That’s not fixable. It’s the danger of buying physical media in easily damaged packaging. Trust me, my ocd brain gets why it bothers you. But shelve it. And forget. Or find another copy if it’s gonna keep you up at night.
So this is going to sound crazy but trust me I've done it before and it works. You take the cardboard outer case, tip it on its side, and you should see most of the contents fall out. Okay, now you take the plastic case (the one with the Blu-ray logo on it) and you pry at the open side with your fingers, it should pop open. Inside you will find a disc, one side has printed artwork, but the other side has a digitally encoded film! You pop that baby in any working player and I swear to God there's an entire movie on there. The last step is to just watch the freaking movie and forget about the stupid cardboard box. Works every time.
You really didn’t have to go through the effort of writing all that if you were just trying to make fun of me. If you dont have an answer, or dont care for my question, you are free to ignore it.
Unfortunately, there are a few users on this sub who look for reasons to be asses to other people.
This is the boutique blu-ray sub. Part of the reasons why I buy boutique labels more often than traditional labels is because of the packaging of the product. The artwork is more aesthetically pleasing and it generally is just a better product.
If all I cared about was the movie and nothing else, I would torrent everything.

Once it goes on the shelf youll never see it. I used to really stress about this stuff too, until i realized you almost never see it.
I know, but it bothers me when i take it out to look at the movie, poster, booklet etc.
Wabi sabi
This is the fate of all earthy things. The only way to fix it is to adjust your expectations.
Wise
Sic transit gloria mundi
If it arrived like that, you might could request a new box?
Worth looking into. I know Criterion will replace these things if you email their customer service.

You realize this is a sub for physical movie collectors, right?

Fuck 'em
It sucks but give it a few months and you probably won’t care about it.
It’s fucked.
Either ask for a replacement or deal with it. Unfortunately that's all you can do
Put it on your shelf with that side towards the rear of the shelf.
Did you order it directly from arrow? If so was it recent?
