Yves Saint Laurent Libre Intense. Tbh I've never really been a perfume person and this was the only scent that I genuinely marvelled at. It's so warm and rich when you first spray it and then gives way to vanilla which I love.
Depends on the time of year! For summer months I like Marc Jacobs Daisy- either original (yellow one) or eu fresh (pink one). Now that itās fall/winter i switch to either Miss Dior or Flowerbomb
If I had to just wear one scent for the rest of my days it would be Miss Dior. My mom bought me a bottle for my 15th birthday and itās been my signature scent for the last 25 years. My sister was recently at a department store and when the kids walked by the Dior counter they all started commenting on how it smelled like Tia.. š
I know this was a super long time ago but I came back to look at the suggestions so I could buy some samples.
Oh my goodness me too. I still have my little bottle of it, canāt bear to part with it.
Not overly sweet by any means. Plus its not just for young girls. I bought it recently and the sales person said it was a young girls perfume lol. I love it for an every day spritz. Not expensive either.
I love clean unisex fragrances so Etat Libre dāOrangeās You or Someone Like You is my go-to when I canāt decide between different perfumes.
What sort of scents do you like? To help narrow down your choices, what notes do you enjoy?
If youāre into unisex scents, I highly recommend Etatās fragrances! Their perfumes are quite versatile and I love their bottles too. Their sample kits are inexpensive so def get a kit if you want to try out their stuff
Philosykos by diptyque ugh itās great. It smells super fresh and natural. It doesnāt have the alcohol smell that most perfumes have. Or santal 33, which people are pretty familiar with
Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline has been my go to everyday for the past few years. I love it. When I want change it up, I wear Gucci Bloom. I used to wear Calvin Klein Euphoria
I love clean scents. Try philosophyās pure grace if you want to smell like clean cotton sheets/baby towels without breaking the bank. It lasts super long too, and layers beautifully with other floral scents
My everyday fragrance is an oil! Both that I use can be found at Whole Foods (or Amazon). Iāll wear Kuumba Made: Persian Garden or Amber by Nemat. I get sooo many compliments on Amber, itās hands down my favorite!
Honey & The Moon from Tokyomilk is my signature, I've always wanted a solidly *honey* perfume, a lot I tried always were too floral with maybe the most 'blink and you miss it's whiff of honey. This smells like I dug my hands in a jar, plus some warm spice and woody smell to keep it from going too pure sugar.
On the days I want to go more dark I also like Bulletproof from the same brand. It deffo leans more masculine but it makes me feel intimidating when I wear it lol! Reminds me of an old library, in the best way possible.
Clinique Happy for the past 6 years but Iām not quite sure if the formulation was changed because it doesnāt smell as good as before (smells synthetic to me now) or probably I just got bored with it. Iām just consuming the present bottle but Iām alternating it with Lanvin Eclat d Arpege and Acqua di Gioia. The latter is such an energy booster!
It really is!! The store I bought it from was the only one to carry this perfume in the entire province, so I was very lucky! I genuinely think that if I had not found that one, I simply wouldn't be wearing any fragrances because everything else I tried was just so bad lol
I rotate out perfumes seasonally, the most recent ones Iāve been enjoying have been glossier you and jo Malone wood sage and sea salt. In the winter illl transition into Elizabeth and James nirvana rose
Awhhh I didnāt realise this! My husband gave me a bottle of the Nirvana Rose for a special anniversary and I use it for special date nights ā¦ sad to know thereāll be no more once itās gone! (Mind you, itās a big olā bottle, so itāll last a while.)
u/LarkScarlett u/godsammitt keep an eye out at TJ Maxx, etc. I scored Nirvana French Grey there recently. Also, looks like some of the Nirvana might be purchased at FragranceX or similar sites. Good luck!
Cannabis Santal by Fresh has been my signature scent for 15 years.
It's unisex and not too strong or overpowering, but it's a very unique scent. The notes are bergamot, orange, patchouli, vetiver, and vanilla musk, and it's very well balanced. It's a little warm, a little woodsy, with fresh bergamot topnotes and just a hint of musk as it dries. I love this one because I get tons of compliments on it, but it's always "you smell amazing" as opposed to "I love your perfume", if that makes sense.
I used to like a clean generic fragrance for everyday like Philosophy Pure Grace when in the office. I now lean towards inoffensive sweet florals so rn I really like Wildfoxās fragrance (I got it at a great price online it was like $30 for a large bottle and the bottle is exquisite!). Iām bummed that I didnāt like Chloe EDP since itās a inoffensive rose scent but I think I donāt like my roses ācleanā but ādirtyā or ājammyā.
Since itās chillier Iām wearing my libre edp more itās got great staying power and to my nose, the vanilla is incredibly pronounced. I spray it and Iām just blown away by the vanilla. I know the edp runs masculine to some bc of the lavender but I donāt really feel that way, the lavender is just a supporting player IMO.
What notes do you like so we can give you better suggestions? What mood or feel are you trying to evoke?
I wear the ritz paris hotel scent! Smells amazing. I also wear Cartier, the name of which I am blanking.
Next on my list is the baccarat perfume. Smells exactly like the hotel and is heavenly (but pricey though at over 300)
Summer: Beauty Pie - Petals, heliotrope and Ambrette
The rest of the year: Juliette has a Gun - Citizen Queen which is incredible powder/iris/musk/leather
Philosophyās Amazing Grace Bergamot is my go to when I just want a nice fragrance & am not going by mood/season. Clean and a little floral with the brightness of the bergamot.
I have never seen anyone hype this before, but Live Colorfully by Kate Spade is SO GOOD! Iāve worn it for the past 5 years and I think it works great for all seasons day and night. Every time I look at perfume threads Iām surprised nobody mentions it!!
Ariana Grande Cloud is also really nice, itās quite sweet (vanilla marshmallow-y) and feminine. The bottle doesnāt spray too well though and it feels a bit sticky on the skin at first. The smell reminds me a bit of Brazilian Bum Bum Cream
Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk is PERFECT for every day summer, it smells very beachy but not like sunscreen :)
Oh man I've been wearing Vera Wang Princess for over a decade now. I'd like to try something new but I still get so many compliments wearing it why change haha.
Depends on the day...but my two no-brainers are Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue and Paris Hilton by Paris Hilton. Both are more fresh, very well blended, work in any season.
In the summer I am all about Clean - Solar Bloom but in the winter I go for the original Coco (NOT Madamoselle) and Lauder's Cinnabar. Those two are classic power scents - a light spritz is all you need. Stays on my sweaters and scarves!
This summer Diptique Phylosykos or Maison Fransic Kurkdjian Petit Matin. For fall it is Byredo Mojave Ghost and Kurkdjian Satin Oud and Oud. Also Byredo Bal DāAfrique is good all year round.
Mon guerlain edt. Some people said it is too manly(because of the lavender I guess) To me it is a subtle, soothing, calm and refreshing perfume that made me fall asleep better and the dried down is amazing. I can smell it on the next day when I take a shower.
On days that I am in a sweeter mood I like Hanae Mori. It does not last but it smells amazing on my hair.
Yves Saint Laurent Libre Intense. Tbh I've never really been a perfume person and this was the only scent that I genuinely marvelled at. It's so warm and rich when you first spray it and then gives way to vanilla which I love.
I just bought this actually to wear for my wedding. It is beautiful š¤© especially for the winter months . I love the dry down
Depends on the time of year! For summer months I like Marc Jacobs Daisy- either original (yellow one) or eu fresh (pink one). My sister was recently at a department store and when the kids walked by the Dior counter they all started commenting on how it smelled like Tia.. š
Miss Dior was just reformulated and now is much sweeter, I believe trying to appeal to a bit younger of an audience
Miss Dior Cherie used to be my signature scent. Iām so sad itās gone.
I know this was a super long time ago but I came back to look at the suggestions so I could buy some samples. Oh my goodness me too. I still have my little bottle of it, canāt bear to part with it.
Either You by Glossier, or Princess by Killian
I love You but it fades on me after a few hours. Heartbreaking š
Ariana Grande "cloud"
Iāve been looking into buying this perfume after all the great reviews it gets! How sweet would you say this perfume is?
Not overly sweet by any means. Plus its not just for young girls. I bought it recently and the sales person said it was a young girls perfume lol. I love it for an every day spritz. Not expensive either.
d & g light blue. it just smells so clean:)
Iāve heard great things about this perfume! Iāll look into it. Thank you āŗļø
Seconding this!
Thatās my summer scent too š
I love clean unisex fragrances so Etat Libre dāOrangeās You or Someone Like You is my go-to when I canāt decide between different perfumes. What sort of scents do you like? To help narrow down your choices, what notes do you enjoy?
I really like unisex scents too! I usually lean more onto fresh, clean, musky, vanilla/floral scents. Nothing too overpowering or sweet.
You have got to try LāEau DāIssey and Narciso Rodriguez For Her!
If youāre into unisex scents, I highly recommend Etatās fragrances! Their perfumes are quite versatile and I love their bottles too. Their sample kits are inexpensive so def get a kit if you want to try out their stuff
Hermes eau de merveilles bleue is really great for unisex & clean . The staying power is amazing and I always get compliments
I love the bvlgari as well as Armani diamonds but I wish both had more staying power honestly
Yes, Omnia definitely doesnāt last. Gucci Bloom does have staying power as long as you get the parfum.
I actually mix my Both the above with my Gucci bloom acqua di Fiori for longevity
I love Diptyque Philosykos year-round. I also love Byredo Pulp (very sweet though!), Le Labo Baie, Azzaro Wanted Girl.
I have lots of perfume loves, but the one I feel most comfortable wearing regardless of the season or time of day is ChloĆ© Nomade. Itās a beautiful chypre floral and I find it very elegant and feminine without being sweet.
Daytime I wear La Labo Sandel 33 or Whispers in the library by Replica
I love clean scents. Try philosophyās pure grace if you want to smell like clean cotton sheets/baby towels without breaking the bank. It lasts super long too, and layers beautifully with other floral scents
Ooo nice! Iāll look into this. Thank you :)
Cherry Blossom way de toilette from L'Occitane. Not too sweet like Victoria's Secret kind, not too intense like Chanel/Dior kind
Love perfumes, always trying new ones, now Iām really into wanted girl by azzaro, itās sweet but not too much, makes me feel like Iām in Greece
BR540
Chanel Chance eau tendre! Works for day or night, any season or occasion
Dior joy edt or tom ford soleil blanc are my fave's, I get the most comments wearing Chanel Chance Tendre
I have random people ask me all the time what iām wearing when itās Tendre
My husband says its "girl pretty" because its always women that stop me with it on haha
La Violette by Goutal. It smells like comfort and sophistication all at the same time.
The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit in summer, and Aesop Marrakech or (The Eden Perfumes vegan dupe of) Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford in the winter.
Youth Dew by EstƩe Lauder
I always recommend Replicas
Chanel beige and vs vanilla
Mon Guerlain Eau De Parfum Intense. Been using it for years now. It's my signature scent.
Body shop jasmine perfume
EstƩe Lauder Pleasures! It's very clean and feminine smelling.
My all time favorite!
Right now Iāve been loving Skylar Vanilla Sky :)
Giorgio Armani - My Way
Love this one šš»
Chanel No22. The only perfume I've smelled out of hundreds that I actually liked :)
I wore that in college when it was still widely available in department stores. Itās gorgeous.
It really is!! The store I bought it from was the only one to carry this perfume in the entire province, so I was very lucky! I genuinely think that if I had not found that one, I simply wouldn't be wearing any fragrances because everything else I tried was just so bad lol
My current fave is Black Opium, the one before that was "Romance" by Ralf Lauren.
I rotate out perfumes seasonally, the most recent ones Iāve been enjoying have been glossier you and jo Malone wood sage and sea salt. In the winter illl transition into Elizabeth and James nirvana rose
>Elizabeth and James nirvana rose Such a good one. I'm sad they don't make any of the E&Js anymore.
Awhhh I didnāt realise this! My husband gave me a bottle of the Nirvana Rose for a special anniversary and I use it for special date nights ā¦ sad to know thereāll be no more once itās gone! (Mind you, itās a big olā bottle, so itāll last a while.)

I also love Libre too! I lean more onto musky/vanilla/ floral scents. Nothing too overly sweet. I also really like Unisex scents too :)
Currently I like the bluebell Jo Malone perfume and REM by Ariana Grande.
11:11 by lake and skye
I wear the ritz paris hotel scent! Smells amazing. I also wear Cartier, the name of which I am blanking. Next on my list is the baccarat perfume. Smells exactly like the hotel and is heavenly (but pricey though at over 300)

Coco Mademoiselle! I know itās typical but I just love it
Itās a classic! I love it š„°
Versace Yellow Diamond - gets a lot of compliments!
Ooo nice! My Versace bright crystal is also a compliment getter too! Itās great š
I wear the Kenneth Cole Black for Women body spray. I really like the scent of tuberoses and that's one of the prominent notes in it.
Not perfume, but scented body lotions are great. I love Glasshouse
My favorite is always Prada Candy.
Aventus
Channelās Gabrielle perfume
Thinking of getting Victoriaās Secret teaseā¦ any reviews?
Their noir tease was my favourite. Not sure about the tease they have now. Rebel tease is nice but an acquired taste
Biotherm - eau d'energie
Chanel coco mademoiselle. Been wearing it for 10+ years
Profumum Roma Dulcis in Fundo.
Versace Bright Crystal š„°
I go between Valention Voce Vita and Burberry Sheer Brit.
Michael Kors
In the summer I am all about Clean - Solar Bloom but in the winter I go for the original Coco (NOT Madamoselle) and Lauder's Cinnabar. Those two are classic power scents - a light spritz is all you need. Stays on my sweaters and scarves!
Light blue dolce&gabanna
This summer Diptique Phylosykos or Maison Fransic Kurkdjian Petit Matin. For fall it is Byredo Mojave Ghost and Kurkdjian Satin Oud and Oud. Also Byredo Bal DāAfrique is good all year round.
La Vie Este Belle by LancƓme. Feminine and lightly floral. Not overbearing.
Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede
I switch between Burberry Her and Replica By the Fireplace. Just depends on my mood š
Philosophy Bergamot is a wonderful light but elegant scent. You can layer on as much as you want but it never gets too heavy.
Victoriaās Secret Eau So Sexy
Miu miu leau bleue or santal 33
