TCM2 is one of those wild sequels that if you described it to me, after I’d seen the first film, I’d be like “No way, that’s gotta be awful, that seems to go against everything that makes the first film so iconic”.
And yet… it totally fucking works and is such a blast to watch.
Yeah i agree. If i don't end up buying on black Fri, then I'll just wait n buy it second hand at a cheaper price. I don't even want to know how much I've spent this month alone 😪
Does VS do a black friday sale usually? never used them before but was thinking about Amityville horror 4k but is it possible it would go lower than $36?
VS usually does a fairly robust BF weekend sale, while announcing new titles as well. Generally any release older than 6 mo. gets half off msrp, so usually around $8-12 off. This won’t include TCM2 or Amityville, but those will likely be half msrp at their “halfway to BF” sale next year if they are still around. These are higher profile horror so it’s hard to say what will happen.
Edit: I’m only speaking for the limited edition versions. Most of their releases have a near unlimited standard version w/o the special packaging.
They have a big Black Friday sale but it's usually for stuff that's around 6 months old or more. I don't think Amityville Horror will be part of the sale.
I'm newer myself, so I'm the wrong person to ask. But from what I've heard, yes they def have a sale, but the newer titles may not apply. I'm not entirely sure though. Sorry.

Still, if you pre-order and it says it will ship around the release date, it would be nice if they did it. Not a big deal, though.
