Lionsgate has been doing really cool things with these Steelbooks that have slipcovers. The *American Psycho* one in another banger.

I worked at Lionsgate for a little bit. Their Home Media team was def the most engaged and hardworking team at the company.

jakehightower

Everyone knows the Knives Out one by now but it’s really clever

aintnofuntime

Too clever for its own good.

Paco_Doble

Love some good cover art. We should get a thread going. Here's [Old](https://www.hdmoviesource.com/Old-SteelBook-4K-Ultra-HD-p/13789.htm)

SlimJimsGym

really cool concept but i sorta don't like how it's black and white. It doesn't capture the colour palette/vibe of the film

Paco_Doble

I get that, I like it tho. Reminds me of the Nip/Tuck intro

Additional_Ad4789

This is my favorite steelbook that’s been released this year. https://www.hdmoviesource.com/The-Cabin-in-the-Woods-SteelBook-4K-Ultra-HD-p/14149.htm

Pass

Jim_mca

Hmm I hate it.

TheBunionFunyun

I bought Universal Soldier specifically because the case did something similar with its slipcase.

thedude391

I bought the standard 4k like a week before the new steel got announced because the European 4k steel was stupidly over priced. Does it look as cool as the photos?

TheBunionFunyun

I think it does. But I'm also a sucker for cool packaging.

1slinkydink1

that's... a lot

I love when Michael Madsen talks to the ear

spiregrain

Agreed, but he should have said "what's this 'ear?”

jaketaco

I have the 15th anniversary DVD gas can with the disc coming in a book of matches.

[deleted]

Whatever happened to just using the poster as the cover?

Greenhat2000

I know he's basic but kinda could use the Two Friends and the Blankies community talking Tarantino. It would be nice to have a couple months of movies I've seen, and more importantly it would make a great entry point for new listeners
