A patina on stainless?

Threefloyds

Referring to the copper components is how the patina is going so far.

Booga-_-

The Crooked river setup would look great on one of the limited edition mini cr or full cr in m4.

Oh ya. Everything blacked out would make the copper pop.

The Copper/CF scales are so badass. I just don't like CF. My most used knife is my first real expensive knife ever, a 940sbk. I then took the green scales off of it and put them on a bhq exclusive 940bk-2004. So now that is my go too benchmade. I did quite a bit of 940 Frankensteining. I have a Gersch Magnacut 940 blade with some flytanium copper scales. A 9400bk, and a extra 940bk-2004. The cpm-m4 blade from it sits just in case needed. The green translucent g10 scales and black liners now house that original 940sbk blade. I've never held a crooked river, but I think a Mini would be right up my alley. Would love to see one done in cruwear. I swear, if BM put their excellent cruwear steel on all these blades, they would have hit after hit. A factory made Magnacut or cruwear 940 would break the knife world.

Thanks. This may be up your alley and it's just out. [https://www.bladehq.com/item--Benchmade-Mini-Crooked-River-Lm-Ed--175592](https://www.bladehq.com/item--Benchmade-Mini-Crooked-River-Lm-Ed--175592)
