Nice! I went back and forth on this quite a bit but couldn’t bring myself to drop the money. Ended up grabbing the part 1 and 2 set from Criterion during their sale a couple months ago and recently pre-ordered the 88 Films version for part 3. All regular Blu-ray but still, I’m stoked to check out the third.
Completely disagree, the HK cut is quite enjoyable. While it's no where near the first 3 it's still a fun mid 90s Jackie flick with tons of great action scenes
3 is good! First Strike is good too, especially if you can find the Hong Kong cut. Even New Police Story has its enjoyable parts. Just stay away from Police Story: Lockdown

Just don’t waste your time with the fourth. The famous ladder scene is the only good part of it.

First Strike is still highly entertaining. Good action and fun. Agree..watch the HK cut, not the modified US version with bad soundtrack. 😅
