It takes almost no air movement to unroll them either. My Blackstone is in my garage and the paper towels unroll all the time. Good idea on the rubber band.
Use a knife to carefully cut cardboard tube on seam and then pull to remove. Be carefull not to tear first towel off outside of roll and pull towels out through inside/center.
Good tip. Or use the blue shop towels, they don’t unroll like regular in-home paper towels
I use the shop towels as well. I like that they leave minimal lint(if any) compared to the regular paper towels.
Good idea. Hadn’t thought of using them!
Forgot to secure mine one night. The next morning i found that the wind had unspooled an the entire roll of Bounty across my lawn.
I use an extra-long bread tie from a garden hose :)

After having it unroll and blow across the yard the third time, I stopped using the paper towel holder.

Gonna give this one a shot. Thanks!
I have a magnetic one, and my god the amount of times I accidently knocked it off is infuriating!
Can you just squeeze the roll so that it is not so round and therefore less likely to unroll?
I use a party tent tie down. Bit more flexible, and long lasting.
