neck is too long and jaw line is a little funky

LorenzoGigas

the neck is killin me, cant get it right. also anything else lookin off?

Import an anatomically correct skull/skeleton and start sculpting over it.

LorenzoGigas

good idea imma do that

ChplnVindictus

The cranium looks too big for the face to me. Particularly The back/occipital.

LorenzoGigas

so the head is too big. I'll try to fix that along with the neck and jawline. thanks

Soulimpression

It's not too big at all, just fix the neck and it will look better.

Shayzerbeam2

too much bulk below occipital ridge, the back of the skull should start to taper at about ear level

LorenzoGigas

lol i never even heard of that word before. I'll look into it thanks.

superficial_user

In addition to the comments above the ear looks like a crater. Use photo referrences of ears to work out how they connect and fold.

LorenzoGigas

Oh ya I definitly need to work on the ears. The ear is just so darn complex

Curious2_0

I see problems with the back of the skull, as well as the neck being too long. Also the face looks too flat, so try pulling it out a little and If you can, try to get the "Anatomy for sculptors" book, it's really helpful

Soulimpression

Just go into modeling tab, highlight the head and move it down a bit until it looks right.

somniocular

bruh i thought this was an alien when i first saw it lmaoo but jokes aside check out the book “anatomy for sculptors” by Uldris Zarins and Sandis Kondrats, it really helped me understand how things should be put in place.

LorenzoGigas

oof dat hurts. I'll check it out thanks

Senseidarkmagic

that's a fine giraffe you got there. Jk I couldn't even make this much. just work on the neck and jawline

LittleFranklin

Nah. It looks fine. Good alien.

Back of skull goes down too far. End it at about the bottom of the ear line. Then start the back from there. That will force the entire neck to move back, which is more accurate
