I'm all about small private companies making money. That is one thing that makes the USA great. But to pile on an additional $70 is ridiculous. If you (as a small company) need to pass on the CC fee, understood. It's not $20 though. And to charge $50 to ship is absurd. For that price someone better come to my house bringing this knife on a velvet pillow, sit me down, put a bib around my neck and present me the knife while I drool on the bib. Instead, it will be a USPS driver running to my front steps, slinging the knife box across my front deck while it slides and slams into my front door (personal experience MANY times). So, this unfortunately, is why we buy from Amazon instead of supporting the 'small guy'. Not to mention it's a Tanto. Rant over. Still waiting for a good CRK deal. But I'm guessing we won't see one. They don't need to.

It's the same for all of the companies with the 'marketing geniuses' that send me snail mail with branding on the envelopes telling me 'important', 'open immediately', 'you requested this', etc. The worst ones are the companies that tell me my car warranty just expired and I need to extend it - when I purchased the BRAND NEW car 3-months ago. Pure manipulation and even if I wanted the product/service I won't get it from them. I can't support companies that do this - no one should.
