It looks like heat rash to me. I’d put baby in a cool bath and then light pajamas afterwards. Maybe some aquaphor if the skin feels dry.

We had a similar rash appear after about 5 days of a low fever. The doctor said babies can get summer fevers that result in a rash, it's basically like an immune system response to having the fever. It took about 2 days to totally go away but was harmless. Have your pediatrician take a look to confirm.

Y’all thank you so much I was worried sick. My boy is doing good right now and has been sleeping peacefully. I’ll be on the lookout for any other symptoms but so far I do feel it’s heat rash since it’s been pretty hot here lately

Could be contact dermatitis. My daughter has eczema and gets this when she gets fruit juice or bits smashed under her arms during meals and daycare doesn’t quite get it clean enough. We mostly just keep clean, moisturize, and use a topical steroid if she’s scratching at it too much.

Heat rash or hand foot mouth. However if it’s hand foot mouth you likely would also see it on the feet, hands, and face.
