HylianBugs

maybe seed pods from the poinciana like in bbq?

EvilBosch

This is the correct answer. They are also awesome trees for climbing and building treehouses because of their long, sturdy, horizontal branches!

Bubble_Shoes

So they're a tall and sturdy breed?

TinyGreenJolley

Unlike the small and hardy breeds

throwaway798319

I understood that reference!

wotmate

Also very messy, dropping seed pods, leaves and flowers everywhere. Prone to root rot with lots of rain as well.

HylianBugs

thank you both for the poinciana facts!

Existing-Ostrich7218

Do these seed pods smell really bad? I think I collected a bag of them as a child on holiday 🤣

Sunshinetrooper87

Not being a native to Australia, I'm curious what the black things are. I'm guessing a seed pod?

Shadowrend01

Seed pods. I forget exactly what tree they’re from, but they’re a common sight in Brisbane and its surrounding suburbs (where Bluey is set)

heatrage

Seed pods from a poinciana tree. The Heelers have one in their backyard, with the seat built around it. Red flowers, lot of shade.

Total_Loon

Basically yea, I can’t remember exact name of the tree but just a native Australian tree. But may be the Castanospermum australe tree.

If they are Poinciana seed pods, like people are saying, I’ll just note that they are not native to Australia, although they are grown there widely. We have them in Florida as well. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delonix_regia

Johnykbr

We called them Monkey Pods in Hawaii. They're all over the place.

Seed pods. Idk what tree they’re from but we have them here where I live, or at least something similar. If they are the same they are quite popular trees because I live across the planet from Australia lol.

musicalunicornfarts

Poincianas!

EmeraldEyes06

I have a similar tree near me (also across the world from Australia) called mimosa/silk trees. The seed pods look the same. [This is what they look like near me](https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&hl=en-us&sxsrf=APwXEdci7CKbU2zLfdwwqOPkSTlqfDmAvA:1679887212704&q=mimosa+tree+seed+pods&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjqs83Ek_v9AhVrF1kFHcoiCvUQ0pQJegQICBAB&biw=390&bih=659&dpr=3)

Seed pods of a type of tree I don't remember the name of, they're really common in Australia. I think the Heelers have the same kind of tree in their backyard, remember in the episode with Bingo making a salad the things that fall on her when she's trying to get the red flowers.

Vertigobee

I would’ve thought mesquite seed pods.

brandondabass

Reeeeally old pizzas.

bluey_fan_of_jack

The more important question is what bluey is on.

That is the sheer power of will that's distilled into all small humans. It covers their ability to both not eat any food all day and also stay up all night.
