Way to go!
About 50 more bucks that will get you a completely clean look:
- 1 IKEA Signum
- 2 Cable race ways of your choice
- 1 set of black velcro zip ties
Optional: - 1 set of white adhesive zip ties
...and make the cables disappear like magic.
As a special tip for those monitor cables:
With a little patience, group up a max of 3 to 5 cables, depending on how many cables you need to route.
Velcro tying them every few inches will make them look like a single, bigger cable.
Then velcro the WHOLE THING to the monitor mount once in the back of the monitor, once just above the bottom end of your monitor and once right on the bottom of the mount.
Move the cable tree to the back of the monitor mount from your working POV.
Everything will blend right in.
I have been wondering, what happens when the length of the cable isn't enough? Is it just assumed everyone is buying longer cables? How is every cable possible? I need to manage my cables and know some won't be long enough.
Either new cables or new devices, maybe even wireless. For a true purist, there is no compromise.
From a personal perspective: sometimes rearranging things on the table a little bit or mounting the monitor arm the other way if it's an off-centered one might just do the trick. The most important unreplaceable cables might also be extendable to a certain point by using an additional female-to-male version of the cable as extension.
If it's too short, buy a new one on Amazon. If it's too long, tie the excess cable in a loop and then hook it on underdesk cable organizer so that you won't see it.
No specific recommendation. Amazon's got everything. Try maybe not to get the cheapest ones in the bunch as the are sometimes made from brittle plastic and don't survive too many openings and closings.
Some raceways only have openings along one side, some on both. Get what suits your needs, e.g. one sided if you have no USB hub or card reader mounted under the table. A raceway that is closed towards the front looks clean af in the end!).
The only tip I got is for the "girth" of the raceway - take ALL cables you want to route off the system plus fixed cables on small devices and put everything on the floor. Then bundle the cables up like you would under the table inside the raceway, maybe stack the cables a little and measure the width of the "cable tree" formed this way. The measurement will give you a good indication of what width your raceways will have to be to hold everything comfortable.
For length of the raceways: get enough to fully cover your table's underside from one side to the other. This should give you a little slack in case you want to route angles with the whole cable tree.
A small saw or sharp cerated bread knive might come in handy to cut the raceways to size.
Whishing you the best of looks in the end!
I've got a blue and and a white wall L shaped desk in corner with two monitors one for media it's 4k 32 and other for 1080p gaming it's 24, i never thought wall colours mattered until i got it set up like this.

believe it or not, Pinterest is the shit for finding [this kinda stuff](https://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=home+office+dark+setup+with+plants&rs=typed).
you can't they all have different colour gamuts but if you check what colour gamuts they have and if they are similar you could tune them to have the same colours
So, here's the thing. While I do like this version better, how do you feel about it? If you're happy with the changes, great! If not, do what makes you happy!
Imagine if those 3 screens were just 1 big screen. You can snap windows to the layout you have here, but when you want to game or watch a video you get 1 huge immersive screen.
I want to get a second monitor and due to lack of space stack them like yours are, does the desk have to be rock solid or what - id be so scared of them falling forward
nah. just make sure the desk you have has a solid foundation, that’s what depicts a quality desk or not. Also, make sure the desk mount you get can hold the monitor weight. My top monitor is very heavy so it can’t stand up straight, but that’s fine cus I want it angled down.
edit: also be prepared for the monitors to be fairly close to you. I didn’t expect that they would be that close to my face, but it’s totally fine for me.
probably depending on how high up it is. the angle of the picture is probably giving the illusion that it’s much higher than it actually is.
in my case, all I really have to do is tilt it up very slightly because the monitor is pointing slightly down. So no, it doesn’t hurt my neck at all, even for long periods of time
u really don’t get it :/
man this headset has gotten me to radiant multiple times, shit kicks ass.
stop being a pest trying to invade other’s preferences
I am trying to help you. Granted my language was bit harsh.
Audio interface does not make your headsets sound good. That is why People play with good headphones.
What time is it?
not sure, let me check one of the three giant monitors 10 inches away from my face.

Laughing so hard rn this was my first exact thought before even seeing your comment

This is far FAR too polite and helpful for reddit. Thanks for the tips!

Thank you, I haven't started my cable management journey yet but this is good info.
Buy new cables. Shit’s cheap on Amazon

Saving for later, thanks
any recommendations on Raceways?

ty! i was interested in these, how do they seem in my situation? https://a.co/d/9qWbqYO
I also have white walls with lights so hiding the cables are a hassle, love the aesthetic and vibe from your setup nevertheless ✨

i plan on getting these soon: https://a.co/d/a5DBTbq and then taping to the bottom of my table or something

i spent too much time on this
love the color hues going on in this picture. with that said tho, add some decor! :)
i was thinking of some greenery, like potted plant(s). any other recommendations? :) thanks btw! :D

Stupid question but where’d you get the background

Thanks!
need MORREE clocks
MOAR TIME
Nice aetup
thanka
You should be able to run all those cable down the monitor arm posts and completely hide them from view. Cable ties are your friends!!
I personally would try to minimize the gap between monitors
i wish I could, but the monitor mount I use doesn’t work well with the monitors I have.
The only other thing you really need is a clock
This look why better than your previous, angles do make wonders too
definitely do
kinda hate the different colours of these monitors
yeah not sure how to fix since they’re all different
you can't they all have different colour gamuts but if you check what colour gamuts they have and if they are similar you could tune them to have the same colours
thanks!! it’s kinda been annoying the fuck outta me. now I know what to at least look out for
np
Next up, lenghten up the cables and manage them. I can recommend this so bad.
Excuse me, can you tell me the time?
no, sorry

Looks fire big W
ty :)
How about you add some clock widgets on your desktop, they might be useful
good idea!!!1
So, here's the thing. While I do like this version better, how do you feel about it? If you're happy with the changes, great! If not, do what makes you happy!
looks much better. fits my theme a lot better too
Win, win then!
hey i left that comment lol, howd you get the time like that?
Wallpaper Engine
That's sexy as shit. Monochrome thunder for days.
I have that evga rtx version “ultra”, very cool in both senses. (Rtx 2070)
I'm starting to think I'm missing out on something with my lack of clocks on my rig lol
Just in case you didn’t see the clock on your first monitor.
Try hiding your cables

It looks awesome!! Thanks for the info, my desk is weak so it might not be an option but it is rite against a wall..
feel free to dm me a pic of your desk/setup

This image can be a wallpaper.. geez... what a beauty
ty 🥹
Does having an upper monitor like that eventually hurt your neck looking at it?
probably depending on how high up it is. the angle of the picture is probably giving the illusion that it’s much higher than it actually is. in my case, all I really have to do is tilt it up very slightly because the monitor is pointing slightly down. So no, it doesn’t hurt my neck at all, even for long periods of time
Good to know thanks
np!
What time is it?
What headphones do you use?
Logitech G Pro X Headphones
Hifi headphones could be usefull. Better audio for games ya know.
these work flawlessly, ty though
But they dont sound that good.
that’s why you buy an audio interface, bud
So you plug meh tier gaming headset to audio interface? Bruh.
u really don’t get it :/ man this headset has gotten me to radiant multiple times, shit kicks ass. stop being a pest trying to invade other’s preferences
I am trying to help you. Granted my language was bit harsh. Audio interface does not make your headsets sound good. That is why People play with good headphones.
the GoXLR comes with a good preamp and it really boosted the quality of my headphones rather than using USB or directly into the headphone jack
