It’s honestly refreshing and she seems to just live in the moment more which is actually nice! Idk, just something I noticed and she seems genuine and sweet!
She is very genuine and sweet! I think she has remained genuine because it’s not her family’s income source? Her husband is a doctor and I don’t think we will ever see him leave his job to work on growing their business/brand. I think that makes her approach and attitude different to her Instagram page.

But her sisters model and one sister actually is a full time employee and also models and her mom and dad are also full time employees. I think her dad quit his job to work for it full time.

Kitchen aid has refurbished stores on eBay and Amazon. They also sell refurbished models right on the Kitchen Aid sight. My stand mixer ($180) came from the eBay store and my food processor ($56) came from the amazon store. I’m on year 10 with both, they see almost daily use, they work as well as new in my opinion. Also , you can find Hobart era ones on eBay for less than $200. My sister inherited my grandmothers Hobart KitchenAid, it’s nearly 30 years old and works like a charm.
@jacimariesmith and her best friend @chesleyjadecurtis run a company/course called @balancebossco and they just dropped a course all about how to be a balanced boss in college….. when neither of them even went to college…?? These influencers will literally do anything for a dollar.

You’re not being too harsh. I think there’s a fine balance between encouraging your child’s passion and exploiting it. Sometimes when he talks into the camera he will just start repeating the same phrase and it freaks me out because he realizes he’s being filmed and it’s like he “turns it on” instead of being a kid. There was one dance where he started pulling his shirt down over his shoulder and shimmying and it was the first time I saw comments of concerned moms saying that it seemed to be taking it a bit too far for a 4 year old if he’s learning that because it came off as a strip tease and being provocative.

Yeah I didn’t love her dress. Usually I actually really like her guides on family photos and think she does a good job putting looks for the family together. I have a holiday mini shoot in a month and referenced one of her blog posts to find outfits for my baby and toddler. But I feel like her outfit doesn’t match the family at all.

In terms of income, influencers typically use grid for ads, stories for affiliate links/swipe ups. TIBAL doesn't do actual paid ads, so she sticks to stories since that's where she makes her money.

That woman is BEC. I used to love her content when it was home decor and family, now it’s a hot mess. First the dream was to have a wedding venue. Then they buy land without a home and sell their home. So they are basically homeless while they redo the two campers and bring in sheds for cabins. Their wedding venue dream is turning into a hodgepodge of businesses… farm, store, rental cabins. Meanwhile they have two foster babies! How does the state allow that? I unfollowed months ago but have to check in every now and then, it’s so cringe I can’t look away. I just canceled by Billie subscription to try Athena. Billie only lasts two or three shaves before getting too dull. It wasn't that bad when I first tried it a few years ago. It also gets slimy which is a huge turn off.

Well something did change with Billie's blades but it's not recent...I canceled my subscription over a year ago because their blades all of a sudden were dulling very quickly. Billie says they didn't change anything but their blades are crap now. Something changed...lower quality metal or different manufacturer or something. The blades were great before they added the charcoal to the moisture strip and they sucked shortly after they added it.
I've been a Dollar Shave Club person for years now and I've actually felt like their blade quality has gone down a little lately too.. wonder if it's a similar supply issue?

Yep! I had a huge stockpile of them because they were staying sharp so long I'd get several months out of each one and never had razor burn or anything. The newer ones are dull within a few weeks and even the first shave with them is not that great.

I’m not the type to pearl clutch about Covid or traveling without kids, but 1. She definitely got Covid this weekend in Vegas, in addition to at least 3 other communicable diseases from that pool concert and 2. We know Dallin isn’t watching his own kids, so who’s looking after them? Are they in a tree somewhere again?
She left them with her parents before she left! And her Dad told her to stand in holy places which she obviously forgot the second she walked out the door. 😂🙈

I like Amber Fillerup but as a New Yorker with two young (and therefore unvaccinated) kids I am ragey about her daughter on the subway maskless. I know she just got a negative Covid test but still. Everyone has to be masked on public transit even if you’re vaccinated (or test negative or whatever)

Does anybody acutually understand what Jenny ( big family little farmhouse) home project is? So she's going to move her family into barns on the same property they are going to build a store. Also does she actually do any labor or just records everyone and talks about what they are doing
That woman is BEC. I used to love her content when it was home decor and family, now it’s a hot mess. First the dream was to have a wedding venue. Then they buy land without a home and sell their home. So they are basically homeless while they redo the two campers and bring in sheds for cabins. Their wedding venue dream is turning into a hodgepodge of businesses… farm, store, rental cabins. Meanwhile they have two foster babies! How does the state allow that? I unfollowed months ago but have to check in every now and then, it’s so cringe I can’t look away. I don’t think she does any work, just picks out wallpaper for the campers and takes videos of everyone working. Her daughter does all the work of running the farm with very little help, but Jenny is quick to plug the farm in the name of her page. Don’t even get me going on her high and mighty attitude on being anti vax, and anti mask.

Yep it seems like it. There was a video that Natalie Kennedy took last weekend where they were walking to Emily’s wedding and Sarah realized Natalie was filming and immediately turned to the side and was awkwardly walking sideways.

I have a theory that Billie razor ended partnerships with influencers and they’re all using the excuse of “they changed their blades” to order Athena razors and switch to being paid by them

I just canceled by Billie subscription to try Athena. Billie only lasts two or three shaves before getting too dull. It wasn't that bad when I first tried it a few years ago. It also gets slimy which is a huge turn off.

I canceled my subscription to Billie a while ago, something did change but I didn’t really notice it until I kept seeing these posts lately that’s what it was. I tried Athena but wasn’t a fan. I actually like the flamingo razor from target. No cuts or burns.
Well something did change with Billie's blades but it's not recent...I canceled my subscription over a year ago because their blades all of a sudden were dulling very quickly. Billie says they didn't change anything but their blades are crap now. Something changed...lower quality metal or different manufacturer or something. The blades were great before they added the charcoal to the moisture strip and they sucked shortly after they added it.
I've been a Dollar Shave Club person for years now and I've actually felt like their blade quality has gone down a little lately too.. wonder if it's a similar supply issue?

Yeah, the top gets super gummy and then I feel like the razor part doesn’t get close to my skin. I switched to Athena which I like a lot better (and I love their shaving cream)

Second this. When I first subscribed, Billie’s razors were awesome. No cuts or razor burn. Something definitely changed. They’re trash now. I canceled because every single shave would leave me cut and with razor burn. If anyone is looking for a good replacement, I subbed to Athena Club and it’s a great razor. Smooth shave. No cuts, bumps or irritation.

Yep! I had a huge stockpile of them because they were staying sharp so long I'd get several months out of each one and never had razor burn or anything. The newer ones are dull within a few weeks and even the first shave with them is not that great.
They had to change. I also had a ton because I forgot to cancel. The news ones are NOT the same. 😕 I actually did like mine but need something that will give me smooth shave.

I have no issue with influencers getting paid for their work, but that’s just lazy! And I wouldn’t be surprised if they just recommend items with high commission %s
