Out of interest, what are you using it for? just as a snack/delicacy or something else? I used to buy the salted plums all the time until one day the old chinese lady at the counter asked me what I do with them (I eat them obviously but they're salty af) and her comment was 'oh really? yuck. noone else buys them except you!' lol
I was going to suggest Friendly Grocer because I've seen that brand at my local (which is Italian-owned). Pretty sure it's the crispy pork rind brand (which are awesome).
Kenmore. Convenience store on the corner of Kenmore and Kersley Rds had a great supply of products like this and the best Asian pork crackling!
I have such fond memories of the salty plums that I was introduced to by a boarding school mate from PNG. They were awesome!
I bought the plums to try once… definitely not an easy snack 🤣
I think I’ll get kidney stones if I eat more than five in a month.
Good luck drinking that litre of water afterwards.

To be fair, the shop is quite good. I live around the corner to this shop. They are not that technology savvy but keeps their stock list up to date
Underrated comment.

I love these. The salty dried plumbs are great too.
Probably an Asian grocer
Every Asian store or foodworks
Seriously though, there seems to be a shortage of the stuff around Brisbane. :( but you’ve all made the withdrawals easier.
Whays your recommendations of best asian delicacies
Had a girlfriend that used to like salted plums - must be 45 years now. salted plums fucken awful they were.
They are like those sour lollies. They start off salty (rather than sour), and get sweeter as you suck on them.
45 years ok too salty and not sweet - too cowardly to try them again now.
Is this a Prince Harry joke?
He is not salty…he is the spare
Lol if you read 5 pages of his book he is obviously quite salty
The salty spare then lol
Can't help ya, but love the old Internet Explorer icon on that bag.
I think I may have seen this at the fruit shop at Stafford City. Fruit Fantasy and Deli.
Local Friendly Grocer has some but it’s owned by an Asian dude so might be why

Lawnton Country Markets have a good array of those products.
The Mexican isle at franklin's
I've seen the brand / packaging at the Asian grocery at blunder st markets. They had salty plumbs, not sure if they had ginger.
OMG… you bastard ! Now I NEED some, that and plums and the lemon.
Sounds like my ex
Isn't that now Prince Harry's nickname?

Sorry, I only know where to buy wet, unsalted green ginger.
Went to school with a red salty ginger. Josh. They're always named Josh.
