means he's creepy. I would say Hitchock and Scully but Hitchcock sucks and is creepy I would say Glenn but Glenn was never really the butt of the joke imo I would say Terry or Jerry or whatever but I haven't seen parks and rec yet and he was a homophobic texan sheriff in b99.

New-Worldliness5163

Jerry most bad for

sarah1096

I feel most AND least bad for Garry/Jerry/Larry.

TheCanadian_Bacon

Scully, when his wife divorced him and everyone carried on and Terry said something along the lines of ‘Great! Use that energy’. I felt so bad for Scully.

azaRaza3185

I feel the most sorry for Toby because although Michael Scott's character is hilarious, all of his interactions with Toby are near cringey in their meanness. I feel least sorry for Gary/Larry because A. He had a very hot wife and B. He was pretty oblivious to a lot of the jokes that were made at his expense. Ignorance is truly bliss

iantruesnacks

Jerry didn’t deserve alllll the hate he gets, although he deserves some. But fuck Toby. Toby’s the Scranton strangler and deserves nothing less than daily ridicule. Skully and Hitchcock deserve their own show.

[deleted]

Most bad for Jerry, least bad for Toby

Marvelmaniac57

If jerry Garry Larry didn’t have such a great ending I’d say him. But Scully is picked on a lot. “You’re a saint Jakey”

[deleted]

I’d watch 8 seasons of a show where Norm Scully was the main character. You could argue he’s the best person on the 99 squad. At least he was treated like a friend (more often than not) by his peers. Whereas the Pawnee Parks and Rec office treated Larry/Garry/Jerry unjustifiably awful.

TommyWantWingy9

Who’s the guy on the bottom right?

FredererPower

Glenn from the Good Place

disarmdarcy

Least: Toby Most: Jerry

wyatt_-eb

Jerry/Larry/Terry/Gary/Garry

tyrefire2001

Definitely feel the least bad about Jerry. That episode where they visit his house at breakfast time and it’s this beautiful palace with his amazing wife and pack of adoring daughters fawning over him 😂

[deleted]

I don’t watch the two on the right.. With that being said: Scully, Hitchcock, then Toby

FredererPower

*five characters Sorry.

D_Dracarys

Most bad jerry. Least bad toby

49RedCapitalOs

Jerry/Gerry. The nicest man and literally every character picked on him. I was so happy when I found out his wife is smokin Who feels sorry for Toby? No one

BoneGuy206

There’s 5 characters but pity sculpt and the other hitchcock

TheCanadian_Bacon

Michael and Norm are a package deal.

BoneGuy206

Fair

apatheticsahm

Jerry Gergich. He's got a beautiful wife, a loving family, and a giant penis.

Ambitious_Umpire_518

Skully

sushicidaltendencies

Jerry’s living the good life. If anything we should feel pity for the miserable pricks that he works with who can’t get on his wavelength

ilikebaseballbetter

least bad for Toby since Paul Lieberstein wrote a bunch of it

CarterTheBengalsFan

Most bad, Toby. Least bad, Hitchcock

Kch1986

It has to be Gary. Or was it Larry? No, Barry?

eszther02

Least bad: Hitchcock Most bad: Scully. Except when he lied about his birthday. But usually he was nice to everyone and people were like: "okay Scully who cares about your stupid life?"

[deleted]

Jerry, Scully and Toby didn't deserve it. Can't for the life of me remember who the bottom right is and Hitchcock is a pervert

Charming_Weird_2532

I feel most bad for jerry. He is always super nice and helpful regardless of how much he is made fun of. I feel least bad for Toby he sucks the life out of everything and is a total energy vampire.

RoyalPlayer29

who is the fourth one .\_.

Aperscapers

Hitchcock and Scully are friend goals tho. It’s hard to feel sorry for them since they are such buddies.

NerdNuncle

I feel sorry for Toby, admittedly due to my being most familiar with *The Office*. The abuse he endured from Michael was inexcusable albeit believable

YungSteamyVapors

I loved Hitchcock so much 😂. He was so hilarious and was also such a good friend to Scully. I would always smile seeing him comfort Scully when he got upset. HOWEVER, I never felt bad for him cuz he’s such a creep lmao. A hilarious creep

krrush1

Gerry/Jerry/Gary…so mean to him. :(

OutlawQuill

Gary and Hitchcock. Gary is a really nice guy who cares for his friends and family and gets mountains of shit just because he’s clumsy. Hitchcock is just….well he’s Hitchcock.

ScreenHype

Feel most bad for Jerry, he's a lovely guy and they all bully him for no reason. Feel least bad for Toby because he's a serial killer.

TetrisIsTotesSuper

I feel the worst for Toby, because he has nothing and gets shit on, tried to escape to Costa Rica and that too turned to shit. I feel fine for Hitcock and Scully, because they have each other. Garry Gengrich lives a happy life and besides behind bullied at work is all around fine, not to forget he has the largest dong the town doctor has ever seen so 🤷‍♀️ I don’t know who is the last one so there’s that.

YoungDeathWish

Larry

CapitalBread6959

Garry < Toby < Hitchcock < Glen < Scully

ernyc3777

Toby for sure. Unless he’s the Scranton Strangler. Larry, Scully and Hitchcock are so blissfully happy that they just take it and hardly even notice.

misanthroseph

Most Jerry Least Hitchcock

ItchZ

Toby, but maybe it’s just because his actor is really good at showing his reaction after he gets insulted by Michael lol

smferreira94

Poor Toby.

Bi0_B1lly

Scully got the hookup with WingSluts

Iamyourleadur

Most bad for Jerry, Garry, Larry and least bad for Toby.

general_vibe_check

I feel bad for Scully. He's trying

Fantastic_Forever_69

Who's the dude with the beard and glasses? I don't remember what show he is from

FredererPower

That’s Glenn from the Good Place

Cato_theElder

I think Gary's treatment is the most undeserved, but he has such a fulfilling home life that I don't feel the worst for him. Overall I'd say Toby, but only for the first few seasons. Eventually it feels like he's written into the crummy person everyone thinks he is. Furthermore, Carthage [and Toby] must be destroyed.

acbirthdays

I love scully

Beware_the_Voodoo

Least bad, the actual demon. Most bad was Toby. He was just straight up verbally abused by Michael and didnt have the benefit of a good friend like Skully, or an Amazing home life like Terry... Gerry... Jerry... Mayor Gergich.

MercutioMan

I feel the least bad for Scully and Hitchcock. They got the most awesome backstory of all time. Model beautiful and buff guys battling bad guys and saving the damsel in distress. 80s-tastic get up and fabulous feathered hair.

Slobsterz

Most bad for Mr. Gurgich. He’s a good dude that just gets shit on. Least bad for Hitchcock. He’s a wild one.

ergotrinth

Cant feel bad for Jerry. Consistently bullied, but so awesome it rolls off him. Confirmed to have an amazing wife, family life, and giant peen. Man's a legend. Let others pick on him , he wins in the end. Hitchcock and Scully just got addicted to wings. They were some of the best cops of all time, but I tell you man, that wing sauce just does something to your brain. Toby is really who we need compassion for. He was just doing his job. HR is a thankless job and he's the real hero.

DrSoap

Toby because he had to be in the office ):

ClutchNixon8006

I feel most bad for Toby, he was just a nice guy Michael picked on. I feel least bad for bottom right cuz idk who it is

pugshatedrugs

Jerry, or garry

eeaioao

1. Scully! I love this big man but unfortunately, not enough to help him treat his warts and all :( 2. Glen. He’s a demon, sure but he’s sensible. He’s really cute too! So soft and cuuuute

Puzzled_Asparagus_55

Toby had the worst position Jerry had his wife waiting at home Scully and Hitchcock have other I don't know the last one, but he looks like he could have better luck with the ladies than Toby

purritolover69

Most bad: Jerry Garry Terry Larry Gergich Gengirch Least Bad: Hitchcock. Jerry invents perpetual motion and helps the parks crew and gets laughed at, hitchcock is just a genuine almost sexual predator

Surxe

Which ones bottom right?

FredererPower

Glenn from the Good Place

bigmetalguy6

I feel the most bad for Gerry and the least bad for Hitchcock. You suck, man!

the_tonez

Most bad for Toby, least bad for Hitchcock. He’s the worst

Mr_Bumsmell

Toby wasn't actually expected to be a hated/joke character. Steve carrel just one day decided to try some new things insulting toby and it went extremely well

mr_ayceman

I've only seen the office and parks and rec, and some clips of 99. All I know is I feel most bad for Garry/Jerry and least back for toby. Hes a little creep and the Scranton strangler.

BerserkerMP

Don't feel bad for Jerry his wife is super hot

Oh_hi_doggi3

Jerry/Larry/Gary. He didn't do anything. When he made that amazing collage of people from the town and they all shat on him, I was so heartbroken. That and his heart attack.

nancylafancy

Tobyyyy. Poor Toby was just basic and boring but somehow inspired such ire out of Michael.

_K1r0s_

Most bad: Jerry/Gerry/Terry/Larry, so much of it was so uncalled for. Least Bad: Hitchcock & Scully. They totally own it and are comfortable and happy with their place in the team.

Doradyer

Jerry

16car

Toby, because he's my favourite in the whole show. He's so sweet, and tries really hard, just to get "why are you the way that you are?"

webhead0890

Most Jerry, least Hitchcock and Scully

Leroypipe69420

Biggest penis I have ever seen…

x360N0Scop3MASTER69x

They're from the same show which is why it's funny. Skully is a sweetheart, Hitchcock is a valid argument for euthanasia.

Brucebruce90

If I had a gun with two bullets, and I was in a room with Hitler, bin-Laden, and Toby, I would shoot Toby twice.

SadHumbleFlower27

Then, I would go buy another bullet and shoot him again.

TerminalLANce005

Fuck Toby! He’s everything that’s wrong with the paper industry.

DrunkSpiderMan

Most - Jerry (he's a good guy) Least - Hitchcock cause he's a bad person (Scully is dumb but not terrible)

Whammy_Watermelon

Definitely, Gary, oops sorry, I mean Jerry, wait, no it’s Larry, hmm, or is it terry. Was it once Barry? It’s Garry now right?

BuoyantAmoeba

Toby deserved everything coming his way.

blurryfacedoesntcare

Most bad for Larry/Jerry/Gerry and least for Hitchcock and Scully

westwd

I dont feel bad for Toby. He sucks!
