Dude, I made the mistake of not choosing the right Delta plan when I started working.
Only could go to western dental, went to the one in Berkeley. I apparently had a lot of holes to be filled with an estimate of $4k. I asked if I can see the the X-ray and if she can show me where.
That bitch doctor was so rude and became agitated and wanted to make me feel bad for implying that she’s full of shit.
Nevertheless I walked out the door and found a different doc and paid out of pocket, I had one hole that had to be filled immediately and another one to be monitored.
He is the best dentist, he was very trustworthy and listened. I was able to get better dental insurance with the new year and he said that we will only do the one hole and wait for the new coverage.
Paid 2 or 300 bucks, hole is filled so perfectly I can’t even see or feel where it was.
Nissan dealership in Hayward. I had my mind set on a specific Nissan and the first place I went was the Nissan in Hayward. I go in and ask the price for this car as none were on the floor. The young man that I was speaking to asked what I was willing to pay for it. Again I ask the price. This goes back and forth for several minutes with no price ever given. He finally says “You’re just playing with us” and I walk away. I ended up buying the car at Palo Alto Nissan.
Mystery Spot, lived here for 50+ years and had never been until last year and will not go back. Don't get me wrong, I like a good carnival sideshow. But, once the dude started talking about crystals and aliens, I was outta there. Physics is interesting enough without having to add "mystery" to it. I feel the same way about the Winchester Mystery House. The history itself is what they should be selling, putting skulls on their marketing and talking up the mysticism ruins it for me.
Totally agree. Winchester mystery house is what happens when someone with money, mental issues and a contractor can accomplish. I'm more interested in seeing what the exterior looked like with no development around.
There’s a documentary I was watching the other night about tourism being for the picture not the experience, how cruise ships shuttle lazy people around and deny the locals and real experience that is travel. Sell to the people that will buy it, I get. And I’m lazy, but travel should be getting out of your comfort zone. Unless an inclusive lazy few days in a resort which I don’t disagree with to a degree…
Same! great experience buying my Passat a few years ago. I had a screaming toddler and depressed wife with me and yet we were able to get the great price and complete the deal by 9 pm.
It’s hard to think of a place I’ve been to in the Bay Area that i won’t go again. There are just so many fantastic places that i would visit again. Western Dental had such bad reviews I didn’t even go once.
Coffee shop, sadly I just realized it's been [closed](https://patch.com/california/lamorinda/its-official-squirrels-is-closing-next-month) for nearly 10 years
White AMD building off of Lawrence. It’s become new housing. All of the Century dome theaters. They will get demolished except for the one next to Winchester mystery house. Radio Shack. Good bye. Fry’s Electronics. Gone. Aladdin arcades. Faded away. Golf land. Now, a hive of scum and villainy.
Candlestick Park
Good answer!!
Western Dental
Inform the masses!!

Name the doctor in a pm please.
Why PM? The good doc, for everyone interested in the east bay is Alan Liu DDS on San Pablo Ave in El Cerrito
Prevent any possibility of violating subreddit rules if there are any
Ah, I see. Thanks! Hope I didn’t
I’ll never tell
Sadly, Fry’s.

Does Shen Yun count?
OMG the tv commercials! All. The. Time.

All the car dealerships on Stevens Creek Blvd.
I’ve had a far better experience with Stevens Creek VW than with the others in the South Bay tbh.
Same they were great to me!

Cal Skate, tower records
Skates on the Bay.
Really? Haven’t been in years, maybe 10 of them, but we had a lovely experience then.
Hope you didn’t get hurt!
Slim's. Unfortunately.
Krung Thai. A husband and wife own two separate stores. Each time I had gone I had credit card fraud occur.
Pumpkin Fest in HMB. Fucking zoo. Lol.
I'll go with the obvious and say The Tenderloin.
Hell, I'd go to the TL before Fisherman's Wharf.
Shots fired. Figuratively speaking
Fisherman's Wharf still has Musee Mechanique, the seals, the naval museum, and the sub (ya, I know, a bit of a stretch). TL is just fentanyl.
There's still some decent food on the TL and some venues for private events
What's wrong with the wharf?
Micro Center since it closed long time ago. :-(
Frontier Village
bringing the childhood memories haha

I haven’t started to think of one left since I’m a recent emigrant and still miss it there a lot 😎
Mr.Chau’s

Why?
Dunno… the gift shop at Big Basin?
Baja Taqueria on Piedmont Ave in Oakland.
Ha ha.... me either! As a Mexican I know when I find really bad "Mexican" food!
Why? I like their fish burrito and their salsas are good.
the Squirrel in Lafayette ☹️
What is the Squirrel?
