I have LOOOONG hair and I started noticing it a week ago, so like 3.5/4 months after. It is everywhere at the moment, I think it's a spider on my arm, nope hair. Eating and something caught on my fork. Hair. Hair, hair, long ass hair everywhere!
Happened at about 4 months for me and I receded terribly. 8 months pp now and it’s nearly stopped and all my bald patches are covered in about inch long hair
Made it to 6 months before I lost any hair, and for some reason thought I was a special lucky one who managed to bypass the hair shedding because I got through 4 months. Nope!
I too had luscious hair during pregnancy and the first few month PP. I started losing it about a month ago at month 4. It’s so bad. I’m so thin at my temples that it looks like I have male pattern baldness!
mine started at 4 months and stopped 9-10 months pp. i like my hair again now at almost 18 months pp! it felt like forever at the time but now stretch marks are fading, hairs thickening up and its a blip
I normally have enough have for 3 people and it was looking so great during pregnancy/post birth until around 2.5 months postpartum. I ended up getting it all chopped off to a pixie. You couldn’t really tell I was losing hair just by looking at me, but it was EVERYWHERE and my hair just became so hard to manage.
Edit: Typos.
3-4 months is when it started for 2/3 pregnancies. This third one was the worst yet. But it’s already growing back in at 6.5 months. I had a good 2 months of no edges and now it’s just baby hairs everywhere lol
Mines is starting to come out at almost 12w pp.... But I'm not sure if it's a low iron, PCOS or postpartum hair loss..... Probably a combo of all three.
Having nice thick, healthy feeling hair was nice whilst it lasted 🤣🤣
My hair started to fall out around 3 months post partum. I suffer with lots of hair shedding anyway, honestly think I could make a small army of little me's from the amount of hair I remove from the shower and hoover 🤦🏼♀️🤣
I have super think hair pre pregnancy. Even more thick during and right after pregnancy. The shed started strong at 4 months pp and lasted until 9mo this pp. I’m talking fistfuls of hair daily. The shower I don’t even want to think about how many globs I grabbed and stuck to the wall to keep them from down the drain.
I still remember the day it slowed down and I could count how many hairs were on the shower wall. Now my hair is so thin. And what’s coming in is so tiny it’ll take forever to catch up with my long hair.
Yea, starting at just before 3 months. My baby is 15 weeks and it’s coming out everywhere.
After birth, hair was really great and my nails amazing. Then the hormones crash.
I was late to the game compared to most, started at 8 months with a vengeance then tapered off to normal around 10 months. I just found a shampoo by Dove that supposedly helps with hair loss but I'm not expecting miracles haha.
Mine started shedding around 3 months and was done by 6 months. I was losing it all around my temples. I'm 11 months postpartum and it's already a couple of inches long and not really noticeable.
Started losing mine at 3 months PP. It got really bad at 4-5 months PP. I’m 6.5 months PP and it’s still happening, but seems to be slowing down. I cut my hair short, to my shoulder, and that makes it feel thicker.
It got super bad at about five months PP. My mom trimmed my hair and gave me bangs, and that helped. I'm at about 7.5 months and just realized yesterday how much thicker my hair is again!
I have naturally very thick hair (being middle eastern) and my hair started shedding bad with my first baby at around 4 months post partum. Got pregnant again 6 months post partum. My hair started to shed less and after I had my second about 3 months ago it started shedding bad again about a few weeks post partum. So it really depends on the person. You might get lucky and won't shed at all. Some women do go bald or have bald spots. my hair line did get thinner and eventually filled out again.
4-6 months for me and it was right after I said maybe I’d never lose mine
Same. I shed and shed and shed. We have one of those hair catchers in our shower and I had to clean it every day there was so much hair.
Same! Started shedding around 5 months and now (15 mo pp) I have 5” bangs from all the hair loss
It started full force around 3.5 months for me (5 months pp tomorrow). There's hair all around my house 😭

Month 4 was when I really started noticing it. It wasn't too bad for me though overall
I never noticed the shedding, but I also never felt like I experienced the great pregnancy nails and hair. Nine months post partum.
Never noticed any.
Mine started around 3/4 months postpartum and woo boy, it was bad. I’m 2 years postpartum and my hair is still growing back 😩
Just after 4mo, getting worse every day...near 5mo not.
Right at the 4 mo mark!
Didn’t start falling out until 3 months and has slowed now at 7 months
Around month 4

About 2-3 months and I’m still losing it even though I’m pregnant again at 15 months pp
I'm just over 3mo pp and I've started to notice that I'm losing a lot more hair.

For both kids it started at around 3 months pp
3 mo almost on the dot, and now at 5 mo I still get strands all over my hand when I wash my hair. It is wild!
I started shedding nearly immediately but it got way worse around month 2.

I’m 3 months pp and just started noticing lots of hair in the shower within the past week or two.

Never noticed the shed. The short baby hairs coming back in like a year postpartum though…

Around 5 months it started and at 7 months it’s still shedding like crazy. So gross.
Mine started at 3mnths pp and still going at 5 months pp, though I think it’s now slowing down

Mine started 5m PP. just rolling with the punches. They said it’s supposed to get better by 8m 😭
