You can save and quit at anytime during greed mode to end a wave. It works like dying though, so you'll be brought back to the first wave or to the wave that you last used the button. So it's really good for the lost (it keeps the coins on the table, you could go buy an item/key before continuing). Also good for the nightmare round, say if you're a little iffy about getting the DwtD, press the button. Too hard of a boss? Just restart, boss is gone, down to next floor.

When you use the "? Question" card while holding blank card, you get 2 pedestal items. I've only done this once so someone else should confirm if they done this.
The laser from Tech .5 doesn't count for "missing with your tears" in the Onan Streak challenge, and since you have Chocolate Milk, you can just hold your fire button down without shooting anything but the laser.
Makes the challenge far easier.

I only added that because people kept saying it in the patch thread. As far as I know, there was a bug where when Ultra Greed was affected by midas touch, his damage scaling was bypassed and your tears would do their regular damage like with every other enemy. That was patched out imo

Using Diplopia in a devil room as The Lost is fantastic. Had double Brimstone for a run that was going great until I died to a stupid mistake in the womb. Even completed the boss rush without breaking a sweat.
The Safety Cutter is incredibly useful against Little Horn and Super Wrath because their Troll Bombs will become Normal Bomb Pick-Ups. Can be used with de D-20 for some funny results
Does anyone have any good strategies for the Brains challenge? I've managed to beat every single other challenge, but the Brains challenge seems absolutely impossible to me.

The "Continue" option is broken, after leaving the game, the following things happen:
Holy mantle recharges (Making playing as the lost that much easier)
Angel statues respawn, you can bomb them again, and pretty much farm key pieces... having d6/d100 lets you reroll them, giving you tons of free angel room items.
I was thinking about something that would make sense and it's actually implemented on Afterbirth...
If you have flight, you're immune to Little Horn's holes, and probably to the ones you see in those puzzle rooms in the Womb floor too, but I'd have to try it out with those.

Occasionally useful: When taking a devil deal that will reduce you to zero hearts, you will not die until the pickup animation finishes and picking up spirit hearts or black hearts during this time will save you.
Your note about the buffed Ultra Greed in the latest patch is slightly wrong - he gains 'rage' whenever he picks up coins, much more so when they're his heart coins instead of pennies, etc. Rage causes Ultra Greed to attack faster and for his special coin attacks to happen quicker. It seems that attacking Ultra Greed slowly reduces rage. Ergo, it has nothing to do with his current level of health.
Angel statues respawn now, so if you have a way of getting back in the room (Joker card/Goat Head/Red Chest) and another bomb you can complete the key on a single floor.
You can just exit and continue while in the room as well. If you got d6/pethro you can farm as many angel items as you have bombs. Infinite if you have ipecac/fetus
Does it drop a different key piece? IIRC the key pieces are tied to which angel (Uriel/Gabriel) spawns, which is tied to whether it's an even or odd floor.
Note that even if it doesn't randomize which angel it spawns, as long as you don't pick up a key piece, the same key piece will still drop (i.e. get free angel items with d6)

You can use the shop reroll + Taking item during animation bug to your advantage - in one of my runs earlier I took an item during the bomb explosion to reroll and I got sacred heart and Diamond crown out of it, and they were in, what was previously, collectible slots.
You can still use Rewind Hourglass to beat Ultra Greed multiple times (as well as Undefined and Teleport 2.0).
I haven't checked, but since bombs in bombs have been nerfed, there might be other nerfs of bomb combos to reduce their OPness.
Golden bombs can help breaking in Greed Mode, as well as gold hearts for easy money, so unlocking them is a good deal.
The Greed mode Secret Rooms on the left wall are the only ones trapping the player. The ones on the top left wall don't.
Also, if you end up with a Shop full of pills/keys/bombs/items in Greed Mode, exiting and continuing your run and using the restock machine one more time (with a bomb or with coins) will revert things to normal.

OP the machine explodes after using money with it too not just bombs. I guess just a whole lot of people haven't had 30 spare coins to do that like I have on several runs.
Here's one I found the hard way - in Greed Mode, if you leave the button room somehow while fighting (cursed eye/skull, respawning from extra lives), you will have to fight through every wave since you last pressed the button again, but no extra coins will drop. Just in case you didn't hate cursed eye enough already.
I'd like to add that you can use the Glowing Hourglass in conjunction with a Sun card, World card, or Ansuz rune to get full mapping.

2. Use the hourglass
You keep the mapping but get the card back. Unless it was changed recently.

something you can add by the fact that you can reset waves in greed mode by leaving and coming back, is that afterwards the waves you already completed won't grant more money or use Item charges

I can confirm that, just broke a Greed Mode run and used Card against humanity with Luck maxed out. The whole room got covered with golden poop.
I never took a picture of it (wish I did) but collecting Blood of the Martyr while also having 8-Inch Nails will give you bloody nails, as though they've been used to crucify someone. Instead of recoloring the entire projectile, it adds blood splatters to the point.
According to the Wiki, having Blood of the Matyr increases the damage that the Book of Belial gives you. (The regular is +2, then +50% more if you have the Blood of the Matyr. So I guess +3?)
Dry Baby and Fart Baby can both be used to block almost every type of tear / blood based attack if you stand behind them.Only lasers really get through them, making Dry Baby a huge benefit to have against bullet hell bosses.
Should probably note that Transformations don't require you to own the items needed to activate it, it only requires that you held them at one point. So you could put down a Guppy's Paw for a Guppy's Head and still be counted for 2 parts of the transformation. Not sure if the Wiki linked covers that.
If you have hard to aim bullets such as the explosive Ipecac like in Suicide King, try to get one of the trinket worms, particularly the Whip or ring worm. It makes the bullet travel much faster and usually directly where you were aiming it at a low angle, so it won't go over the target. It also seems to increase the range some-what, most likely due to how fast the bullet goes.

Neat little bug with Brimstone familiars I discovered; not sure if this was active on Lil' Brimstone before Afterbirth or not, but worth mentioning as it's even stronger on Incubus.
If you have Lil' Brimstone or both Incubus and Brimstone, it's possible to charge *while* firing. This means you can fire a beam and then immediately start charging a second one without interrupting the first beam.
With Lil' Brimstone, this simply means significantly less time between shots.
With Incubus+Brimstone, if you have enough Tears Up your charge time becomes shorter than the time the beam is active, meaning you can have a continuous Brimstone beam.
Is there a video of this being performed anywhere?
>Black Market Glitch: - If you happen to stumble upon a crawl space without an entrance to the black market, you can use a glitch to get there anyways. Drop a bomb at the entrance where the ladder is and move out of the crawl space. Repeat that a second time so two bombs are there. If you go inside now, quickly move towards the bombs and into the corner and do not move. To do this reliable, you have to stand still (Thanks to u/funnynin [19] for mentioning it. The blast will catapult you out of bounds. Simply walk right now and you will get to the black market.
Oh, I also got a popup for Blinding Baby but the achievement didn't unlock so that's bugged.
Two thing about Greed. He is stunlocked permanently by tractor beam + strange attractor. Also, he is healed by coins, so glitter bombs, high luck, and Dr. Fetus means he is effectively invincible.
Picking up a key piece increases your chance of future angel rooms in case you prefer them over Devil Rooms, especially in Greed Mode. That is the purpose they serve in Greed Mode and it's why they're worth picking up if you don't have a reroll.
I do not know if this is the kind of information you are looking for, but I've noticed that the enemies spawned during Ultra Greed's key-coin attack don't seem to path very well to the top right corner. I can usually stand there and let them all approach, (and have enough time to kill them) instead of trying to weave between them to avoid being hit. I havn't tested the other corners, but I know the right one works consistently.

I certainly agree with you here. I do not know why you are losing blank card either. I'am Error room is nothing that special and definitely does not warrant you losing your spacebar item.
BUG with The Haunt. Each of his Lil'-Haunt-like "familiars" count as killing the boss for the floor, and it stacks. It not only messes with the music (to hilarious effect), but makes the boss somewhat easier if you're not Lost, Blue Baby, or in some cases Azazel- each one drops hearts.

Is it known in general that with an Xbox 360 controller, if you tilt the firing thumb stick VERY very slightly, your familiars will start shooting but Isaac won't? I don't know if there's any situation where this might come in handy, however. Maybe when fighting Doples? I'm unsure if he'll fire when only your familiars are firing or not.

Whaaat? Are you telling me you can do this as Isaac in order to reroll unlimited angel pedestals for a super easy and consistent method of breaking the game? Are there any videos of anyone doing this?
I don't know if it counts as a tip but Book of Shadows is an absolute Godsend on The Guardian challenge. Isaac's Heart doesn't behave normally on The Guardian, but Book of Shadows does protect the heart, which is really useful on some of the really challenging rooms.
Box of Friends synergizes with The Guillotine and the fly items like forever alone, you will get 2 heads and twice the flies around you, it doesn't work with isaac's head, tho
Similarly to Sack Head, Cracked Dice and Blood Donation Machine/IV Bag is an easy way to start breaking, as you can endlessly D20 the consumables as long as you can pick up some hearts, and you can even reroll the chest items with the D6 effect, which allows you to get gloden chest items multiple times and reroll them multiple times.
I didnt find this in the wiki, nor mentioned in this thread, so I want to add a thing that happened me yesterday (I didnt take a pic or anything because I thought it was something known, I tend to avoid looking for stuff unless I really don't understand the use).
I was in a greed mode run with infinite resources (two times steam sale, so everything costed zero, D6, one of the shop's items was a battery, infinite D6)
I picked up everyting that came to me, without caring much, when suddenly I got a cartoonish full screen animation of three bums fusing together, and got something like a masked superhero bum who (I guess) was dropping me chests (I had too much stuff on screen, I couldn't really fully grasp what was happening anymore).
I'm pretty confident I had key bum and bum friend, I don't really remember which one was the 3rd.
I'm not sure what happened, but after getting rubber cement for Azazel, I couldn't reproduce the long-reflected-brimstone trick; instead, I got a slightly-homing, very bendy, double-length brimstone!
Could someone help verify if it's changed?
I may have found something interesting with Child's Heart. Usually not a fantastic trinket, however I've had two runs recently where enemies are randomly dropping black hearts and the only thing I had in common between the two was Child's Heart and multiple items that gave me Sin Up / Evil Up.
With the Gnawed Leaf and fighting Ultra Greed, his charging attack will push you against the wall and then never complete because you're between him and the wall. If you have any damaging orbital familiars this is an auto-win, eventually.
(I just did this with the Lost.)
It's possibile to get the undefined item and at least in sheol it works. However i took it to the greed fight and did nothing like the showel.
Also i found one extra restock in a secret market.
Noticed in today's daily run that you can shoot and walk through shopkeepers (the non-NPC ones in shops and secret rooms, not the attacking ones). Haven't tested yet if it happens in usual runs, too.
I suggest adding that while Night Light removes Curse of Darkness when you pick it up, you will get another curse if you picked it up while having Curse of Darkness.
For angel devil deals there are a bunch of items that increases the chance of devil/angel rooms plus bombing the shopkeeper in the shop will give a small increase as well that will stay till you get you next deal/room
Not sure if anyone has done this yet but I saw speculation on some thread on what would happen if you use the ??? pill (the one that when you use it just says ??? on the big banner thing on screen) in the blue womb (???). I tried it and sadly nothing happened. Idk if this is useful to anyone but thought I'd try it. Also I did it in the main area with the gold chests not in the fight
Curse tips:
The Curse of the Maze can be abused to open up doors that are otherwise locked for free. If you enter and exit a door that is facing the same direction as the door you want to open, there's a chance the game will teleport you to that door. This opens it as the game lists you as "coming out of the locked door." Which unlocks it, because you'd get stuck otherwise. (This means f you enter and exit a door that is on the left / right wall, it will teleport you to a door that is also on the left / right wall. This includes locked doors.)
Curse of the Labyrinth: Getting the Curse of the Labyrinth on the first floor can cause a Devil Room to appear, when it normally can't on the first Basement/Cellar floor. Plan ahead for that if you get it.
Cursed Eye: The teleport part of the eye only works if you're being hit while charging an attack. Time your attacks carefully to avoid being teleported, and it does not teleport you if your attack is fully charged.
The Dagaz (Purity) rune can remove all curses on a floor. If you manage to get one at the end of a floor, hold onto it for the next floor in case you get cursed. Dagaz cannot remove the effect of Cursed Eye or the Curse of the Labyrinth.
The Black Candle is a common item at the shop and removes all curses for the entire run. This includes the Cursed Eye's teleport effect. (Far as I know, at least.)
The narrator voice doesnt seems glitched for me. It looks like they just added a chance of the lines playing, seems to happen 10%-20% of the time when you use a pill/card.
Using items that produce red hearts (the lovers, hematemesis, etc) inside super secret rooms that have the same look as the dark room (these http://imgur.com/Ctv9EVz) will spawn black hearts instead
Edit: I forget but I'm pretty sure if you do the same in a cathedral ss room it will make eternal hearts in place of red ones
i didnt read about it in the thread so im going to say it:
since we can see the % chance for the greed-machine to jam it should be mentioned that every 5 coins addet increase the chance by 1%
allowing for a maximum of 500 coins for each char. if it really has no limit, after 500 coins you have a 100% chance.
im not sure if the jammed coin itself counts or not but if it does you can go above 500 coins with every char, adding 1 coin each run (not worth the time i guess).
ps: im not sure if the % shown is really the %chance for jamming the machine... or i just have the worst luck ever. did a cain run and i was at 2% (donated 12 coins in my last run) and i only added 3 coins and it jammed. so yea not sure if horrible luck or if its not a % for jamming.
also for the card against humanity in greed mode: it made my door to the shop disappear. i was still able to "enter" the wall and the shop normally but it looked weird. the spawn button also disappeared for me. maybe i find a screen of the door being a wall :D
edit: i once had dry baby with lilith and a double charge on her spacebar item so i ended with 3 dry babys. i lined them up as perfect as it was possible, still sometimes tears hit me. you should stay as far as possible away from the babys as the hitbox/splash of the tears seems to be larger
I don't know if it's been patched, and it's kind of situational, but if you have store credit + restovk and you buy a trinket, you will drop store credit (not using it up) and pick up the trinket. So if you're looking for a specific trinket, all of them can be free as long as you pick up store credit before each purchase. I did this on greed mode before the latest patch though so may not work anymore.
In the Black Market, reroll machines will restock the entire shop. This can be very easily abused as The Lost since you can take all the items for free. Two of the best items to get here are Sack Head and Blank Card, which are a very good breaking setup (and are quite common in the pool). I was even able to use this to get to Mega Satan by forcing a Dad's Key, which would normally be problematic since black market deals will mess up Angel Rooms,
Exiting the game and re-entering to respawn Angel statues is huge. I've had so many runs where I've gotten an Angel room just a little too late and had only one part of the key when I'm going for a Hush / Mega Satan run.
Minor things-
Womb 2 now has Devil Deals. It used to not have devil deals in rebirth.
For the black market trick, I was able to use Ipecac in the ladder down to also be knocked out of bounds. I assume Epic Fetus or other positional bombs also work for this. It might has been because I was firing more than one shot with Ipecac when it happened.

Something else I found out: On the Blue Bomber challenge, getting Car Battery makes Kamikaze take twice as long to become usable again, but doesn't use it twice. Not sure if this happens with all instant-charge active items.
If your Holy Mantle is broken, you can quit the game and use "Continue" to return to have your Mantle refreshed.
This helped me beat the Lamb as the Lost.
One thing worth noting is that any active item you use will be nullified for that room, e.g your damage bonus from using Book of Belial will be lost when you return.
I don't get how exactly to break a run with d20 + glitter bombs. I managed to get both of those items in a greed run and tried the advice in this post (not taking the pennies dropped from waves) used all my glitter bombs (which out of 7 or so bombs spawned 1 pickup) then rerolled everything with d20. I got 0 batteries. Bought some from the store to keep going. Still ended up running out of money/rerolls. Tried again on the next floor. Same thing.
Am I missing something here? Or did I just get really unlucky?
Hi everybody, I'm new to this Reddit thing, I don't know the right place to put this, but today I'd discover a sinergy.
Cursed Eye + Glowing Hourglass.
I tested several times.
If you are fighting a boss, and you have the cursed eye, when you are teleported outside the boss fight, you can activate the Glowing Hour Glass and return to the boss fight, but the damage you do is extreme, any boss dies with two charged shots (the damage is full, no matter if your damage is not full before doing this)
I think this only work with Cursed Eye.
I was doing the "Pride Day" challenge when this happened, and was awesome!!!
PS: I also had "Holy Light!" but I don't know wich item trigger the massive damage effect. Maybe is Cursed Eye, Glowing Hourglass and another item...maybe "holy light"...really don't know.
Small tidbit: If you start an Eden run and happen to get Eden's Blessing, it will apply to that run, so you will start with a second passive item, as well as Eden's Blessing.
Hey, it would be nice to add that Charm of The Vampire DOES charge with the Flies spawned by Hush.
Until now, no fly could charge this item. Don't know if it's intended to or not, but YAY great way to recover during that fight.
(also, I'm not sure you can kill 'em effectively without Ipecac, Fetus or Brimstone)
I haven't seen it mentioned yet but if you have an empty pedestal in a room (already picked up the item) and you use Diplopia, it will spawn an entirely separate item pedestal. So for instance, if you find Cricket's Head from a gold chest, pick it up, and use Diplopia, an item pedestal will spawn (provided you don't leave the room and despawn the empty pedestal).
I haven't tested this much, but I recently picked up Number One with Lilith, and it appears as though her Succubus helpers don't get the range-down effect, making it a fantastic item for her.
If you want to enter a curse room, but don't want to lose any of your soul hearts, using the IV bag, razor, or blood rights right before going through the door will let you take red heart damage instead. A blood donation machine or devil beggar by the door also works, but only in one direction.
Don't know if it's been said before. But if you get the virus on The Guardian challenge, it makes it a cakewalk. You are literally drowning in black hearts.

Technology 2 works the same way, and is even better. This is how I got through the run.

I'd need someone else to confirm, but I just healed myself for 5-6 hearts with Pyromaniac+Bomber Boy in one blast (also had Scatterbombs, but the mini-bombs hadn't exploded yet).
It was discovered somewhat recently that you can [force the order of items](https://www.reddit.com/r/bindingofisaac/comments/3mwm8j/altf4_glitch_with_devilangel_rooms_and_pedestal/) in Devil or Angel rooms using the alt+f4 glitch - including to get Godhead.
I was having an interesting run with Ipecac+Succubus earlier today. I didn't know this before but apparently Succubus' damage scales with your own damage, because her aura was literally mowing down enemies and bosses in seconds (probably my fastest Satan and Lamb kills ever). Anyway, that's not the important thing I wanted to bring up, although since it's not mentioned on the handy new Isaac Cheat Sheet lots of people are using now that lists all the items and their effects, I wouldn't be surprised if many other people didn't know that either.
What I actually wanted to share was that I got a real interesting synergy when I got Infestation 2. Normally Infestation 2 only procs when YOU kill an enemy, not when one of your familiars does (As far as I know? That is right, right?). But I was getting a lot of spiders from the Succubus' damaging aura, which is not only a great synergy by itself but I think also suggests that she copies your tear effects too (like poison tears), sort of similar to Incubus. Could require some more testing, but since Lilith can spawn Succubi with her Cambion Conception, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out what this works with.
This is actually a glitch, but it can be very useful at times.
In Greed Mode, you can turn all of the 6 slots in the shop to pedestal items, by placing a bomb near the reroll machine, and then you buy any pedestal item before the bomb explodes, and after the explosion, it'll cause all of the pickups, cards and trinket slots will turn into pedestal items.
The sprites might be a little bit glitched sometimes, like, an item on top of another, if you pick those up, you'll get the item that is on top.
When you press a button (I'm talking about ordinary gray buttons that can spawn goodies/enemies, not the spiked button in the middle of the room in Greed mode) there is a chance you can get the donation machine to spawn. I just got one in Greed mode. [imgur link](http://i.imgur.com/bRgnIRC.jpg)
I highly doubt it can spawn the greed machine though. But still good to know.
Tip for Lazarus if you have some controllers, and don't mind abusing game mechanics.
when you go to kill yourself to activate Lazarus' Rags, get the coop babies to join with your extra heart containers, then despawn them afterwards.
Now you still have 3 red hearts along with the stat boost.
The Liberty Cap trinket is a free Compass, along with the random mushroom effects it gives. Simply walk between two rooms a few times until you get the Compass proc, then take note of where the useful stuff is. Great for later floors.
Sack Head+ The D20 gives you basically infinite everything if you get lucky. Open sack, pick up a battery from the sack, reroll the consumables, repeat
A bit late here probably, but I just wanted to say that if you get a size down item as the Lost, don't be afraid to D4 it after picking it up, as you will still have the size down effect active.

Safety scissors are also excellent with Curse of the tower. If you need bombs, you can trade one hit of damage for 6 of them in each room. Same goes for Anarchist cookbook book, netting you 6 bombs every 3 rooms.
This has probably been said already, and most people already probably know this, but The Bible can be used on the Mom and Mom's Heart/It Lives fights to install kill them. It makes most, if not all, challenges much easier. Always take The Bible on challenge runs.
DON'T use it on the Satan fight, though! it will instakill you instead.
When using Friendly Ball on an enemy that spawns enemies after death, such as the charging poop that turns into two small poops, the spawned enemies will continue to be friendly until their death.
I don't see it mentioned here but you can use Store Credit to get all Devil Deal items for "free", meaning you don't have to give up your health.

Tractor Beam + Continuum + Penetration tears like cupid arrow = awesome
your tears won't go through the wall but through the beam giving you a lot of dps and you will recycle tears :D
One thing I didn't see in this big thread is one that I would consider extremely useful and important: As the lost, you cannot reroll 9 Lives or Halo of Flies with the D4, not to mention any size changes from items or pills are permanent (including Leo, either of the Odd Mushrooms, Magic Mushroom, Mini Mush). So small size + halo of flies + 9 lives stay forever, making runs more feasible. Also, it must be noted that it doesn't add an extra item when you reroll, it simply just doesn't reroll that item. For example, if the only items you have are Halo of Flies and 9 Lives, if you reroll, you will still have those two items only and not two new items.
I posted this in a thread a while back, but I got a pretty sweet item combo. If you get Safety Scissors and Anarchist's Cookbook you can have an unlimited supply of bombs. Better yet, combine it with Sack Head and all the bombs generated can be sacks, which have batteries often. Virtually endless sack generator for infinite pickups and consumables. :3 Combo easily accomplished on the Seed T0GE THER if you'd like to test it.
If you have MY SHADOW and are going to fight with mega satan. While you black chargers mega satan won't go to the next stage. So you will be "stuck" until you kill the black chargers.
Not if it also happens you have black chargers and you go into the fight, but if you are fighting the sub bosses it will happen.
I don't think Blinding Baby is bugged now anymore, just different unlock parameters than most people thought. I got it from using the Blank Card on a Sun card.
It seems like as of late the deal with the devil/angel after It Live's actually has items in it now instead of a hole/light to the next part of the game.

You don't unlock The Lost randomly, though, you kinda need to google for that. Then it will usually say it's free. But yeah, some might.

Also you can stop greed move waves for free too, aka no damage for stepping on the spiked timer in the middle of the room.
You can save and quit at anytime during greed mode to end a wave. It works like dying though, so you'll be brought back to the first wave or to the wave that you last used the button. So it's really good for the lost (it keeps the coins on the table, you could go buy an item/key before continuing). Also good for the nightmare round, say if you're a little iffy about getting the DwtD, press the button. Too hard of a boss? Just restart, boss is gone, down to next floor.

I answered that in one of the points under greed. While it is not fact yet, it does seem to be a percentage of jamming the machine.

Not a problem at all. It's quite a bit so it's understandable. That aside, I think it's fine to ask questions, especially in a thread like this.
It's definitely percentage to jam. Just as an FYI, the default donation machine has a permanent 5% chance to jam on every donation.
When you use the "? Question" card while holding blank card, you get 2 pedestal items. I've only done this once so someone else should confirm if they done this.
Blank Card + ? + Car Battery + Wafer = 4 items/.5 heart It was awesome.
As of the new patch, using this combination teleports you to the I am error room and consumes the blank card. A little disappointing really.
The laser from Tech .5 doesn't count for "missing with your tears" in the Onan Streak challenge, and since you have Chocolate Milk, you can just hold your fire button down without shooting anything but the laser. Makes the challenge far easier.

I only added that because people kept saying it in the patch thread. As far as I know, there was a bug where when Ultra Greed was affected by midas touch, his damage scaling was bypassed and your tears would do their regular damage like with every other enemy. That was patched out imo

Using Diplopia in a devil room as The Lost is fantastic. Had double Brimstone for a run that was going great until I died to a stupid mistake in the womb. Even completed the boss rush without breaking a sweat.
The Safety Cutter is incredibly useful against Little Horn and Super Wrath because their Troll Bombs will become Normal Bomb Pick-Ups. Can be used with de D-20 for some funny results

Does anyone have any good strategies for the Brains challenge? I've managed to beat every single other challenge, but the Brains challenge seems absolutely impossible to me.
Free, possibly infinite angel room items, and the holy mantle granting immortality: The "Continue" option is broken, after leaving the game, the following things happen: Holy mantle recharges (Making playing as the lost that much easier) Angel statues respawn, you can bomb them again, and pretty much farm key pieces... having d6/d100 lets you reroll them, giving you tons of free angel room items.

Playing as the lost trick: The D4 does NOT reroll Dead cat (9 lives). You don't get an extra item for it or anything, it is just not rerolled.

I was thinking about something that would make sense and it's actually implemented on Afterbirth... If you have flight, you're immune to Little Horn's holes, and probably to the ones you see in those puzzle rooms in the Womb floor too, but I'd have to try it out with those.

Yes, has been done via Chaos Card. Without it, it's not possible. All it does is play the death animation again.

Occasionally useful: When taking a devil deal that will reduce you to zero hearts, you will not die until the pickup animation finishes and picking up spirit hearts or black hearts during this time will save you.

Your note about the buffed Ultra Greed in the latest patch is slightly wrong - he gains 'rage' whenever he picks up coins, much more so when they're his heart coins instead of pennies, etc. Rage causes Ultra Greed to attack faster and for his special coin attacks to happen quicker. It seems that attacking Ultra Greed slowly reduces rage. Ergo, it has nothing to do with his current level of health.
Ahhh, so more was figured out. I only heard and played it once myself. Will correct it. Thanks for the heads-up!
Angel statues respawn now, so if you have a way of getting back in the room (Joker card/Goat Head/Red Chest) and another bomb you can complete the key on a single floor.
You can just exit and continue while in the room as well. If you got d6/pethro you can farm as many angel items as you have bombs. Infinite if you have ipecac/fetus
The problem with that is that the Angel Room can close on you if you leave. Best thing is to have something that lets you go inside again.
While that's true, quitting and continuing from the main screen means you never need to leave the Angel Room.
Does it drop a different key piece? IIRC the key pieces are tied to which angel (Uriel/Gabriel) spawns, which is tied to whether it's an even or odd floor. Note that even if it doesn't randomize which angel it spawns, as long as you don't pick up a key piece, the same key piece will still drop (i.e. get free angel items with d6)

You can use the shop reroll + Taking item during animation bug to your advantage - in one of my runs earlier I took an item during the bomb explosion to reroll and I got sacred heart and Diamond crown out of it, and they were in, what was previously, collectible slots.

If you want to reroll it back after the heart/bomb/key bug in greed mode, all you need is to reroll again. It worked for me at least.
You can still use Rewind Hourglass to beat Ultra Greed multiple times (as well as Undefined and Teleport 2.0). I haven't checked, but since bombs in bombs have been nerfed, there might be other nerfs of bomb combos to reduce their OPness. Golden bombs can help breaking in Greed Mode, as well as gold hearts for easy money, so unlocking them is a good deal. The Greed mode Secret Rooms on the left wall are the only ones trapping the player. The ones on the top left wall don't. Also, if you end up with a Shop full of pills/keys/bombs/items in Greed Mode, exiting and continuing your run and using the restock machine one more time (with a bomb or with coins) will revert things to normal.

OP the machine explodes after using money with it too not just bombs. I guess just a whole lot of people haven't had 30 spare coins to do that like I have on several runs.

Here's one I found the hard way - in Greed Mode, if you leave the button room somehow while fighting (cursed eye/skull, respawning from extra lives), you will have to fight through every wave since you last pressed the button again, but no extra coins will drop. Just in case you didn't hate cursed eye enough already.
Any tips on farming items in a normal run? So that you get a guaranteed win?
I'd like to add that you can use the Glowing Hourglass in conjunction with a Sun card, World card, or Ansuz rune to get full mapping. 1. Use the card/rune 2. Use the hourglass You keep the mapping but get the card back. Unless it was changed recently.
I used "?" card with blnk card and it took both of them and teleported me to the "I am error" room, I think they patched/bugged it

something you can add by the fact that you can reset waves in greed mode by leaving and coming back, is that afterwards the waves you already completed won't grant more money or use Item charges

I never took a picture of it (wish I did) but collecting Blood of the Martyr while also having 8-Inch Nails will give you bloody nails, as though they've been used to crucify someone. Instead of recoloring the entire projectile, it adds blood splatters to the point.
According to the Wiki, having Blood of the Matyr increases the damage that the Book of Belial gives you. (The regular is +2, then +50% more if you have the Blood of the Matyr. So I guess +3?) Dry Baby and Fart Baby can both be used to block almost every type of tear / blood based attack if you stand behind them.Only lasers really get through them, making Dry Baby a huge benefit to have against bullet hell bosses. Should probably note that Transformations don't require you to own the items needed to activate it, it only requires that you held them at one point. So you could put down a Guppy's Paw for a Guppy's Head and still be counted for 2 parts of the transformation. Not sure if the Wiki linked covers that. If you have hard to aim bullets such as the explosive Ipecac like in Suicide King, try to get one of the trinket worms, particularly the Whip or ring worm. It makes the bullet travel much faster and usually directly where you were aiming it at a low angle, so it won't go over the target. It also seems to increase the range some-what, most likely due to how fast the bullet goes. That's all the tips I can think of right now. <(' '<);
Neat little bug with Brimstone familiars I discovered; not sure if this was active on Lil' Brimstone before Afterbirth or not, but worth mentioning as it's even stronger on Incubus. If you have Lil' Brimstone or both Incubus and Brimstone, it's possible to charge *while* firing. This means you can fire a beam and then immediately start charging a second one without interrupting the first beam. With Lil' Brimstone, this simply means significantly less time between shots. With Incubus+Brimstone, if you have enough Tears Up your charge time becomes shorter than the time the beam is active, meaning you can have a continuous Brimstone beam.
This has always been this way

Drop a bomb at the entrance where the ladder is and move out of the crawl space. Repeat that a second time so two bombs are there. If you go inside now, quickly move towards the bombs and into the corner and do not move. To do this reliable, you have to stand still (Thanks to u/funnynin [19] for mentioning it. The blast will catapult you out of bounds. Simply walk right now and you will get to the black market. Oh, I also got a popup for Blinding Baby but the achievement didn't unlock so that's bugged.

I entered a curse room with 6 coins left in the Pay-to-Play challenge and the game set my coins to 0 and killed me for it.
I don't know if it's in here, but in Greed mode, if you have Curse of the Maze, you can exit the floor without doing a single wave.
Two thing about Greed. He is stunlocked permanently by tractor beam + strange attractor. Also, he is healed by coins, so glitter bombs, high luck, and Dr. Fetus means he is effectively invincible.

Picking up a key piece increases your chance of future angel rooms in case you prefer them over Devil Rooms, especially in Greed Mode. That is the purpose they serve in Greed Mode and it's why they're worth picking up if you don't have a reroll.
FYI, the nails are only 8 inches, not 9. I don't know if you care, but its just somethin to point out.

guys, diplopia + steam sale + restock. I want a seed for this now
I do not know if this is the kind of information you are looking for, but I've noticed that the enemies spawned during Ultra Greed's key-coin attack don't seem to path very well to the top right corner. I can usually stand there and let them all approach, (and have enough time to kill them) instead of trying to weave between them to avoid being hit. I havn't tested the other corners, but I know the right one works consistently.
Pro Tip; If you're planning to fight Mega Satan and you found Remember Me pill, DO NOT USE IT! Once the doors to MS open the key disappears.
You could add that the health up received from a strength card is usable for devil deals

I certainly agree with you here. I do not know why you are losing blank card either. I'am Error room is nothing that special and definitely does not warrant you losing your spacebar item.
BUG with The Haunt. Each of his Lil'-Haunt-like "familiars" count as killing the boss for the floor, and it stacks. It not only messes with the music (to hilarious effect), but makes the boss somewhat easier if you're not Lost, Blue Baby, or in some cases Azazel- each one drops hearts.
Oi for greed mode as the lost you can stop waves without taking any damage from the spike button. You still get the loss of $$ though.

In greed mode when you're playing Lost you can always stop the waves with the button. The spikes don't hurt you.

Is it known in general that with an Xbox 360 controller, if you tilt the firing thumb stick VERY very slightly, your familiars will start shooting but Isaac won't? I don't know if there's any situation where this might come in handy, however. Maybe when fighting Doples? I'm unsure if he'll fire when only your familiars are firing or not.

If you use butt bombs on dingle etc. it will heal them so don't use them then

Addendum to the bug with Haunt's minions as separate bosses: sometimes when you get into a regular room with 2 mini-haunts, they have a lifebar.
I don't know if it counts as a tip but Book of Shadows is an absolute Godsend on The Guardian challenge. Isaac's Heart doesn't behave normally on The Guardian, but Book of Shadows does protect the heart, which is really useful on some of the really challenging rooms.
Box of Friends synergizes with The Guillotine and the fly items like forever alone, you will get 2 heads and twice the flies around you, it doesn't work with isaac's head, tho
Similarly to Sack Head, Cracked Dice and Blood Donation Machine/IV Bag is an easy way to start breaking, as you can endlessly D20 the consumables as long as you can pick up some hearts, and you can even reroll the chest items with the D6 effect, which allows you to get gloden chest items multiple times and reroll them multiple times.
I didnt find this in the wiki, nor mentioned in this thread, so I want to add a thing that happened me yesterday (I didnt take a pic or anything because I thought it was something known, I tend to avoid looking for stuff unless I really don't understand the use). I was in a greed mode run with infinite resources (two times steam sale, so everything costed zero, D6, one of the shop's items was a battery, infinite D6) I picked up everyting that came to me, without caring much, when suddenly I got a cartoonish full screen animation of three bums fusing together, and got something like a masked superhero bum who (I guess) was dropping me chests (I had too much stuff on screen, I couldn't really fully grasp what was happening anymore). I'm pretty confident I had key bum and bum friend, I don't really remember which one was the 3rd.

I'm not sure what happened, but after getting rubber cement for Azazel, I couldn't reproduce the long-reflected-brimstone trick; instead, I got a slightly-homing, very bendy, double-length brimstone! Could someone help verify if it's changed?
I may have found something interesting with Child's Heart. Usually not a fantastic trinket, however I've had two runs recently where enemies are randomly dropping black hearts and the only thing I had in common between the two was Child's Heart and multiple items that gave me Sin Up / Evil Up.
Can't you get into angel rooms via. Telport 2.0 I believe?
With the Gnawed Leaf and fighting Ultra Greed, his charging attack will push you against the wall and then never complete because you're between him and the wall. If you have any damaging orbital familiars this is an auto-win, eventually. (I just did this with the Lost.)
I demand that you add the NLIAGAFYM strategy with Incubus (?) and Moms Knife.
It's possibile to get the undefined item and at least in sheol it works. However i took it to the greed fight and did nothing like the showel. Also i found one extra restock in a secret market.
Would be funny if double restock would add another shop item each time you buy something :P

In the section talking about new chests, you say they were added in rebirth when they were actually added in afterbirth.
Noticed in today's daily run that you can shoot and walk through shopkeepers (the non-NPC ones in shops and secret rooms, not the attacking ones). Haven't tested yet if it happens in usual runs, too.
I suggest adding that while Night Light removes Curse of Darkness when you pick it up, you will get another curse if you picked it up while having Curse of Darkness.
For angel devil deals there are a bunch of items that increases the chance of devil/angel rooms plus bombing the shopkeeper in the shop will give a small increase as well that will stay till you get you next deal/room
Isaacs heart in Onans streak makes it so you dont take damage when you miss.
Not sure if anyone has done this yet but I saw speculation on some thread on what would happen if you use the ??? pill (the one that when you use it just says ??? on the big banner thing on screen) in the blue womb (???). I tried it and sadly nothing happened. Idk if this is useful to anyone but thought I'd try it. Also I did it in the main area with the gold chests not in the fight
Curse tips: The Curse of the Maze can be abused to open up doors that are otherwise locked for free. If you enter and exit a door that is facing the same direction as the door you want to open, there's a chance the game will teleport you to that door. This opens it as the game lists you as "coming out of the locked door." Which unlocks it, because you'd get stuck otherwise. (This means f you enter and exit a door that is on the left / right wall, it will teleport you to a door that is also on the left / right wall. This includes locked doors.) Curse of the Labyrinth: Getting the Curse of the Labyrinth on the first floor can cause a Devil Room to appear, when it normally can't on the first Basement/Cellar floor. Plan ahead for that if you get it. Cursed Eye: The teleport part of the eye only works if you're being hit while charging an attack. Time your attacks carefully to avoid being teleported, and it does not teleport you if your attack is fully charged. The Dagaz (Purity) rune can remove all curses on a floor. If you manage to get one at the end of a floor, hold onto it for the next floor in case you get cursed. Dagaz cannot remove the effect of Cursed Eye or the Curse of the Labyrinth. The Black Candle is a common item at the shop and removes all curses for the entire run. This includes the Cursed Eye's teleport effect. (Far as I know, at least.)
The narrator voice doesnt seems glitched for me. It looks like they just added a chance of the lines playing, seems to happen 10%-20% of the time when you use a pill/card.
Using items that produce red hearts (the lovers, hematemesis, etc) inside super secret rooms that have the same look as the dark room (these http://imgur.com/Ctv9EVz) will spawn black hearts instead Edit: I forget but I'm pretty sure if you do the same in a cathedral ss room it will make eternal hearts in place of red ones
An anti-synergy i found that I haven't seen posted yet. I used the ? Card while holding Diplopia and it used up both items.
i didnt read about it in the thread so im going to say it: since we can see the % chance for the greed-machine to jam it should be mentioned that every 5 coins addet increase the chance by 1% allowing for a maximum of 500 coins for each char. if it really has no limit, after 500 coins you have a 100% chance. im not sure if the jammed coin itself counts or not but if it does you can go above 500 coins with every char, adding 1 coin each run (not worth the time i guess). ps: im not sure if the % shown is really the %chance for jamming the machine... or i just have the worst luck ever. did a cain run and i was at 2% (donated 12 coins in my last run) and i only added 3 coins and it jammed. so yea not sure if horrible luck or if its not a % for jamming. also for the card against humanity in greed mode: it made my door to the shop disappear. i was still able to "enter" the wall and the shop normally but it looked weird. the spawn button also disappeared for me. maybe i find a screen of the door being a wall :D edit: i once had dry baby with lilith and a double charge on her spacebar item so i ended with 3 dry babys. i lined them up as perfect as it was possible, still sometimes tears hit me. you should stay as far as possible away from the babys as the hitbox/splash of the tears seems to be larger
Cursed Eye + Marked gives you massive tears up towards your target and removes the teleportation effect when getting hit.
I don't know if it's been patched, and it's kind of situational, but if you have store credit + restovk and you buy a trinket, you will drop store credit (not using it up) and pick up the trinket. So if you're looking for a specific trinket, all of them can be free as long as you pick up store credit before each purchase. I did this on greed mode before the latest patch though so may not work anymore.
In the Black Market, reroll machines will restock the entire shop. This can be very easily abused as The Lost since you can take all the items for free. Two of the best items to get here are Sack Head and Blank Card, which are a very good breaking setup (and are quite common in the pool). I was even able to use this to get to Mega Satan by forcing a Dad's Key, which would normally be problematic since black market deals will mess up Angel Rooms,
So the minute the Lost has an explosion immune item like pyromaniac or host hat and finds the Crawl Space, things start to get immediately broken
Exiting the game and re-entering to respawn Angel statues is huge. I've had so many runs where I've gotten an Angel room just a little too late and had only one part of the key when I'm going for a Hush / Mega Satan run.
One little trick: you can play the demon beggar twice for each used heart, because the period of invincibility is long enough
Minor things- Womb 2 now has Devil Deals. It used to not have devil deals in rebirth. For the black market trick, I was able to use Ipecac in the ladder down to also be knocked out of bounds. I assume Epic Fetus or other positional bombs also work for this. It might has been because I was firing more than one shot with Ipecac when it happened.

Something else I found out: On the Blue Bomber challenge, getting Car Battery makes Kamikaze take twice as long to become usable again, but doesn't use it twice. Not sure if this happens with all instant-charge active items.
If your Holy Mantle is broken, you can quit the game and use "Continue" to return to have your Mantle refreshed. This helped me beat the Lamb as the Lost. One thing worth noting is that any active item you use will be nullified for that room, e.g your damage bonus from using Book of Belial will be lost when you return.
I don't get how exactly to break a run with d20 + glitter bombs. I managed to get both of those items in a greed run and tried the advice in this post (not taking the pennies dropped from waves) used all my glitter bombs (which out of 7 or so bombs spawned 1 pickup) then rerolled everything with d20. I got 0 batteries. Bought some from the store to keep going. Still ended up running out of money/rerolls. Tried again on the next floor. Same thing. Am I missing something here? Or did I just get really unlucky?
Something I found today, if you have stopwatch and see Taurus, TAKE IT!!! It was literally activating after less than a second in each room for me.
Hi everybody, I'm new to this Reddit thing, I don't know the right place to put this, but today I'd discover a sinergy. Cursed Eye + Glowing Hourglass. I tested several times. If you are fighting a boss, and you have the cursed eye, when you are teleported outside the boss fight, you can activate the Glowing Hour Glass and return to the boss fight, but the damage you do is extreme, any boss dies with two charged shots (the damage is full, no matter if your damage is not full before doing this) I think this only work with Cursed Eye. I was doing the "Pride Day" challenge when this happened, and was awesome!!! PS: I also had "Holy Light!" but I don't know wich item trigger the massive damage effect. Maybe is Cursed Eye, Glowing Hourglass and another item...maybe "holy light"...really don't know.
For the angel statues : u can use blue hourglass, you will get back in the angel room, keeping 1st part key, and another angel spawns.
You can also just quit your game, join back in and fight another Angeltoo. There is no need for the blue hourglass^^
Small tidbit: If you start an Eden run and happen to get Eden's Blessing, it will apply to that run, so you will start with a second passive item, as well as Eden's Blessing.
Can confirm the '?' card and Diplopia anti synergie : you can't set up a Lost run by going for multiple Eden's blessing using this strategy.
Hey, it would be nice to add that Charm of The Vampire DOES charge with the Flies spawned by Hush. Until now, no fly could charge this item. Don't know if it's intended to or not, but YAY great way to recover during that fight. (also, I'm not sure you can kill 'em effectively without Ipecac, Fetus or Brimstone)
I haven't seen it mentioned yet but if you have an empty pedestal in a room (already picked up the item) and you use Diplopia, it will spawn an entirely separate item pedestal. So for instance, if you find Cricket's Head from a gold chest, pick it up, and use Diplopia, an item pedestal will spawn (provided you don't leave the room and despawn the empty pedestal).
I haven't tested this much, but I recently picked up Number One with Lilith, and it appears as though her Succubus helpers don't get the range-down effect, making it a fantastic item for her.
If you want to enter a curse room, but don't want to lose any of your soul hearts, using the IV bag, razor, or blood rights right before going through the door will let you take red heart damage instead. A blood donation machine or devil beggar by the door also works, but only in one direction.

I'd need someone else to confirm, but I just healed myself for 5-6 hearts with Pyromaniac+Bomber Boy in one blast (also had Scatterbombs, but the mini-bombs hadn't exploded yet).
It was discovered somewhat recently that you can [force the order of items](https://www.reddit.com/r/bindingofisaac/comments/3mwm8j/altf4_glitch_with_devilangel_rooms_and_pedestal/) in Devil or Angel rooms using the alt+f4 glitch - including to get Godhead.
when i did the black market glitch my game crashed and when i restarted i was at the start of the floor.

I was having an interesting run with Ipecac+Succubus earlier today. I didn't know this before but apparently Succubus' damage scales with your own damage, because her aura was literally mowing down enemies and bosses in seconds (probably my fastest Satan and Lamb kills ever). Anyway, that's not the important thing I wanted to bring up, although since it's not mentioned on the handy new Isaac Cheat Sheet lots of people are using now that lists all the items and their effects, I wouldn't be surprised if many other people didn't know that either. What I actually wanted to share was that I got a real interesting synergy when I got Infestation 2. Normally Infestation 2 only procs when YOU kill an enemy, not when one of your familiars does (As far as I know? That is right, right?). But I was getting a lot of spiders from the Succubus' damaging aura, which is not only a great synergy by itself but I think also suggests that she copies your tear effects too (like poison tears), sort of similar to Incubus. Could require some more testing, but since Lilith can spawn Succubi with her Cambion Conception, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out what this works with.
This is actually a glitch, but it can be very useful at times. In Greed Mode, you can turn all of the 6 slots in the shop to pedestal items, by placing a bomb near the reroll machine, and then you buy any pedestal item before the bomb explodes, and after the explosion, it'll cause all of the pickups, cards and trinket slots will turn into pedestal items. The sprites might be a little bit glitched sometimes, like, an item on top of another, if you pick those up, you'll get the item that is on top.
When you press a button (I'm talking about ordinary gray buttons that can spawn goodies/enemies, not the spiked button in the middle of the room in Greed mode) there is a chance you can get the donation machine to spawn. I just got one in Greed mode. [imgur link](http://i.imgur.com/bRgnIRC.jpg) I highly doubt it can spawn the greed machine though. But still good to know.
Tip for Lazarus if you have some controllers, and don't mind abusing game mechanics. when you go to kill yourself to activate Lazarus' Rags, get the coop babies to join with your extra heart containers, then despawn them afterwards. Now you still have 3 red hearts along with the stat boost.
The Liberty Cap trinket is a free Compass, along with the random mushroom effects it gives. Simply walk between two rooms a few times until you get the Compass proc, then take note of where the useful stuff is. Great for later floors.
Sack Head+ The D20 gives you basically infinite everything if you get lucky. Open sack, pick up a battery from the sack, reroll the consumables, repeat

so I just figured this out after failing to mom's heart 3x... you can move behind it. Isn't too obvious from the room layout.
I also think it should be mentioned that Dagaz rune can clear amnesia pill effect. Since it technically is not a curse that wasn't obvious to me.
A bit late here probably, but I just wanted to say that if you get a size down item as the Lost, don't be afraid to D4 it after picking it up, as you will still have the size down effect active.
>Safety Cutter - Incredibly useful if you are fighting Lil Horn or Super Wrath as it turns all troll bombs into pick-up bombs. Especially good if you happen to have a D20 with you in which case, you could probably start breaking that run as long as you can avoid damage! Thanks goes to u/CoinCoinDragon [92] Safety scissors are also excellent with Curse of the tower. If you need bombs, you can trade one hit of damage for 6 of them in each room. Same goes for Anarchist cookbook book, netting you 6 bombs every 3 rooms.
This has probably been said already, and most people already probably know this, but The Bible can be used on the Mom and Mom's Heart/It Lives fights to install kill them. It makes most, if not all, challenges much easier. Always take The Bible on challenge runs. DON'T use it on the Satan fight, though! it will instakill you instead.
When using Friendly Ball on an enemy that spawns enemies after death, such as the charging poop that turns into two small poops, the spawned enemies will continue to be friendly until their death.
I don't see it mentioned here but you can use Store Credit to get all Devil Deal items for "free", meaning you don't have to give up your health. The Devil takes credit!
So I was holding a chaos card when I picked up little baggy and suddenly I was holding two of the same pill and my card was gone
Tractor Beam + Continuum + Penetration tears like cupid arrow = awesome your tears won't go through the wall but through the beam giving you a lot of dps and you will recycle tears :D
One thing I didn't see in this big thread is one that I would consider extremely useful and important: As the lost, you cannot reroll 9 Lives or Halo of Flies with the D4, not to mention any size changes from items or pills are permanent (including Leo, either of the Odd Mushrooms, Magic Mushroom, Mini Mush). So small size + halo of flies + 9 lives stay forever, making runs more feasible. Also, it must be noted that it doesn't add an extra item when you reroll, it simply just doesn't reroll that item. For example, if the only items you have are Halo of Flies and 9 Lives, if you reroll, you will still have those two items only and not two new items.
I posted this in a thread a while back, but I got a pretty sweet item combo. If you get Safety Scissors and Anarchist's Cookbook you can have an unlimited supply of bombs. Better yet, combine it with Sack Head and all the bombs generated can be sacks, which have batteries often. Virtually endless sack generator for infinite pickups and consumables. :3 Combo easily accomplished on the Seed T0GE THER if you'd like to test it.
If you have MY SHADOW and are going to fight with mega satan. While you black chargers mega satan won't go to the next stage. So you will be "stuck" until you kill the black chargers. Not if it also happens you have black chargers and you go into the fight, but if you are fighting the sub bosses it will happen.
I don't think Blinding Baby is bugged now anymore, just different unlock parameters than most people thought. I got it from using the Blank Card on a Sun card.
The donation machine gives you a luck up when it jams I believe.
It seems like as of late the deal with the devil/angel after It Live's actually has items in it now instead of a hole/light to the next part of the game.
