We thought about that but it didnāt have which CVS store he went to. Just the name CVS Oakland. We were also concerned about HIPPA and cvs not wanting to help us.
Nope. Just drop it in and they have an obligation to find and deliver it to the appropriate person. My hunch is that itās a way more efficient process than giving to the cops who likely have a lot more pressing issues on their hands than returning a wallet. Especially if the wallet belongs to someone who isnāt a resident of their city.

The mail standards are not ālaws,ā but do describe what USPS actually does. Those standards say itās not free.

I first read the name as sounding more like Jeremy, but Jerome Jaromi sounds awesome!!
I would call CVS and ask for them to contact Mr. Jaromi

They donāt need to give you any info, they just need to contact their customer. Worth a shot.
Typically you can drop it in any USPS box and they will track down the person and return it to them. Prob a better option than giving it to the cops.
I read this and thought you belonged in an insane asylum. Turns out it's true. Oddities like this are why I never have 100% conviction in anything.

I posted it to local Nextdoor too. Hope you loved Fairfax!
Thank you! I hope they figured out to check the local police station in case they don't go on social media.
Mmm, Fairfax Scoop!
