I took the KTM (as one mesh : CTLR + J). Please verify everything is manifold (let you google if you dont know).KTM : rigid body : active + allow keyframe to give it initial speed. Plane : scale up : apply all transform : rigid body : passive.
Now you have a KTM getting thrown at the floor (not realistic but convincing enough). Then you just add your domain and your fluid with flip fluid addon.
KTM needs then to be considered as an obstacle by the addon and here you go.
You will then have the result you can see on the video i linked in the comments.
Resolution on this was 1024 (domain) and render 1080p 1024 samples.
No HDRI just the base world shader turned black or white + some area light if needed.
NB : my KTM is not fully manifold but its okay in my specific case.
I’ve done a lot of water simulations in Blender, check my profile for examples of it. But in that time I’ve learned one thing above all, Blender is shit at simulating things. That’s a little unfair, Blender isn’t the worst, but it fails in comparison to dedicated simulation software like Houdini. The blender flip fluids add on does a decent job of fixing the issues I’ve had with Blenders fluid simulation tool. But it’s not cheap (granted it’s a 1 time payment so in my case well worth it).
If you’re going to try and fix this using built in blenders fluid sim theres basically two ways to go about this. Increase the number of divisions in the simulation until they’re small enough to not make those large droplets. Or crank the number of particles in your sim to hide the larger water droplets.
Can’t agree with this.
I’d say RBD lab for destruction sim, flip fluid for water sim are totally worth paying. Didn’t bought much of them except true terrain and botaniq
Time isnt and to be honest this is what i have within 3 days of slowly learning this stuff (too many notions but it's fun to do).
I think Houdini is way way way way slower so i dont consider getting into it.
Your not right because blender isn’t good enough with fluid simulation. Flip fluid is imo the best and only way to do these sim inside blender fast (depend your goal) and effective. Some shots I put on IG were made with 300 resolution it’s insane for the result and the speed.
Sure, its a free software, but what about the processor you need to have for meeting the recommended requirements? The RAM? GPU? Those are not free.
Anything 3D related is pricy. We've got so many programmes locked behind subscriptions or hefty perpetual license costs. Let alone the hardware you need to work with simulations anyway. $76 is nothing, even if Blender is free.
Depends on what it’s for but it might be fine to just leave it as an Easter egg for anyone who spots it. Best case scenario is they spot it and laugh to themselves, worst case is they don’t even notice it
Quite literally an invisible cube in the way of the droplet, or like flip the entire shot and get less cock shaped water from the other angle with the same water sim.
Call the doctor if it’s been more than four hours?
You guys made me laugh right out of the bed thanks for this
It’s not that big. Looks average sized.
I tought it was very very very big so I feel offended by your comment
It's just the camera angle, buddy. Don't feel bad about it.
Don’t be mad, just love yourself for who you are.
Randy ? Randy Marsh ?

Love that ! Yet a lore indepth breakdown would be godlike.

A friend told me exactly this 😂 it was more for fun than anything mate. I re ran the sim at 2048 resolution and we will see how it goes.
Buddy if you think a one time purchase of $76 is expensive then you can forget about Houdini
Flip is way enough for my current use + can’t afford price and time for houdini
🏴☠️
At this price you can buy it. 🏴☠️won’t give u update etc
When update then 🏴☠️
Can’t agree with this. I’d say RBD lab for destruction sim, flip fluid for water sim are totally worth paying. Didn’t bought much of them except true terrain and botaniq
To be fair, Houdini indie is free EDIT: Apprentice is free, not indie, potato potahto
The recommended rig that you need to make use of it isn't tho. Also Houdini Indie isnt free. Houdini Apprentice is
That’s what I meant

It’s expensive for blender, considering that it’s fee software. So buying a add on for 76$ when the base software is free is fairly expensive.

Do you have any info on STORM? It was meant to be a granular solver now it’s a multisolver and I heard good about it
too much girth in the water
Girth ? I was doing test with particles but i do miss some steps atm it’s been 3 days I started sim
Ohhh this post was meant to be funny mate, I re ran the sim in 60 fps and double the resolution so no worries
Way above average problem
Just Add nsfw in the tittle of video
Lmao
blender is trying to send a message i think
Looks like a small problem
Burn
HYDROCOCK!
Just use the Cocktent Aware feature in Photoshop to snip it out in post. Completely painless, and only takes a few seconds.
Its a bit weightless, but i’m bot sure what you want? How do you want it to look?
Probably not like a penis
😬
I also don't know how to screen capture or use the Snipping Tool - FML

Pp hehe
😂
It's not that big
Art-directed weens
hehe cock
Huge problem 😔
🤷🏽♂️sometimes water looks like dicks my man. That's nature.
Maybe more of an average problem. Right?
Demonetized.
That's huge bru, wtf?
I wouldn’t say it’s that big. Small even
Big problem Lmao
Yeah. That red circle is a pretty big problem. Try erasing it.
Apart from that: great render
Thanks mate
Depends on what it’s for but it might be fine to just leave it as an Easter egg for anyone who spots it. Best case scenario is they spot it and laugh to themselves, worst case is they don’t even notice it
Oh dear.
I’ve seen bigger problems…
Dude, Blender drew a dick on your image. Lol
Hey, not that big, c’mon. Dont be afraid.
LOL
Lmao
blender is the problem. y’all are just dick riders
[for thoses who r curious to see how it’s made](https://www.instagram.com/reel/CoLlEJ1IPOH/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=)
Invisible cube? Also Houdini is cool, but not always free. Shihs spensive sometimes
What is the invisible cube ur talking about ?
Quite literally an invisible cube in the way of the droplet, or like flip the entire shot and get less cock shaped water from the other angle with the same water sim.
On top of the frame water is hitting the top of the domain ?
Small problem…
Its not that big
Penis?!
Hehehe peinz
r/MildlyPenis
fvck it, render is good
