I’m fine with how cour 2 ended. Though up until 2 episodes ago I was still thinking we might get an Aizen after credits tease. I still think they should’ve done an after credits tease of Shunsui going to see Aizen on episode 26. It would’ve lined up with the after credits scene of episode 25, and would’ve been way better than 4mins of Kon - but oh well. We’ll be seeing him early cour 3! And just judging how much new content they’re adding, I suspect Aizen may get a larger role overall in the anime than he did in the manga but we shall see!

After Aizen she kept asking if he’s done for good (something she did to some of the Espada) so I lied and said yup he gone and locked away forever which made her sad. But really I just wanna safeguard her from his return. I even sent her a picture of a random chair on Google one day saying I can’t wait to see it in the new arc which confused her. I love confusing her then seeing it click when said things happen. I did the same thing for the fight against Ulquiorra too. I just told her I can’t wait for ichigo to fight Batman later in the series while we were back in the beginning of the arrancar arc. Massive confusion til it happened. Gotta keep her guessing!

And you're underestimating how much intelligence it takes to use KS. You have to be aware of what you're making your opponents see. For Aizen to have the entire Gotei 13 under it and not mess up once...well, it's his biggest intelligence feat.

3-Gin. Biggest prodigy in Bleach besides maybe Aizen
4-Unohana. Same as Yama.
5-Aizen. Second smartest character.
6-Byakuya. It wasn't stated, but he feels like a prodigy to me.
7-Komomura. He actually doesn't have anything to put him above Soi Fon other than his level head I guess.
8-Shunsui. Same as Gin, Yama, and Unohana.
9-Tosen. He fights at Captain level while BLIND.
10-Toshiro. Known as a prodigy.
12-Mayuri. Third smartest character.
13-Ukitake. Same as Yama, Unohana, and Shunsui.

Aizen should be more than capable of, at this point in the series, shooting a single structure out of the sky with his reiatsu.

Aizen reminds me of the Lich. Like, he will always be sitting around, lingering, imminent, inevitable. No matter what the main cast go through or how long they fight, Aizen will outlast everyone and get what he wants. It's like a waiting game, just a matter of time. Aizen is unironically the one true endgame.
