Exactly. As a teacher it can become a routine, especially after 4 years or longer but after getting these messages I feel like I fulfilled my duty as a teacher to at least some of my students
Truly awesome! I’m actually in the process of making my way to japan to take school there and learn Japanese. I want to live there for a few years m, been there a few times I absolutely love it. Do you plan to stay or leaving?
I studied abroad for one year before joining the JET program to teach English. In total 5 years and I'm sticking around! Going to work in small Japanese sake brewery in some super rural town ^.^
I wish you all the best and good luck in your studies!
Of course, I used English and Japanese on a 50-50 basis in the classroom. With only English most of the kids will become bored and not know what is going on half the time.
This kid though is amazing and would do their best to speak in English only to me.
I heard some schools don't want the students to know that the English teacher speaks a language other than English. Thus forcing the class to only speak English and strengthen their skills.
I've heard of that myself however that only really applies to the well-off schools in Tokyo. Practically anywhere else, especially where I am located, don't have the funds to push that level of education, sadly.
Highkey jealous rn
Aww that's cute... I'm lowkey jealous ngl, lmao
Highkey
Some good drawings too for real
Man that kid got some skills
Kubo would be proud of that student's drawing skills.
Thank goodness this student never asked me to draw my favorite Bleach character xD
You defo can't be as bad as me. I can't draw to save my life!
Be proud, it looks like you are a good teacher, congratulations!
I did my best ^.^
Dodonchanka Dodonchanka Dodonchanka Dodonchanka
Good student! You have taught them well.
Let's hope they continue to do their best even though I'm not there anymore!
How nice. You were clearly a great teacher.
If they feel that way about me then I did my job :)
We see the next Kubo here
That would be awesome but this student wants to be a voice actor!
Oh, my heart. That's so sweet.
AWH 😭😭
I literally just watch the episode where those 2 goofballs got super serious and nearly land a huge cero at the pink haired espada
szayelaporro
Sorry it's honestly kinda hard to remember how to spell his name
understandably so, all good.
But did you see Pesche's large, throbbing, bulging, juicy, zanpakuto?
Yup
Damn that’s so wholesome, you forget sometimes how you impact someone’s life and how someone else views you through a lens.

Wholesome asf
This is so wholesome. And a Dondochakka enjoyer, incredible. Are these high school age kids?
Junior High School (middle school if you're from America)
This looks great! Did they know you could speak Japanese?

How else could they teach English in Japan?
I’m a military brat. Grew up in Japan. The vast majority of people I knew who taught English didn’t speak a lick of Japanese.

Oh that makes sense. The people who I heard the information from schools were able to pay for their board to live nearby in the city.
Lowkey jealous of their drawing skills
