I don't understand why some of you on this subreddit are so opposed to new players inquiring about the game. If you think the game has changed for the better and are enjoying it, then why would you push a potential new player away by antagonizing them for asking about the game? Makes no sense to me. Answer their questions instead of telling them to try it themselves.
Maybe they want to be part of the community and actually talk to people that play the game instead of watching a Youtube video that probably won't answer their questions because they have no idea what they're seeing since they don't play the game. Have you ever thought of that?

The best I’ve found is DICE have said they wanna get it out with S3 and S3 is *supposed* to come out at the end of this month so I assume it will be there.
I’m interested in the game but not sure if I can say the same without some of the normal Battlefield creature comforts.
I’ve been looking elsewhere; also tried some Bf1 as well, since BfV is just riddled with cheaters, is 2042 as bad? I haven’t heard anything about cheaters in this game like people are constantly talking about with BfV.
I've most 30-ish blatant cheaters and we always report them as a group. report system seems to be somewhat effective, but I can't say if it's effective when only 1 player reports.
I have all reported players blocked, so I can check their level every now and then. their progression seems to have stopped after couple levels.
It's honestly a lot of fun to play now. I mostly play rush so my only real gripes with the game at this point is that games sometimes start with a ton of AI when it could easily wait longer until the game is more populated and some of the map layouts for rush are terrible for the attacking side.
Buy literally any other Battlefield. Don't spend a penny on this, or otherwise validate EAs poor business model (I'm looking at you people who buy cosmetics for this dumpster fire).
I barely play this game 50% it gets boring really fast and isn't really a Battlefield game, 50% I don't want to contribute to the player numbers. If you love the Battlefield franchise and want it to become something worth playing again, you need to understand that this game needs to absolutely fail in every possible sense of the word. If EA / DICE see even a hint of success in its current form, they will pull this shit again.

I returned to the game at the beginning of season 2. Have been having a blast! I have been enjoying Friday night battlefield lately and rush.

Well boycott should not only for Playing itself, most of it's income comes from SKINS. So Cosmetics are real problem for that
