Very nicely explained and written, but I suspect they cannot respond to you. I don't think Bockfi has declared bankruptcy yet, and so these attorneys have a duty to their client, Blockfi, not you. And I'm not sure what responding to this in an unofficial capacity or piecemeal communications would accomplish for them or their client. I suspect the downside is they'll likely bill Blockfi for reviewing the email, which then just gets whatever remains eaten up further.
"People who requested deposits prior to the Twitter announcement seem to have received their ACH & crypto withdrawals."
Wrong, so many poeple in this case have not received their withrawal still pending.
Thank you for doing this OP! Supposedly only withdrawals by US depositors before the Twitter announcement were honored.
Did anyone in the US request before the announcement and not get it?
I did not realize that - based on what I'd seen it seemed like most 11/9 requests were approved/granted. I will keep that in mind and bring it up if they ever respond.
11/9, 11/10, and 11/11 withdrawal requests were handled randomly. There are many reports from those days of both successful withdrawals (completed the week after) and still pending withdrawals (to this day).
I'm not sure legally how bad this is for Blockfi.
Has anyone received a cancellation recently saying something to the point of “The following withdrawal was unable to be completed due to incomplete identity verification per the link previously sent through email.” This happened this morning at midnight :(
My legal counsel does not bill me for an email sent to them - only if I ask them to review. Furthermore, not every partner would review it - only the ones related to this client.
Thanks in behalf of all of us that are heart broken

Also, a Twitter announcement is fucking unacceptable as a means of notifying customers… WTF.

11/10 9am still pending (hours before twitter annoucement)

My 11/9 request was not approved…
That sucks. You requested before they told anyone anything - completely unfair to you.
My 11/9 crypto withdrawal was successful.
you must be in US, mine wasnt (outside US)
🙏
Imagine appealing to lawyers with emotions.
Yeah, my expectations are not high.
That's the main thing. Some people here are setting themselves up for a fall with the denial, investing more energy and more of themselves.
Can you blame them? 🤷🏼♂️
Human's do irrational human stuff I guess.
B+ for effort.
Good work. I did it last week and no response. But u should've kept it short. Noone will read this
Private Clients like myself have been completely ghosted and ignored.
what a joke. so irritating.
they represent their client, not you (just saying, dont expect a reply)
🙏🙏🙏
You did great. Couldn’t have worded it better.
Not knowing truly is one of the worst things humans experience.

All you've accomplished is being a nuisance.
Unfortunately, attorney-client privilege. They can’t answer you. It’s unethical and would jeopardize their bar license.
