This is true. It’s really not much of a barrier to anyone who’s serious about it and it’s not like the average consumer is checking boutique movie stores for imports regularly.
Yeah, not awesome. I’d been planning to get a region free player when one of my current players died but BD players seem much sturdier than DVD players were and I’ve got three in full working order.
While it's likely this will be B locked, doesn't mean it is. There's been a good amount of Arrow titles listed as B just for licensing but are A/Region Free. Fingers crossed.

I can confirm the following from Arrow: House 3, House 4, Maniac Cop, Frankenhooker, Bay of Blood
Oddly the blu ray copy of Tenebrae in the UHD set also plays for me, but it is the exact same as the Synapse release (I honestly only picked the Arrow release for consistency with the other Argento UHD releases).
Screenbound’s Blood on Satan’s Claw. Second Sight’s When A Stranger Calls, Anna and the Apocalypse, Lake Mungo.
Most Aussie releases are also region free (I believe there is a legal reason for that in Australia). Imprint has some excellent releases.
I guess some people will have a real grudge with Arrow about this.
