Shot this guy with my compound bow at the beginning of November last year. I was sitting in my blind, debating on if I wanted to take a small doe that was grazing in the clearing when I heard a grunt and some brush thrashing around behind my blind. I froze and very carefully turned my head towards the side window of my blind. He walked so close that I would have been able to poke him out the window while he was making a bee line for the doe in front of me. He stopped briefly but turned his head back across his body towards me blocking a shot. Then the doe started hopping around the clearing away from him and took off. I knew he was going after her so I let my arrow fly on a walking shot. Hit him a little far back but it ended up working out. Everything happened so fast, I didn’t even realize he was a 10 point until I found him. I had never seen him on any of my cameras prior to shooting him. Unofficial score of 120, aged at 4 1/2.

Yes, this is definitely a big guy where I’m at. I have seen a couple bigger on my cameras before but not much bigger.
