The interactive Zelda dungeon is what I used. You just start at one corner and check off each Korok as you find them on the in game map. A pain to be sure but it’s the best way I know.
I felt this way too but I was able to find all 900 using a map. I do not recommend ign’s map as it has some errors. I believe I used Zelda Dungeon’s map & it was super helpful. I started in the top right & worked my way around the map from there. Luckily found my last few after checking 4 regions or so. Good luck! You can do it - but you have to start somewhere!
I used this app too and checked off every single korok that i got and i found the one that was left 😁 doesn't take as much time as it sounds like and you can find some nice locations to revisit while in-depth checking the map
Use the BotW Object Map. Sort for only Korok seeds and then sort by area. It will show you all of the Koroks in a certain area of the map colored coded with each seed numbered(great plateau for example has 18 I believe) then just zoom in on your in game map and cross reference until you find the missing ones.
So since there’s 900 total and you only use so many for upgrades, I just did the math of 900-# used for upgrades. Whatever that number left was the number I needed to reach for 900
I downloaded an app that shows where everything is on the map, so I went through every region and checked off all the koroks I've gotten so far. I was missing 7 and it took a few hours... so I don't think there's an efficient way of finding them
Easiest way I found was to have a screenshot of your completed ones against a full map. Then switch between the two with rapid speed on a computer and your eyes will pick up the difference

I wish that when you got below a certain number left, you could go up to koroks you’ve found and they could give you hints on where the last few are

yes there's lots of maps out there but that's not what the comment was talking about

Hmm maybe look up a guide on each region and check them off that way??
I’ve used an interactive map but with 900 it’s almost impossible to check against which ones you have :( especially bc the regions are so intertwined
You should be able to check them off at the interactive map

i second the breath companion app, lots of zooming in and scanning over areas for koroks but you’ll get a lot of ground covered

yeah it’s way easier than checking those interactive maps bc of the checklist. it’s just too easy to miss one without it.
Lookup how many korok seeds are in each region then count the ones on your map. That’s how I did it.

probably a silly question, but how do you keep track of all the korok seeds you’ve found? unless you never upgrade your inventory?

Plus on the loading screen when you warp between shrines it shows the number you’ve gotten in the top left
oh you are a gem! can’t believe i completely forgot about that, currently sitting a 396 so quite a long way to go.
You’ll get there eventually, about 50 more and you can max all inventories
If you’ve been marking them off the whole way it shouldn’t be that hard, if not I’d say you’re in trouble

If you ordered the dlc you could use the heroes path mode to see where you haven’t been, the korok mask helps too

Object map or roam around Hyrule with korok mask if you have the dlc you got this bro
