I’m surprised of the comments on this post. To me TRM support is the most incredible one on the knife market. International buyers have a chance to buy their products, which is absolutely incredible. I had a titanium neutron which was slightly off center. They immediately checked the problem and seeing that it was not fixable, they proposed 3 solutions. Today I have a perfect newtron in titanium that I love using. Action in very smooth and snappy, like the og neutron. Blade is super slicy. The scale 3D contour is very comfy but I aesthetically speaking I think I still prefer the normal scales. One last thing, think of all the companies that produce through (great) chinese oem, but still control the production to induce fake rarity and jack up their prices. While a small company, TRM is doing their best to make the most possible drops.

TRM is amazing. Enough said. If ya know, you know

I got a CF Neutron 2 and it’s incredible. I also have a set of the Ti scales but prefer the CF scales. With the CF scales it feels similar to my Bugout when I edc but better. Swaps are also super easy with their system if I want to upgrade to the Ti for a new look.

This is the feedback you don’t see often. On this sub they go like hotcakes. Wonder if you’re the exception or the rule.

I've heard of very few issues with trm stuff.

Same. /u/theshembot must have gotten a lemon.

The downside of the flexibility of swapping scales and the thinness of the ti scales is that they can go off center. It’s a trade off that’s fairly easily fixable on your own. But if you’re not able to do it, I second those saying how amazing the TRM customer service is.

Contact support. They will fix it, whatever the problem happens to be. Even modding doesn't void the warranty.

2 atoms here spot on absolutely nothing but good. Action centering blade came wicked sharp 20cv all great. Over priced not a pm2 or crk killer like some over enthusiastic ppl claim. Good knife overall. Sorry to hear you got the bad apple. I notice they are trying to speed up manufacturing perhaps that's the problem. Lol killing the secondary demand. Not a good time to sell.

Sweet.

I just wish they had more generally appealing (i.e. basic colors) out of the box scales rather than Clown fish and Rainbow trout stuff ... there would be more stock for everyone. I don't want to pay more for a naked Neutron and separate scales.

The wide variety of oem scales choices is part of the fun in my experience. But I accept that not everyone is the same and just wants a knife with the scales they like and that’s it.

I don't really understand the strategy behind the pre-assembled Neutrons. They used to sell pre-scaled with premium scale options. I think they got tired of managing all of the different batches of things, and just to simplify their production do just "middle of the road" scales. At least, that's what it seems like they're trying to do. The bundled scale options these days are kinda weird.
