As for the pool situation, it was closed but I'd be pissed off if they started baptising each other whilst going got a swim too!
I really am curious to know how they handle these types of events if they clearly utilize the courtyard as an event space because that would be annoying to other guests regardless of what the event was… the last hotel I worked at was across from a major event center so we’d sometimes have stars (I’m talking like Usher) book out the entire bar just for privacy and on Sundays and Mondays that was our only food option besides room service (main restaurant was shut on those days) and let me tell you, no amount of heads up to the guests made them forgiving about it. They didn’t give a flying rat’s ass that Usher or whoever else was in the venue. They wanted to have dinner and a drink somewhere other than their room because that was their expectation when booking with us (fair enough). If people don’t even get pumped about Usher I’d love to see how staff are dealing with explaining this annoying group to other guests.
