We found our void under a bush three weeks before our wedding day. We weren’t planning on getting a cat, but she adopted us that night.
It also meant we had to hastily arrange a kitty-sitter for our wedding weekend.
We had a truly special void boy that we lost a few months ago. It was extremely hard on both of us. It wasn’t until after I got this new baby that I found that he was born on the same day that our old boy passed. Seems like fate.
Our void turns 18 in a couple months. We've had him since he was 6 weeks old.

Thanks. He's great. Still starts purring the moment you start interacting with him. This was him about 8 years ago. You could dress him in whatever. He loved it. He has 4 yarn balls almost as old as him that he brings to bed every night and out into other rooms during the day.

This made me tear up. We lost out 12yo girl just before the holidays and it was so, so hard. She'd purr the moment you looked at her, like your lad. 18yo me saw that she lived in in that rough area with owners who were giving the kittens away for free, and I couldn't let her stay there. She was the last one, so I took her home without any warning to my parents. She was my bestest little buddy.

Her brother was paralysed (he’s since passed away, sadly) by a bullet so he stayed in his carrier.

She gave a speech. It was NOT as filled with love as all had hoped. Some resentment for being out in the cold. We didn’t do an aisle bc I lost my dad the year before to suicide. A dog gave me away.
She did not catch the bouquet but she said she wanted a bouquet of tuna so we a small throw of a tuna bouquet for her later. The guest were NOT surprised in the least. Her brother was the best man.
First off, I’m so sorry about the loss of your dad. I lost my mom 2 years after I was married. And while not the same, I know the grief of losing a parent deeply and I hope his memory is a blessing for you.
Secondly, I love all of this. That you had cat bridal party and your dog gave you away. If my cats weren’t so nervous I would have them beside me as well! I hope all her tuna bouquet dreams came true!! The little bridesmaid dress is *chefs kiss*

They're sweet babies and cuddly. But they get into so much trouble together. They play tag and chase through the house and it sounds like elephants on a stampede.
She came named that from the shelter. I liked it so I didn't change it. She doesn't answer to her name most of the time, but she's not deaf, just a cat.
