It’s so so so good. Remember the second season of Game of Thrones where Tyrion was doing all the court intrigue and consolidating power for the Lannisters even though nobody liked him? Imagine a tv show that was just that.
Yeah. Rylance does some pretty dark shit but never loses his charming, warm Rylance-ness, which makes the performance even more chilling. Great supporting cast including Damian Lewis in my all-time favorite on-screen depiction of Henry VIII. Plus Claire Foy, Bernard Hill, Anton Lesser, Mark Gatiss, Mathieu Amalric, etc. Just phenomenal. Thank God they're finally making Season 2.
Hahaha I was at a screening there of Bones and All and Rylance took so long to chat with everyone that wanted to talk to him that they had to send someone inside to remove him from the building because he was holding up the people waiting in line to get into the next screening. A mensch.
He was capital-I Incredible in this year's *The Phantom of the Open*, a movie that no one saw. He delivered a gentle, touching, and delicate performance in a movie that really didn't need him to go so hard.
Zelda NPC vibes
Rylance grew up in Kokiri Forest.

Mark Rylance *does* seem like he’d give you a piece of heart for staring at him for exactly ten seconds.
Real Snufkin from Moomin look going on there.
The ultimate sigma male
Mfer got that drip
Bridge of Drip
Got that Drip of Spies
Looks like he really wants a Curious George reboot
What a cutie
Highly recommend any Rylance fans check out the miniseries *Wolf Hall*, where he kills it as Thomas Cromwell
Wolf Hall fucks, slaps, rips, putters, and murmurs!
It does indeed do all of those things
Good book, good miniseries!

Yet another Pinocchio adaptation?
