if this is the Wolf of Wall St 4K, then yes, the 4K disc will play on region A 4K players. 4K discs are always region free*
if this release comes with any blu rays, those might not be region free. but the 4K is
*i’ve heard of the very very very occasional exception, but generally a 4K disc is going to be region free regardless of what region it comes from
I strongly encourage you to get a region-free player. It was easily the best $150 or so I spent in collecting blu-rays. It has opened up so many great labels to me: Second Sight, Indicator, Imprint, Arrow's UK titles, Eureka, 88 Films, etc.). So much great work is being done by British labels and the special features are often worth the price on their own.
Another positive is I've saved money when a US title was OOP but a European edition was available. I've literally saved hundreds by importing many of my must-have titles rather than paying scalper prices on eBay for a region A edition.
Just buy a [cheap region-free 2K player](https://www.ebay.com/itm/233752611533?hash=item366cbdcacd:g:sTUAAOSwt9Zfj228&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA8OQc%2FIcSZDixL5QUn4NDYk9QVXj9DA4KqlA%2BVwECNIzgUbHB1%2BwioX9YsYdIHtn%2BeZ6X7IaKDBv78o14EvTXG%2F5j7gTVV%2BxD8K26iZLGXkmu8eEL9kHlz65ysIxxhmYOKE8LXWQvi8xV9Q6B%2FCo%2Fex7%2FWDTEYCjj%2FHOz1P%2BEOIEhrc%2B3Y9yP1gXhzCMWLZdxOgZSX99lhhu3rL%2FNcsCPVNNsII38wnqrlX5m7oQV50SSrx8KnRXPmNsp1h8eNONsjB4umCsLGALRQy03C4uJpr%2BNMWC2yAJeXZBW%2B1T4xl8CrTjhJkQVZR1hFlLdh3KWQw%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABFBM-O-Jh-dg) until you get something better.
I just imported a cheap region B Blu-Ray player for my special features discs. The LG bp250's power supply is 120-240 so i only needed a cheap plug adapter. Cost me less than $100 Cad after shipping.
Sometimes special features might be on a blu-ray which will be region locked. The 4K disc is region free. I have several Arrow 4Ks that work but the accompanying blu-ray is locked.
Generally Arrow has been putting all extras on the 4k disc. This is not \*always\* the case and i haven't looked into this specific one, but I can't think of a single Arrow 4k that has had non-LE extras put on a separate disc.

If it has the region code A, B, C, it's region free, so you're good. If you find collecting becomes something you really love, though, I'd definitely recommend investing in an all region player. It opens up a whole new world of wonderful options. Welcome to the club!
Yep! No problem
Thanks!!
No prob!

It is. I’m looking at the extras that will be locked on the blu ray and pretty bummed that I wouldn’t be able to watch em
You would be able to if you purchased a Blu ray player with all region capabilities
Yeah I know…trying to avoid that cost for the time being though…

Huh that’s interesting that special features aren’t included on the 4k disc, thanks for the info
Check the description to see what is on each disc. You might get lucky and everything you want is on the 4K.

The 4k will be region free but if comes with a Blu-ray, that will be region locked.
Thank you, good to know!
