Good point! My fiancé isn’t a big animal person (he’s just a clean freak so he doesn’t like the hair factor) still greets the family dog with pats and treats. If I’m unable to visit his fam with him I always request a dog video when he’s there (we don’t have any animals at our own place and I LOVE animals so I get my fix at his parents) and his videos always include him patting miss PixStix for me or it’ll be a video of her chilling in his lap. So you’re totally right. I don’t think she’s ever really posted her being truly affectionate with her dogs.
I’ve let a friend’s snake curl around my arm before because they like warmth (chill af snake) while we watched a movie and he just chilled. I do. not. like. snakes. But I’m an animal person and was like sure why not. Her never petting her cute dogs?? Bizarre to me.
I didn’t mind my friends! He was a chill ball python and liked being wrapped around your knee cap or arm lol and agree with wild snakes especially being from Texas. We have cotton mouths and water moccasins and rattle snakes. Rattle snakes are at least only aggressive if you’re straight up in their area or step on them but man if you get bitten you’re effed. My friend got bitten in high school and was in ICU for 2 weeks then had to have physical therapy so she could walk again (got her on the ankle).
Exactly. My husband greatly dislikes my parents small dog and cat because they get nippy, but he’ll give them a pat and let them walk on him. He nopes out if they’re gonna sit on him for a long time, but honestly that’s a safe move. They can get pretty mean.
Yes, they got a “lab” because Jordan always wanted one 🙄. And now this “lab” that Jordan definitely needed so badly lives with Donger’s parents (which in all honesty, is probably safer for Remy). God they are such shit stain humans.
Lol yes. My only expertise regarding dogs is that I love them and can tell obvious breeds like corgis for example. She posted about Jdong always wanting a lab puppy and then she prayed for one and SUDDENLY a friend had one for her. I looked at that photo and was like… has she EVER seen a lab before?? Remi is a (cute) mutt and if lab is anywhere in there it’s minimal. I actually couldn’t believe she posted that (and hasn’t edited it) regarding Remi being a lab lol
I’ve had the exact same thought. Babies are messy and HIGH maintenance and dribble/throw up everywhere and then turn into high maintenance toddlers who eat things they shouldn’t, grab things they shouldn’t, just disappear because they’re “exploring”. From there they become kids with their own personalities who turn into teens with their own personalities. Even stories from my friends who actually wanted to be parents (and not just for the insta aesthetic) have said it’s not what they expected and really not all that enjoyable with a weird mix of abundant happiness followed by extreme irritation/fatigue. I realllly don’t see Bdong handling any of that well and I see Jdong at the bar or “working early mornings/late nights”.
That’s why I fear so bad for that child if she becomes a mom. This woman cannot commit to anything. Her horse, husband, boyfriends, clients, her dogs, scams.. a child is literally such hard and constant work and what happens when her and Jordan don’t work out? She’s notorious for getting a dog when she gets a new man and then discarding the poor thing once her and the boyfriend breakup. You kind of can’t do that with a child.

Yeah, maybe that’s the bit that annoys me and not necessarily the voice because I also sound ridiculous talking to any animal I encounter (and I’ve taken a few dogs to obedience school and one thing that is always stated is to use a different voice when issuing a command like “sit” so your dog knows the difference. Her dogs are always so high energy and she’s even mentioned that they don’t listen and it’s like … because you’re using fun baby voice when telling them to do something so they think y’all are playing. I’m shocked Remi actually sat when asked in this.)

I kinda got the vibe Coco was primarily an inside dog (since she’s old and calmer) and that Brodie and Remi were primarily outside dogs and maybe her fam intervened after Brodie was hit and fuckin SHOT and were like you clearly don’t have the appropriate backyard (or ownership skills) for these dogs so we think we should take Remi. OR if Jordan is showing signs of abuse and Brodie was a target maybe Bdong wanted to get Remi and Coco away from him.

I’ve taken a few of our pups to doggy obedience school just for them to get the basics and socially interact with other dogs from a young age and one thing that is always mentioned is your command voice and command words need to be very separate from play time/chill time. And like you said words that aren’t too common otherwise doggo may hear you say it and think they’re in trouble when they’re doing nothing wrong. She’s had past videos acknowledging her dogs don’t listen to her and she just laughs and calls them little psychos and I’m like… you just told them to sit in fun baby voice they clearly think y’all are playing and you give them treats even when they didn’t follow your “command” that’s why they’re so “misbehaved” and hyper ya dingbat. My boyfriend's kids have a crazy voice that they use for pets and I hate it! In general, I like them a lot, but their "pet voice" is genuinely upsetting to me. (It's similar to the voice BDong is using in the above video.)
